Hello, my name is Abigail. I found myself suddenly dumped in a city park with 4 other kittens (including my sister Amanda - also available). We were so hungry and confused. Fortunately a lady noticed us and popped us all into a carrier and we found ourselves inside with food, comfy beds and toys. What a relief. I am such a friendly, trusting and loving girl. I love to be stroked and held and I purr happily when I receive any attention. My foster mom says I love to do head bumps and be rubbed from head to tail! I will follow you all over. At times I am more interested in getting love than food! I have also begun playing with toys and seem to prefer soft cat nip toys. I am comfortable with cats, have met dogs in my foster home, but I have not been tested with children. show less

Hello, my name is Amanda. I found myself suddenly dumped in a city park with 4 other kittens (including my sister Abigail - also available). We were so hungry and confused. Round faced Amelia is about 3 years old. She had a very rough start to life and has been through so much, therefore she is very timid and skeptical of humans. Amelia now plays with the laser and with toys when she thinks humans aren’t watching. However she is still scared of humans for the most part. Believe it or not, this is progress from when she first came into our care (hiding 24/7, not knowing how to play, when her next meal was, and never feeling consistently secure and safe). We know that with the right adopter who can provide consistent and patient care for Amelia that she’ll blossom into the confident happy girl that is buried beneath her traumatic past.    Amelia very much loves her other kitty roommates, and they’ve helped her tremendously. They’re her therapy cats, if you will. Because of this, we want Amelia to get adopted with one of her roommates. (Sophia, Kenzi, Konrad, wisp, Stache, or Millie)   While we can’t undo Amelia’s past, we can and will continue to help build her confidence and search tirelessly for the right family for her. Sweet Bruno is one of nearly 30 cats rescued from a hoarding situation. He is about 3 years old and has had limited contact with humans, has not known real love, comfort, or safety....until now. :) Bruno lovessss Temptations treats and responds well to them being used as positive reinforcement. He even eats them from a trusted hand now! Bruno has made lots of progress with us and his future is looking bright! Bruno seems to gain confidence from watching other confident kitties interact with humans first. We'd like his new home to have a confident, friendly, accepting cat to help him gain more confidence and friendship, or for him to get adopted with one of his fellow rescued friends. Bruno will need a patient foster/adoptive parent who can give him all the time he needs to adjust, sit with him consistently, not force affections and let him come around in his own way. Consitency and positive reinforcement are key. Ask us about some of the other rescued hoarding cats who made a complete turnaround! :) show less

Hi, I’m Clover, and I am no ordinary cat. I am seeking a loving home where I can be appreciated for who I am, I am more than just a pretty face: my loving nature and extreme intelligence will capture your heart… My story is a sad one. Last year I was surrendered to Happy Tails after my original owner (who called me Winston) could no longer meet my special needs. She loved me but her circumstances changed drastically over the months, and the little Bengal kitten she pampered during the initial Covid lockdown quickly grew into a lonely adult cat: one who couldn’t bear being alone when she had to go back to the office. More recently, I’ve been fostered by a wonderful couple: two people who love me VERY much and speak fluent Bengal cat. Initially, I was terrified of the cats that already lived there and to this day, I startle easily. Even hearing cars outside the window can cause me to bolt in terror. I can’t help it: I’m a sensitive boy. As time passed on, I grew to love my foster parents. They read books to me so I could get used to their voices. I realized slowly they were here only to help me- and they were so kind to me!  They have calming music in my room, and they even give me fun puzzle toys to play with. I love them and love getting pets, playing with toys, racing around like a little maniac on my giant Hamster wheel, and eating yummy treats. Unfortunately, I DON’T like the other cats at their house no matter how much my foster mama tries to tell me it’s okay.  I need a home where I am the beloved one and only, with no other pets or little kids around. Kids are scary, sorry not sorry!   Like most Bengals, I bond closely with my humans once I get my bearings. I need constant attention, gentle reassurance, patience, a good sense of humor, and plenty of exercises. Do you work from home? I’d be the perfect home office companion and I promise I won’t micromanage. Okay, maybe once I’m settled in, I can rearrange all your files for you, just kidding, I’ll be your very best friend in the entire world once you have my trust. ·        Sound like your dream cat? Here are a few more fun facts about me. I LOVE Amazon Music’s playlists of calming kittycat tunes, Rachel Ray & Jackpot cat treats, puzzle toys, and a regular routine to boost my confidence. Wet food is YUMMY, and good for male cat urinary health, a GIANT litter box (I like to stretch those long legs of mine!) I am also learning Clicker Training and it’s been great fun. ·        Things I DON’T like - other cats or dogs (they stink!), being held (yeah, that’s a big old NOPE from me, but I WILL crawl into your lap when and only when I am good and ready), and being bored. When I am bored, I have the Bengal tendency to boldly explore places you won’t likely want me exploring. Sweet, timid, little Millie had a rough beginning, but is now thriving in our care! If you want a quiet companion, who enjoys alone time, gets along with other cats, and is slowly coming into her own-Millie is your girl. Well....quiet except when it comes to meal time, she will let you know she is ready, loud and clear! She can really hold a note 😂🎶🎤 She is still learning to trust humans, and is making slow progress every day. We see such a desire and curiousity in her to want to trust us and let go, she just needs more consistency to do it. Millie enjoys window time, giving slow blinks,  sitting nearby, and yowl meowing when her food isn't delivered quick enough! She LOVES weruva wet treats and they're helping her come out of her shell. Millie keeps getting overlooked because of her shyness and attention needed to help her adjust. We'd like Millie to get adopted with one of her roommates or go to a home with a polite, human-friendly cat companion who can help her adjust.
