About Swiftie
Everybody meet Swiftie! š„° She is absolutely the sweetest pup you will ever meet! š Swiftie (female) is a beautiful 2 year old heeler mix of sorts (with the CUTEST underbite! š) who is looking for a family to love on her forever. She is the perfect size, at right around 35-40lbs. Not only that, she’s an amazing cuddler and loves to keep you (…& your lap š) company! Swiftie loves naptime just as much as she does playtime; she’s an adaptable girl who knows how to read the room. If there’s anything that Swiftie loves the most, it’s MEAL TIME! ššš She definitely does best with a slow-feeder bowl. She is very motivated by treats, which has really helped her become more acclimated and comfortable in her foster home. Swiftie can be a bit shy upon first meet — especially with men/older boys — but when given adequate time (+ plenty of yummy treats!), she adapts to her surroundings and really begins to thrive. She definitely prefers female human friends over males, but also learns to trust males if they are patient + extra kind. Due to her shy nature, she would do best with respectful older kiddos/teenagers. Swiftie is kennel-trained and prefers to sleep in her crate at nighttime. She is a quiet girl who doesn’t bark or whine (win!). She is sometimes a bit stealthy when it comes to sneaking food and nibbling on socks…but is a smart pup who will continue to learn with time and training! Swiftie adores other dogs, and would especially love having another pup-friend in her forever home to: 1) learn from, 2) pickup confidence, and 3) keep her company. Anyone would be SO lucky to have this sweet girl as their lifelong companion. If you think she’s the one for you…please apply + reach out and ask for Swiftie! š
