Meet Alexis: Alexis is a beautiful Hound mix that is around 18 months old and 45 pounds. Alexis and her one baby were found in Memphis on the side of the road eating trash when Charlie's Crusaders rescued them. Alexis is now being fostered in PA and is ready for her forever home!    Alexis is a great dog, loves to be around people, is good with children, and gets along with other dogs. Alexis also loves to snuggle and will be your best buddy. Alexis will definitely need a 6 ft fence and a family that will be home with her during the day to give her lots of attention and exercise.  Alexis does well with new people in the home and does not have food aggression with other dogs.  She just wants LOVE.   Alexis was spayed on 12/12/2022 and is up to date on all her shots. Meet Arrow: Arrow aka Zachary is up for adoption because his current adopter is returning him because he moved to a new home and he can only have 3 dog’s and no Pit breeds. The adopter adopted Arrow and his sister over a year ago and is keeping his sister because she looks less scary then Arrow. Adopter also took in two small dogs a friend of his had to rehome and so now he wants Arrow gone. Our hearts are breaking for Arrow and we need a loving home for Arrow. Arrow has a high prey drive and is very rambunctious and when he smells something he wants to pursue, he will!!  Children in home should be over 12 years of age as he doesn't realize his size and strenght. Arrow is a Bully mix that is 2.5yrs and weighs 60-65lbs.  Arrow is a lovable and energetic guy. Arrow loved to play with his sister and run around the yard. He is somewhat obiendiant and easily trainable. He is housebroken and is up to date on all his shots and neutered. Arrow loves people but will need to be an only pet. Meet Augustus: Augustus is a 10 week old (as of December 28, 2022) beagle/rottweiler mix that weighs about 12 pounds. Augustus and his litter mates (Donna Lou, Max, Cindy Lou, Grinch, Betty Lou, Crumpet, Lou Lou, and Martha May) were luckily rescued  by us after their owners threw them out in the cold at 5 weeks old because they were too much to handle. We are so thankful they were found and we were able to get them safe and warm! Their mom (Holly) has just recently been adopted! This sweet Whoville litter is a group of your typical happy, loving, curious puppies! They are all set up to do well with other dogs, cats, and kids. Meet Bagel: Bagel is an 8 week old (as of January 2, 2023) lab/pit mix (best guess) that weighs about 10 pounds. Bagel and his litter mates (T-Bone, Cupcake, Tater Tot, Ramen, Pringle, Meatball, Creampuff and Dumpling) were born under someone’s home in the south.  Their mom was a neighborhood stray in the city and they were following their mom around looking for food when animal control was called to get them to safety.  They now are in safe homes and have full bellies! This sweet food litter is a group of your typical happy, loving, curious puppies! They are all set up to do well with other dogs, cats, and kids. As a puppy, Bagel will need consistency while working on his house training. We would love for Bagel to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play! Meet Bally: Bally is a 7 month old (as of December 2022) lab/terrier mix that weighs about  20 pounds. Bally was found in Byhalia, MS. A business owner had many dogs outside on his property to protect his trucks, but unfortunately they were not fixed and he ended up with many unwanted puppies. The parents of the pups are to be fixed while we try to find these little ones good homes. When we first got the pups, they were unsocialized, but their foster did a great job of bringing them around and now they're ready for their fur-ever homes. They are still a little bit shy of strangers, but warm up after a short time to form a bond and then are the sweetest, loving puppies. Bally would love a home to feel safe and warm in! We would love for Bally to go to a home with a fenced in yard. Bally is working on his house training and will need continued work. Bally is up to date on his shots and is neutered. Meet Banjo! Banjo is a 4 year old Plott Hound mix weighing about 65 pounds. He is a beautiful boy with his brindle coat and white chest and markings and he has the most expressive face. Banjo is a sweetheart and a fragile soul that likes to be told he is a good boy and he just wants to please. Banjo loves to be active and is a high energy dog. He enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and playing. Most of all, Banjo enjoys cuddling with his people on the couch. Banjo struggles with confidence and anxiety issues, but has been working on these things with a trainer and will do wonderfully in the right home while continuing his hard work and with an adopter that is knowledgeable with anxious dogs. Banjo is reactive to new situations and he is learning to come out of his shell and be more engaged in the world and not so selective and nervous around strangers. Banjo is also very food motivated! Banjo is well versed in obedience training and knows sit, crawl, down, stay, bed, speak, and roll over. He is muzzle trained, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Banjo will not chew on bones or play with toys and his fosters are working on getting him to learn what toys are. Banjo would be best in a home with a single person or couple. Banjo gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly, he will play with them, and could do well in a home with multiple dogs but needs the proper iand slow introduction with an experinced dog owner. Banjo would prefer a home with no children and likes women more than men. Beard and his litter mates (Ted, Roy, Higgins, Sassy, Rebecca and Keeley) were surrendered by their owners when they just couldn’t care for them. This adorable litter lost 3 siblings to parvo, but we are so thankful the rest have their chance at an amazing life full of love! Meet Bertram: Bertram is a 9 week old (as of January 7, 2023) retriever/hound/boxer mix that weighs 12 pounds. Bertram and his litter mates (Luke and Zuri) were abandoned in a crate outside of a local animals shelter. This was a litter of 5, but 2 unfortunately didn’t make it through parvo. We are so thankful these 3 cuties are healthy and ready for their fur-ever homes! This sweet litter is a group of your typical happy, loving, curious puppies! Bertram has a handsome dark face and eyes. He is very intelligent; he will sit back and observe before he heads into the mischief but he will be the first one to figure it out. Bertram greatly enjoys running in the yard, but he also loves to curl up on the couch with you. He listens very well, he is a people pleaser and a little praise will go a long way. Bette gets along with people and dogs, but prefers not to share her food with other pooches. Bitsy and her sister Suki were spotted by a good samaritan running around a vacant lot and living under an abandoned house. They were both under nourished and had severe skin issues.  Bitsy was in fact almost completely bald when she was turned over to rescue.  However, after being in loving foster homes, she is now a healthy, happy, attractive puppy! Meet Bowser: Bowser is a 7 month old (as of January 2023) hound mix (best guess) that weighs 30 pounds. Bowser was a starving stray in northern Mississippi when he was luckily picked up by one of the Mutt Menagerie team. He was fed, dewormed and brought back to health and is now ready for adoption. Bowser is a very playful and affectionate dog. Bowser still has his puppy personality and craves attention from people or other dogs. Bowser is house trained with a doggie door. We would love for Bowser to go to a home with a fenced in yard. Bowser is up to date on his shots and is scheduled to be neutered on 1/26/23.
