Sweet Bliss is a beautiful young 1.5-2.5yo Belgian Malinois who was saved from a backyard breeder. Bliss was used as a breeder and just weaned her litter of puppies mid December. She can be hesitant of strangers as a mal typically is but with a sweet voice and some treats, she warms up quickly. Eager to please, Bliss takes direction very well and craves praise. She has a calm sweet demeaner and has no issues just chillin with her people. Bliss has an excellent nose and would be a great canidate for anyone wanting to do scent training. She does best with older children but she does get overwhelmed a bit with small children. Bliss seems to do ok with other animals such as cats, gaots, and livestock and is even fond of chickens. She walks well on a leash and is house broken. She is crate trained as well and has a current obsession of going in there for her own breaks! She has met other dogs of varying sizes and so far seems unbothered by them. She would do best with someone who is home a lot and who wants to give her lots of attention. Anyone who adopts Bliss will get a loyal and sweet champion. Can you say unicorn mal?!   If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Bree is a very friendly and sweet 6-7 year old Belgian Malinois. She knows, come, sit, lay down, leave it and may know more commands we have not discovered in the short period of time she has been in MAD Rescue.  She loves to go for walks and walks nicely on a leash.  She loves toys, especially her squeaky ball, and plays a mean game of tug.  She is the momma to the Arabian Nights Litter in Georgia, 3 boys and one girl.  We believe the Arabian Nights will be Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd Mix and look forward to doing a DNA testing. Bree is good with older children and other dogs, as always slow introductions to set everyone up for a success.  She has not been tested her with small dogs or cats.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Briar was found with her sister in a back alley by her current foster.  Her sister has found her furrever home, and now it's Briar's turn! Briar is a Belgian malinois and boxer puppy - what a combo! She's affectionate and loyal to her handler. She aims to please and loves be cuddled up with her foster family. However, the world can be a scary place, and she can be shy with new people but does warm up quickly.  Briar would thrive with a experienced handler who has the time to work with her. Compared to her sister, Briar is more affectionate and sticks with you like glue - velcro dog anyone!? Briar is doing well in the foster's home with two small dogs and one extra large dog, and does great even with her 5yo.  Though she is a mal - so she will continute to grow and is best suiting in a home with older kids so she doesn't accidentally know over a youngin' during play time.  Briar is doing great with cate training as she's already getting the hang of it! Potty training is currently a work in progress, but she's a quick learner, true to the mal in her. Briar will be an awesome hiking buddy for her future handler with some leash training, but may need some confidence building if you're hiking to waterfalls as she's currently so scared of what that she even barks at the rain!  Briar is a sweet dog, full of personality, she's a wonderful companion. Please apply to adopt if you think she could be the mal mix for you! Meet Bullet.  Affectionally called "Bullie," he is the sweetest dog with a wonderful temperament, and an all-around goofy fellow.  He is a gorgeous one year-old neutered Malinois (possibly GSD mix, which lends to his goofy personality) that was owner surrendered because his family was moving. Staff reported he was delivered to the shelter in a wire crate strapped onto the back of an open trailer. Being accepted by MAD is the best thing to ever happen for Bullet as it became apparent that he was unvetted but thankfully healthy, underfed, and had never been inside a home or vehicle. As such, he is quickly learning leash manners and house manners. Riding in a vehicle is still a challenge for him, but his foster mom is working with him on this as well.  Staff also said he had a young boy upset to be losing his best friend who must have loved him dearly and played with him for hours. Bullet loves to play hard and he leans against you for affection before racing off to find a toy for you to toss to him. His favorite thing to do when you let him out of his crate is to take a biiiiiig stretch and slump down on your feet for belly rubs. He is a handsome, fun loving guy who is learning fast and has the temperament and talent to be the best dog you ever had. Bullet recently went through a two week board and train to evaluate what he knew, his skillset and to really get to the bottom of his nerves around riding in a vehicle. Watch his video! Bullie is currently working on not showing a redirection when he is overwhelmed in new situations. His redirect inlcudes jumping up and or putting an arm gently in his mouth. Meet Delta!  If only she could tell us about her adventures!  She was found as a stray along I-95 in Virginia. It took 3 days for a wonderful group of local animal rescuers to trap and capture her.  No chip and no one claimed her. She's moved to her foster and we'll be getting her fully vetted and learning more about her personality. SHe is heartworm positive and her treatements are expected to be finished in November. She will be available to go to her furever home around that time. From what we know at this time, she is perfectly suited for a sport home or even drug K9! This 9-year-old GSD/Malinois cross is the sweetest, most loving, most loyal companion you’ll ever meet. She was originally pulled from a California shelter, where she was taken after serious neglect. Back then, Donna didn’t trust many people. Who could blame her? Luckily, she’s grown past all that and is blossoming into the amazing dog she was always meant to be. She has bonded hard and fast to her fosters. Although she's initially suspicious of visitors, she warms up as long as they go slow, let her set the pace and reward her approaches with tasty treats. Donna thrives on affection, praise and treats, and she'll happily do anything her people ask of her. She loves spending time with her foster mom and her boyfriend, going for walks or car excursions, exploring new places and chilling with her people at home. She is a champion snuggler and likes to fall asleep spooning next to her foster mom or draping herself over her. Donna walks perfectly on a leash, is crate trained and nondestructive, sits nicely for pawdicures and ear cleaning, and is professionally obedience trained. She loves learning new things and enjoys treats, chew toys, stuffies and frozen raw chicken quarters. Donna will thrive best with an experienced owner or couple with either no kids or older kids who understand boundaries. She is easily redirected from cats and has fostered with several. In the past, she has shown some prey drive toward small livestock. With dogs, she's selective so she'd do well as the only dog in her home. If there is another dog, Donna would most enjoy either a calmly curious puppy she can mold to her or a mellow older dog who gives her space. Are you ready for love? Donna is located in Illinois, but transport can be arranged for the right home. Apply for her today.   If you are interested in adopting this pet, please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic. Finely is a true puppy Maligator. He was scheduled to be euthanized in a central California shelter. He was found as stray and is adjusting really well to home life. Foster mom cannot believe why someone would not want him since he is really just a big energetic puppy who just wants to be loved! He is very sweet and green. He is learning very quickly and knew his name w/in a few tries. He is starting to learn Sitz, Platz, Bleib and Place. He walks pretty nicely on leash. He's working on potty and crate training. He loves his handler so much that he recalls easily. He is sooooo excited when food comes out he can barely hold still. He's doing great with hand feeding and figuring out engagement. He's learning to wait for his turn. He is motivated by food, affection and toys. He loves to tug. He is more focused on other dogs than balls when they are out playing.  He plays well with dogs and makes new friends at stores and while on walks. He can get a bit over excited when on walks but learning how to walk by other dogs. He loves to wrestle but can also back off when the other dog doesn't like his playstyle. He's great around food or toys, no resource guarding at all. He is very much a velcro dog and doesn't like leaving the handler's side. He would love a playful fur-sibling b/c he loves to wrestle and run around with him. He isn't really that interested in toys other than how they relate to other dogs. He would rather grab a ball and get a dog to chase him than focus on the ball itself. He does also have an off switch - after he's been exercised and mentally exhausted.  He will make someone very very happy! He just needs someone dedicated to show him the ropes! He loves running through the forest, so someone outdoorsy and/or active would be ideal for him! He is pretty agile even in puppy mode and can jump! He doesn't try to jump fences just likes leaping.  He is untested with kids but he is quite mouthy and jumpy so would say no young kids. He is untested with cats but had fun chasing chicken [not to hurt just looked like he had fun chasing], so best no cats.  All dogs come with a Fi Collar and one year subscription.  Follow her on FaceBook: #madlovefinley If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Let me tell you a little story about MAD Fury aka Foo-Foo, Monkey, Munchkin, Pumpkin, Jelly Bean, Gremlin: She was scheduled to die. The shelter didn’t understand her trauma. Being on the street as a smaller dog is tough. She had to learn how to survive and she’s very good at it. It translates in her being very vocal about needing her space - from people and dogs. It worked, she survived … until she was caught! MAD took her in because we saw more than the scared scary dog. And she is SO much more!! She’s been on a journey with her foster from Idaho to Utah to Colorado and currently in Washington. She adjusts really well to new places and an inconsistent schedule. She’s been the easiest foster when it comes to house manners and off leash hiking! She’s perfect in the house (aside from the occasional snatching of food on counter). She makes the cutest face when she wants something. You can just look at her and she starts wiggling her tail! She will patiently wait for your return and be so excited to see you…whether you’re gone for a minute or 5 hours! She will make you feel loved! She has worked on her resource guarding and she’s a lot better. She’s learning to wait for her food. However, this needs to be taken into consideration when you have other dogs. Although she’s very vocal she never gets into a serious fight with her foster fur sister. They have a perfect dynamic which she will need in her forever home - she needs a sibling who is neutral, confident and non-reactive. She needs a sibling who won’t fight her over a toy or food but rather walks away. She will need a sibling who is confident enough to not get bothered by her display when they meet - she demands boundaries through bark and hackling up. However, after about 30 min she will engage in play. She loves wrestling and playing tug-a-war with her fur brother!! She would love a furry friend! She just needs time to warm up and know that the other dog isn’t a threat!  Even though she can look like an evil gremlin when she bares her teeth and hackles up, it’s all show. That’s how she talks, plays and asks for space. She loves chewing on hands and tries to move your hands around when she plays. She doesn’t have a soft mouth but she also doesn’t want to hurt. That’s just how she plays and communicates. Yes, she may bark and hackle up at people to create distance but really she wants cuddles and love…she just needs to make sure you’re safe and to be trusted. She needs someone who understands her and advocates for her! She is great in crowds and can walk through it without any issue…she mostly just gets intimidated when someone pays attention to her. Please understand where she is coming from, she may never be that friendly super social dog. She's met dogs on hikes and after a bit of walking together she does well but proper introductions are a must.  At home, she is perfect. While her foster mom works from home, she sleeps, sometimes comes to get pets. She’s just perfect as a buddy for your work at home time! She is territorial like all working breeds and will bark at anything outside the house/car/fence, so if you like a protective dog, she's your girl.  She loves going on outings and has no problem going on 8 hours derives cross country! She loves sticking her head out the window! She loves putting her head on a shoulder creeping forward to give kisses. Sometimes she jumps in the trunk to yell at the wipers. She loves water and hikes! She loves running around in the forest, at the beach, in a field etc and will need that in her future! When she starts running at full speed she looks like a torpedo dashing through the field/woods! She has great recall - absolutely loves running back to her hooman! She always seeks out water and is a strong swimmer. She will need someone active - biking would be fun for her, possibly - she needs to run! She will also need a yard - you don’t want too experience her zoomies in an apartment. She’s praise, love, food and toy motivated! She has tried Scent work and the trainer was astounded by her natural talent!!! She would thrive in that world! She's currently trying out Barn Hunt...she's a bit spooked by the rat in the cage and the new environment but is warming up to it.  Things she is learning: sit, down, place, come, stay, off, touch, break. She doesn’t like to be in a submissive position like down…so that’s going a bit slower. Waiting before exciting house/car. Waiting her turn. Sitting to get collar/leash on. Heel - she’s pretty good on leash but doesn’t have a pretty heel. Auto sit in heel. Quirks: she doesn’t like to get picked up and can panic, so slowly getting her used to that. Terrible with nail clipping. Has lots of energy to burn so sometimes she just runs back and forth in the house. She makes a lot of noises. She barks at the car window closing/opening. She whips her head around when a fast truck goes by. She loves giving kisses but please be warned she doesn’t ask for consent and is quite intense with her loving! Absolute Velcro dog - will follow you into the shower and lick you dry after. Barks and hackels at strange dogs and people as well as when she is excited and in play mode.  She is so ready for a loving home who understands her and wants to love her. Someone who can see past her tough “pufferfish” (hackles, bark) exterior and learn about the sweet, loving dog underneath! She deserves a home where she can thrive! She needs an experienced handler who can set her up for success.  This home should be experienced with working breeds, have no kids or prey animals. Is your family ready for your next adventure buddy!? Welp, you found her - Gabby is an All Around GEM! Gabby is a Belgian Malinois/GSD mix and estimated about 8mo old.  She came into the rescue severely emaciated and ill, but she's now got a clean bill of health ready to find her furrever home! Gabby is an endearing, naturally confident, happy-go-lucky unicorn mal.  She generally ignores small animals - even bunnies - so can likely be in a home with small dogs and/or cats with proper introductions.  She's great with female and male big dogs alike, and even settles right in with a big group of dogs at her first service training class in December!  She's overall a low drive, but high energy pup.  She can keep up with you on your wildest adventures and be down to try anything new, yet be just as stoked to soak up your loves cuddling on the couch afterwards. Are you looking for an all-arounder Mal?  If so, don't hesitate to apply to adopt Gabby! We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
