They were left to fend for themselves and they would have died had no one stepped up. He would make more progress faster in a home where he is the only one or there is only one other dog so that he can get more dedicated time. My mom, my siblings and I were all surrendered to a high kill shelter when we were rescued from these nice people. I have one sister and myself that are still waiting for our forever homes.
