How can you say no to that face?! 😍 Everyone meet Boone (formerly known as Derek)! He is a brother to both JJ & Penelope, and is as ready as ever to land himself a forever family of his very own. 🥰 Boone (male) is an 10-11 week American bulldog mix who weighs around 15lbs, and was born in rescue with one of our amazing foster families! We don’t know his mix for certain (we will post a picture of his mama in the comments, who’s papers list her as an American bulldog mix), but would definitely venture to guess he could have a bit of hound in him. Whatever his makeup…he is just as sweet as pie! 🥧 If you are looking for an expert snuggler and lap warmer, Boone is your man! He is still learning all about the ins and outs of family life + adjusting to being separated from his siblings…and will need lots of continued help and consistency — in both the housebreaking and kennel-training departments — from his forever family. Currently his favorite things are being by his people, toys, cuddles, and playing with other doggie friends! Boone loves other dogs (& would probably love another 4-legged forever companion), is young enough to be introduced to kitties successfully, and is also a great candidate for a home with kiddos! Some intakes break our hearts a bit more than others…and Buddy is definitely one of those cases. At 5 years old, Buddy has never had a family, has never known anything except life on a chain (with sores around his neck from wearing a collar much too tight), and was never even given a name. After hearing his story, one of our amazing fosters stepped in and welcomed this boy with open arms….and Buddy’s life is now forever changed! ❤️ He will soon be ready for the forever home he has long been searching for, and we are honored to be the ones to help him find the love and companionship he deserves. Buddy is a husky/lab mix, is 5 years old, and weighs around 55-60lbs. In typical husky fashion, Buddy can be a vocal guy! He is a confident boy who does really well with other dogs. He LOVES to be outside! Since being outdoors is all he’s ever known, he is still adjusting to being welcomed inside, so can still be a little bit timid indoors. He is good with other animals: including cats, chickens, and goats. A fenced-in yard would be a major perk for this boy, however this is not a requirement. Buddy will need help with leash-training and his basic manners, as these are things he has never been taught and/or exposed to…but his foster mom says he is a quick learner and is doing better every day! He isn’t a big fan of his kennel as of yet (and is a bit of a Houdini!), so will need lots of patience, persistence, and positive reinforcement from his forever person/family as he learns everything new and fun in this fresh start he’s been given! His foster mom says that Buddy is an overall chill boy; while he is still curious, he mostly enjoys hanging out, his bones and toys, and cuddles + relaxation with his person. While we don’t know what Buddy’s previous feeding schedule was like, we do know that he can get protective and resource guard when there’s food around. He has never displayed this behavior around dog food/dog treats (only around yummy smelling people-food!), but in knowing this we think he would do best with older, more responsible children or in an all-adult home. We would love nothing more than to see Buddy settle into the loving home he deserves. The fact that the beautiful, LOVABLE, playful, sweet-natured miss Dara is still up for grabs just absolutely BLOWS. OUR. MINDS. 🤯🤯 This precious girl is as spunky and fun-loving as they come! Dara (female) is from mama Lilith’s litter, who joined us from a shelter in Texas. Although we don’t know her breed makeup for certain, Lilith appears to be a mastiff/bully, possibly dane and/or rottie mix (we will post her photo in the comments; she has a big, smooch-able block head!). Dara was born on 9/28/22, so is just now under 6 months old. She is short, but thick! Her current weight is approximate 40-45lbs…so she will definitely be a good-sized girl when fully grown! Dara is a friend to all — she’s super social, playful, energetic, and forever happy. She is always down for affection and attention! She adores her doggie friends, and loves to follow her 4-legged foster brother around everywhere…so — while not a requirement — she’d really enjoy having a pup-playmate in her forever home! She does wonderfully with kiddos of all ages, and especially loves the littles (toddlers) in her foster home. 🥰 She has simply never met a stranger! We don’t know that she’s had a chance to meet any cats, but can’t imagine she’d have an issue if provided with the proper introduction. Eddie (male) is from the “E” litter, and is now between 11-12 weeks old. He joined us from Texas, where he was found on the side of the road [with his siblings & mama], dumped and left for dead. 😢 Thankfully a kind soul stepped in to help, and that was the beginning of Eddie’s forever journey! He is a sweet soul with a fun, playful, and ever-so-lovable personality. ✨GORGEOUS✨ miss Gabi (female) is as ready as ever to land a forever family she’s able to call her own! This sweet gentle-giant is another pup from mama Lilith’s litter, who joined us from Texas. We aren’t 100% sure of her breed mix, but Lilith sure looks to be a mastiff/bully with some possible great dane and/or rottie mixed in (we will post her photo in the comments; she has the biggest, smooch-able block head! 😍). Gabi is a low-rider…but is very thick! She was born on 9/28/22, so is now just under 6 months old. Our best guess is that she’s quickly approaching 50+lbs, so she’ll definitely be a good-sized girl when fully grown!  Gabi can be a little bit timid upon first meet, but after a minute or two of warm-up time…she won’t leave your side! She loves all of the snuggles, pets, and attention she can get! 🥰 She is incredibly sweet, calm, and gentle. She wants to be as close to her humans as possible…so if anyone’s in the market for a [big 🙃] lap dog, Gabi is your girl! 😍 She gets along wonderfully with other dogs (of all ages & sizes), and especially comes out of her shell if she has another 4-legged friend around to observe + learn from. To our knowledge she hasn’t yet met kitties, but with her calm demeanor — and if provided the proper introduction — we can’t imagine she’d have any issue coexisting with cats! Miss Honey-Bun (aka Honey 🍯) would love nothing more than to start out her New Year with a forever family of her very own! 💛 This sweetheart is just as her name suggests: a honey. And an absolute LOVE! Honey (female) is estimated at right around 2.5 years old. She is a pretty pittie mix and not only is she a low-rider, but is smaller in stature; she weighs in right around 40lbs! And it probably goes without saying…but THOSE. EARS. 😍😍😍😍 Honey has spent a fair amount of time in her short life being a caretaker as “mama”-dog, and it’s now her turn to soak up all of the well-deserved love and spoils! She lovesssss to give kisses! + is all about the snuggles, lap cuddles, and endless belly rubs. She is affectionate beyond measure! Honey is 100% potty-trained (no accidents/puppy-business for this girl 🙌🏼), and goes into her kennel on-command. She does like to devour her food in no time at all…so would really benefit from a slow-feeder bowl, as well as being fed separately from other dogs in the home. To note, Honey’s playstyle with other pups is described as “rough.” She has an alpha personality, and isn’t necessarily a candidate to live with any/all dogs. We are recommending a home without small dogs (30lbs or less), and ideally she’d do best with another submissive + playful dog. That being said, Honey would also ADORE being your one & only (all the more love for her!). 🥰 As of right now, we don’t know how she’d do with cats…but because of our “no small dogs” requirement, we are guessing that kitties would also be a no-go. This sweet, happy boy is Jeffrey! He is 3 years old, a terrier mix of sorts, and weighs right around 45lbs. Jeffrey would do best as an only-dog. That being said, he also has some separation anxiety (as he loves his humans soooo much), so ideally would thrive with a person who’s more of a homebody and/or someone who works from home. If/when he is left home alone, he does best when kenneled (he will whine a little in his crate at first, but settles in after just a couple of minutes). Jeffrey love, love, LOVES people…kids included! He adores everyone and loves to smother his people with puppy-smooches…and would love to spend his days snuggling endlessly. Jeffrey will need a forever family who will provide him with the time and attention he needs + who will commit to working through some of his anxieties, but we promise that the love he will give in return is more than worth the effort. This adorable little love is JJ, and she is now ready to land a forever family of her very own! 🤍 JJ (female) is a cute, clumsy, A+ cuddler who just LOVES her people! She is now between 10-11 weeks old, and currently weighs 15lbs. JJ’s mama is said to be an American bulldog mix (we will post her picture in the comments), and it is likely JJ will be a pretty big girl (75lbs+) when fully grown! For her young age, this sweet girl is pretty mellow. She loves other dogs, but is not overly hyper or rambunctious! She does like to romp around with toys — with her friends, or on her own — but most of all loves following her humans around (she’s been a bit of a velcro-pup 🥰), and snuggling up…she’ll simply just melt into your arms! JJ is still working hard on her potty-training, and will need lots of continued assistance from her family for her to be successful. She sleeps her in kennel at nighttime (with only a little whimpering after a bit of reassurance), and has been good about letting her foster family know when she needs to be let out to go potty. JJ is still adjusting to life without her 5 siblings + mama, so will need patience, positive reinforcement, and the appropriate transition time as she learns to be crated alone. At this point she would not be a good candidate for apartment living, as she has found her voice and does like to howl when her people leave home! JJ would be fine with kitties if provided the proper introduction, and is also kid-friendly (keep in mind she’s all puppy!). She’s truly the most lovable girl, who wants nothing more than to be loved…and she has the most endearing, clumsy, big-pawed puppy walk 😍 (…or stumble 🙂🙃). Pretty miss-Macy is as ready as ever to find her forever family! And seriously…this girl is a CATCH! 😍Macy (female) is a 1 year old black lab mix who joined the New Leash crew after she was found as an unclaimed stray, and was about to find herself sitting in the shelter — which we are so grateful we were able to spare her from! Mach weighs 55lbs and is an absolute sweetheart. She is a smart, adaptable gal, and really catches onto things quickly (ie. she figured out how to use her foster’s doggie door in under 15mins! ✅). Macy love-love-LOVES other dogs! She would adore having another pup-playmate in her forever home [to romp and play with]. Macy’s current 4-legged foster playmate is a lab, but to our knowledge she has done well with dogs of all sizes, both male and female alike! She is seriously affectionate and incredibly loving — she loves attention! Macy cuddles like you can’t even imagine! She’ll crawl into your lap (or your bed, next to you on the floor…wherever!), will nuzzle your neck, and wait to soak up all of the love and spoils. 🥰🥰🥰 Macy didn’t have much previous experience on-leash, but has made great progress and learned to walk more properly AND patiently! She is completely house-trained (no accidents!), but doesn’t really fancy going potty on-leash. Therefore we’d *highly* recommend a fenced-in backyard for this girl. She also likes to follow her nose, so if not provided with a fence, Macy would need: 1) a tie-out, and 2) a patient, dedicated person/family to work with her through learning to potty while on the tie-out. She is continuing to learn more & more about the good life everyday. Just this week she learned that “shakes” earn her treats! 😋 Her foster mom says that Macy •NEEDS• a home with kiddos! She just can’t get enough of them! 😍 She’d be the perfect candidate for a family with children of any age. 💕 She’s energetic, so would love an active family to take her on endless adventures! We don’t know that she’s met cats, so can’t guarantee how she’d be with kitties…but she does need a home without chickens. This cutie-pie is Penelope, and not only is she precious…but she’s in the market for a forever family she can call her own! 🥰 Penelope (female) is a sister to JJ, and is another pup from mama Gracie’s litter; she is said to be an American bulldog mix of sorts (we’ll post a photo of her mama in the comments). She is between 10-11 weeks old and currently weighs around 15lbs. Penelope is a super sweet and ever-so-lovable girl! 😍 She has really started to come out of her shell and loves to play — both with her toys and with other dogs! She has been on several leash walks and is getting more comfortable on-leash every day. This past weekend Penelope was able to meet a 10 month old baby and did wonderfully! She hasn’t had a chance to interact with cats, but with the proper introduction [and given her sweet-natured personality] we think she’d do just fine with them. She is still working on her potty-training; she is doing pretty well, but will definitely need lots of consistency + patience from her forever family in-order to be successful. Penelope simply adores her people and likes to be in their vicinity. 💕 She does get a bit concerned when she can’t see them (or her other 4-legged friends!), so will need some adjustment time and plenty of positive reinforcement from her family as she transitions into a new home/learns to be kenneled when left alone. It’s all a learning curve as she gets accustomed to life without her siblings! For a young puppy Penelope is relatively mellow…but is becoming more & more playful as she settles in and becomes more comfortable/confident! She is easily redirected if she’s chewing on something she shouldn’t, and is eager to learn and please her people. Due to circumstances out of her control (which are to no fault of her own!), sweet Roxy finds herself in-need of a new foster and/or forever home. ❤️ Roxy (female) is just over 4 years old (with an estimated birthdate of 12/6/18), and is an itty-bitty pittie who weighs just under 40lbs. Roxy’s beginnings were rough. She was found as a stray in Texas — obviously having recently given birth to puppies — in-need of nourishment, vet care, and lots & LOTS of love. This girl has proven that she is as resilient as they come…and today is healthy, happy, and SO ready to land a home! Roxy is simple to please: she enjoys long walks, warm blanket snuggles, any toy that resembles a duck, and her people. 😍 There isn’t much more that she asks for! She is a smart gal [who is also very treat-motivated] and knows how to sit, lay down, leave-it, and come. Roxy has been fostered with young kids and was an absolute rockstar with them! She is very gentle and would be a wonderful candidate for a home with children. When it comes to other 4-legged friends, Roxy does ok when provided with a slower, proper introduction (& on neutral ground is even better). She can be a bit “pushy” with her play-style, so may do best in a home without smaller dogs. She does have a prey drive, so a home without kitties is a must. More than anything…Roxy would LOVE to be your one & only! 🥰 She is fully potty-trained and crate-trained (+ loves her kennel!), but is also a good candidate to have free roam of the house when her people are away. Car rides are her favorite, and she makes the best copilot! She will make a wonderful companion, adventurer, best friend, and cuddle-buddy. Sully is filled with sugar and lots of spice 😉…& will need a home that is willing to provide him with an excess of patience, lots of training, plenty of physical + mental stimulation, and who is equipped to handle the adorable ball of energy that he is! 🙃 More about Sully:  ✅ 1 year old  ✅ pomsky (aka a pomeranian/husky) ✅ 16lbs  ✅ LOVES other dogs (but needs tolerant dogs, as he likes to pester them & bite their legs during play)  ✅ is cat-friendly, but will occasionally attempt play that can lean more toward the rough side (so dog-savvy kitties are a must!) ✅ adores the outdoors  ✅ loves to chase toys!
