Otis is a sweet male Belgian Malinois who is waiting for his special human to take him home and give him the life that he deserves.  He has a kind heart and wants to be loved on and give that love back.  Otis is healing from a medical issue which has requires him to be quiet while recovering, which has made a full evaluation of his behavior with other dogs difficult.  He is not aggressive, but has shown some excessive exuberance in the limited play opportunities he has had.  He will be fully recovered by 12/8, at which point a more through test of his play style with other dogs will be completed.  Overall, he has a low to medium energy level. Everywhere he goes people love to pet him and enjoy his happy personality.  Otis is not reactive to new situations or people.  Otis is amazing in the car, even when the foster gets out of the car while pumping gas, etc.  Otis has learned sit, but he needs to learn other commands.  He can be mouthy, so a home with young children is not recommended unless the owner is an experienced dog trainer.  Clearly his prior owners did not give him the time and training he deserves to fulfill his potential as a great companion dog!    He is treat-motivated, which will make further training much easier.  He just loves his ball, and enjoys playing with toys or just hanging out with his human.     The person who adopts this wonderful boy is going to be lucky enough to come home to him and look into his eyes, and know just how happy he is to welcome them home.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  All dogs come with a Fi tracking collar and a one-year subscription to the GPS service. Take a look at this handsome guy!  Outlaw is a well-trained, friendly, happy dog who is looking for an active home with lots of love.  He is a goofy guy who loves to snuggle, be close and go on long walks.  He likes to play tug and chase balls in short sessions, although his play time may extend when he has an owner with more time to spend with him.  This boy is a love-bug who likes to lean into his people to get close.  He just loves being with his people!  He behaves well, doesn’t jump on people and knows all the basic commands plus “place” “wait” “leave it” and “drop it.”  This highly trainable dog has also learned to “twist” around and between his owner’s legs - who knows what else he can learn! Outlaw is crate trained, loves to ride in the car and is non-reactive to people and new experiences.  He does have a high prey drive for cats, squirrels and other small animals, so cats in the home are a no-go. Outlaw's mom is a KNPV bred Malinois, and dad is an FCI papered Dutch Shepherd. Both of his parents are Embark DNA clear of genetic diseases and xrayed with good hips and elbows, and Outlaw also had x-rays done on hips last year and got perfect results. Outlaw is great with children and adults.  He can annoy other dogs though.  He isn’t aggressive with them but can play too rough and not respect their boundaries, so he may be best as the only dog in the family. However, we are evaluating him for his play behavior with other dogs and will update this information soon. Outlaw is dearly loved by his current family.  Their decision to re-home him is based solely upon his prey drive for cats.  When they adopted him in 2022, they were unaware of this issue and have worked diligently to address it to no avail.  They are also not able to give him the time and attention he deserves due to having several young children in the home.  Although he is not neutered yet, he will be in the near future prior to being adopted.  Note that Outlaw has had ear infections in the past that are likely allergy related.  This issue is being evaluated to determine the specific allergy. Remi is approximately 9 months old and a Dutch/GSD mix. She finished her heat cycle and was able to be spayed recently. Remi is up to date on her vaccines, and ready for you! Remi is still working on becoming fully housebroken and crate trained. She will go into her crate without fuss, but if she wants out, she will try to find a way to escape. Remi’s basic obedience is lacking, as she really only knows sit, but her foster mom reports that her house manners are good- stays off furniture on her own, no counter surfing, responds to a simple “no,” and settles with a chew toy when its asked of her. The only time she’s been vocal is when she wants out of her crate. She is a slow eater and will ignore her food if she isn’t hungry. Remi is a Velcro girl that seems to prefer women and children. She is timid at first, but is very sweet. She has been good with cats and loves to play with her foster sister. Remi loves the water and to chew…on everything, so she will need to be taught and given appropriate outlets for chewing.  This little baby has a beautiful coat that is mostly black with a little bit of brindling on her legs and chest. Her foster mom thinks that she would be good starter Dutchie for a first timer due to her relatively low drive. Very relaxed in the kennel and happy to come out for potty breaks and stretch his legs. Today is his first day hanging out at work with us and he’s doing great! Doesn’t seem to know many commands, but is pretty good on leash and is loving all the attention from our staff. He seems a little picky on treats that he likes, but he seems to like the ball. He doesn’t sit still for photos yet but we will work on it Franz is very playful and doing well with his foster family. He is happy as a clam and is loving his new found freedom. He also has a great off switch inside the house This happy wiggly guy is so ready for a family. Rue was pulled from the Dallas animal shelter after he was found severely emaciated and with an obstruction in his eye. Rue's eye has been fixed and is healing nicely. He has also been putting on weight and is looking quite handsome these days.
