If adopting a dog in the City of Steelville Pound: Contact Crawford Co E911 at 573-775-4911 ext 1 advise you need to contact Steelville Animal Control reference to adoption. To adopt you must bring a photo ID, proof of address, and adoption fees. Adoption fees: Males - $45.00, Females - $65.00, will $20 returned within 90 days with a licensed Veterinarian showing proof of spay Dogs can only be adopted Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Except for HOLIDAY's it will be the next business day. NO ADOPTIONS ON WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAY'S (If City Hall is closed there will be NO ADOPTION) Visitations Only on weekends must be scheduled.
