Meet Alexis: Alexis is a beautiful Hound mix that is around 18 months old and 45 pounds. Alexis and her one baby were found in Memphis on the side of the road eating trash when Charlie's Crusaders rescued them. Alexis is now being fostered in PA and is ready for her forever home!    Alexis is a great dog, loves to be around people, is good with children, and gets along with other dogs. Alexis also loves to snuggle and will be your best buddy. Alexis will definitely need a 6 ft fence and a family that will be home with her during the day to give her lots of attention and exercise.  Alexis does well with new people in the home and does not have food aggression with other dogs.  She just wants LOVE.   Alexis was spayed on 12/12/2022 and is up to date on all her shots. Meet Angel: Angel is around 9 months old (as of January 2023) and guessed to be a lab mix that weighs around 30 pounds. We don’t think she will get much larger, so whatever breed mixture is in there, there must be something on the smaller side, too! Angel and her siblings were found roaming a neighborhood and they needed to be brought to safety. Angel is currently safe in an outside kennel, but we are hoping to get her into a loving home soon. Ange is shy after her scary time on the streets and will hide, but she does comes around. Ange likes belly scratches and being petted when held. Angel will need a home with patience and someone willing to work with her and show her that she is loved and safe. Angel has been fine with the other dogs at her foster’s place. Angel is not yet house trained or leash trained. Angel will need a home with a fenced in yard. Angel is up to date on her shots and spayed. Meet Arrow: Arrow aka Zachary is up for adoption because his current adopter is returning him because he moved to a new home and he can only have 3 dog’s and no Pit breeds. The adopter adopted Arrow and his sister over a year ago and is keeping his sister because she looks less scary then Arrow. Adopter also took in two small dogs a friend of his had to rehome and so now he wants Arrow gone. Our hearts are breaking for Arrow and we need a loving home for Arrow. Arrow has a high prey drive and is very rambunctious and when he smells something he wants to pursue, he will!!  Children in home should be over 12 years of age as he doesn't realize his size and strenght. Arrow is a Bully mix that is 3.5yrs and weighs 60-65lbs.  Arrow is a lovable and energetic guy. Arrow loved to play with his sister and run around the yard. He is somewhat obiendiant and easily trainable. He is housebroken and is up to date on all his shots and neutered. Arrow loves people but will need to be an only pet. Arrow will need a home with a fenced in yard and a family with big/strong dog experience. Meet Athena:  Athena is a sweet 2 year old Boxer mix. Athena  and her 8 puppies were surrendered by their owner when he could not care for them any longer. Athena is very friendly and very loving. Athena is very playful and loves to play with her foster brother. Athena gets along with other dogs, cats, people and children. Athena will need a fenced in yard or dog experience. Meet Bailey: Bailey is around 2 years old (as of February 2023) and guessed to be a chihuahua mix that weighs about 12 pounds. Bailey’s owner recently passed away and we stepped in to try to find this sweet girl a loving home. Bailey is a sweetie who likes people and other dogs. Bailey is house trained and she will raise her little paw to signal that she needs to go outside. Meet Bally: Bally is a 7 month old (as of December 2022) lab/terrier mix that weighs about  20 pounds. Bally was found in Byhalia, MS. A business owner had many dogs outside on his property to protect his trucks, but unfortunately they were not fixed and he ended up with many unwanted puppies. The parents of the pups are to be fixed while we try to find these little ones good homes. When we first got the pups, they were unsocialized, but their foster did a great job of bringing them around and now they're ready for their fur-ever homes. They are still a little bit shy of strangers, but warm up after a short time to form a bond and then are the sweetest, loving puppies. Bally would love a home to feel safe and warm in! We would love for Bally to go to a home with a fenced in yard. Bally is working on his house training and will need continued work. Bally is up to date on his shots and is neutered. Meet Banjo! Banjo is a 5 year old Plott Hound mix weighing about 65 pounds. He is a beautiful boy with his brindle coat and white chest and markings and he has the most expressive face. Banjo is a sweetheart and a fragile soul that likes to be told he is a good boy and he just wants to please. Banjo loves to be active and is a high energy dog. He enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and playing. Most of all, Banjo enjoys cuddling with his people on the couch. Banjo struggles with confidence and anxiety issues, but has been working on these things with a trainer and will do wonderfully in the right home while continuing his hard work and with an adopter that is knowledgeable with anxious dogs. Banjo is reactive to new situations and he is learning to come out of his shell and be more engaged in the world and not so selective and nervous around strangers. Banjo is also very food motivated! Banjo is well versed in obedience training and knows sit, crawl, down, stay, bed, speak, and roll over. He is muzzle trained, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Banjo will not chew on bones or play with toys and his fosters are working on getting him to learn what toys are. Banjo would be best in a home with a single person or couple. Banjo gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly, he will play with them, and could do well in a home with multiple dogs but needs the proper iand slow introduction with an experinced dog owner. Banjo would prefer a home with no children and likes women more than men. Meet Beard: Beard is a 13 week old (as of January 10, 2023) Great Dane / Catahoula mix (best guess) that weighs about 17 pounds. Beard and his litter mates (Ted, Roy, Higgins, Sassy, Rebecca and Keeley) were surrendered by their owners when they just couldn’t care for them. This adorable litter lost 3 siblings to parvo, but we are so thankful the rest have their chance at an amazing life full of love! This litter is full of heart and are your typical happy, loving, curious puppies! As a puppy, Beard will need consistency while working on his house training. We would love for Beard to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play! Beard is up to date on his puppy shots and will be neutered when age appropriate. Meet Bellagio: Bellagio is a 7 month old (as of December 2022) lab/terrier mix that weighs 20 pounds. Bellagio was found in Byhalia, MS. Meet Bertram: Bertram is a 13 week old (as of Feb 2, 2023) retriever/hound/boxer mix that weighs around 12 pounds. Bertram and his litter mates (Luke and Zuri) were abandoned in a crate outside of a local animal shelter. This was a litter of 5, but 2 unfortunately didn’t make it through parvo. We are so thankful these 3 cuties are healthy and ready for their fur-ever homes! This sweet litter is a group of your typical happy, loving, curious puppies! Bertram has a handsome dark face and eyes. He is very intelligent; he will sit back and observe before he heads into the mischief but he will be the first one to figure it out. Bertram greatly enjoys running in the yard, but he also loves to curl up on the couch with you. He listens very well, he is a people pleaser and a little praise will go a long way. He will be an amazing best friend! As a puppy, Bertram will need consistency while working on his house training. Meet Bette Davis: Bette Davis is a 3-4 year old female terrier-lab mix who is 40-50 lbs. Bette is a fun and energetic girl who loves water of all kinds! Bette gets along with people and dogs, but prefers not to share her food with other pooches. Bette is the life of the party and wants nothing more than your time and attention, though she wouldn't turn down a pool (kiddie or otherwise). Better is up to date on all of her vaccines, has been spayed, and is really to find her forever family. Meet Bitsy: Bitsy is a 9 month old (as of Feb 2023) hound mix (best guess) that weighs 25 pounds. Bitsy and her sister Suki were spotted by a good samaritan running around a vacant lot and living under an abandoned house. They were both under nourished and had severe skin issues.  Bitsy was in fact almost completely bald when she was turned over to rescue.  However, after being in loving foster homes, she is now a healthy, happy, attractive puppy! Bitsy will need a home with a fenced in yard. Bitsy is up to date on her shots and spayed. Meet Bowser: Bowser is a 7 month old (as of January 2023) hound mix (best guess) that weighs 30 pounds. Bowser was a starving stray in northern Mississippi when he was luckily picked up by one of the Mutt Menagerie team. He was fed, dewormed and brought back to health and is now ready for adoption. Bowser is a very playful and affectionate dog. Bowser still has his puppy personality and craves attention from people or other dogs. Bowser is house trained with a doggie door. We would love for Bowser to go to a home with a fenced in yard. Bowser is up to date on his shots and is scheduled to be neutered on 1/26/23.
