About Bella
Bella is a December baby. Very close to Christmas, actually! She is currently 18 months old and weighs approximately 72 lbs and is turning into quite the proper young lady.
Bella loves to play, go for walks, belly rubs, chase birds out of the yard, or just lounge around the house or outside and enjoy the weather. Wherever you are is where she wants to be.
Bella has learned a lot since being with her fosters for the past four months. She has learned to cope with poor impulse control, along with other behavior issues. With the assistance of daily, affordable medication, she is able to be, and feel, like a normal dog. So much that she is now ready for her forever home!
Bella does well with other dogs, on a leash (unless it's a new sniffing area, then she pulls), does well in car rides and does NOT like cats. She is getting better at not counter surfing, but still needs work. She does "sit" and "down" and is doing much better at not jumping on others. It is highly recommended for her to be in a household without small children. Preferably older children knowledgeable with dogs is best.
She is trained to go outside to do her business, so no worries about your floors! She is very scared of a crate. Fortunately, she is the BEST dog when her humans are gone or sleeping, so no worries about something being torn up.
Bella is looking for a faithful and loyal companion that has patience and understanding during her transitioning time to her new home. Don't worry about anything though! She is very certain her foster family will guide her new parents in the right direction with her.
If you're looking for a fun, lovable redhead, then you can stop looking 'cause you found her!
To be considered for Bella you MUST have the following:
