Older kids 8+ are fine, but 1year olds who don't know boundaries will get swatted 😅. Jojo has a head tilt which makes her extra cute! She gets around perfectly fine & loves to be petted. She doesn't like other cats or dogs & would prefer to have you all to herself, but if you have a calm dog who wouldn't bother her, she could coexist. She is a petite girl with a big tummy & loves to play with strings/cords. She LOVES Temptation treats and would be a really nice companion for someone who is home a lot since she loves attention. Marlon: ~1 year old neutered male, $200 Marlon is THE sweetest guy who loves to spend time with his human companions (total lap cat), but also loves playtime with other kitties & would likely be good with dogs. He is a handsome purr machine! He is quiet & chill for the most part, but can get super playful! He has environmental allergies which cause him to get sores on his face, so he has to stay on Atopica (a daily oral medication). This is not a cheap medication, so please only apply if you are financial prepared. He has a wobbly back end, but the vets say he is perfectly healthy and it doesn't bother him at all. This poor guy has been in foster for so long as we tried to figure out his allergies. He has spent a lot of it in a cone and is SO happy to finally be free!! Russell: ~ 12 year old neutered male, $100 Russ is a MAN'S MAN! He loves to cuddle up with the guys in the house the most, but if they aren't available, he'll accept a lady's lap too 🤣. He was brought to us after having been found wandering a neighborhood near horsetooth. He was super skinny, had ticks in his ear, and bad teeth. He had a few teeth pulled and got a clean bill of health from his vets at Blue Sky! He REALLY dislikes cats and dogs, so he is looking for a home as an only pet. He is so gentle and harmless. He loves to eat and sleep.......and that's about it! He will cuddle with you on the couch and rub his face on you for pets. Does not like to be held. He is quite the talker and may wake you up meowing, he just wants attention! She spent enough time with lots of other cats, that she is sick of them and would prefer to have all of the attention now! She is incredibly cuddly and loves to be petted. She loves to be around her people and sunbathe on the back of the couch next to you. She is super friendly, even to strangers, as long as she is approached calmly. She isn't super playful, although most of the cats from this shelter are not... we are unsure what enrichment was provided.
