Monty lived with children all his life but there was something about the neighbor kid that he did not like. So when that child came over Monty nipped at them. No skin break and no issues before or after but the neighbor threatened court and forced Monty to have to leave. He does well with his fosters 1 yr old grandson, does well with other dogs, doesn't seem to mind cats. Monty is house trained and crate trained. We were asked to take him in to see if we could have a better chance of finding him a home before the shelter was forced to put him down for lack of space. Ozzy is house trained, not a fan of the crate but once you are gone from the home he quiets down and relaxes. He does well with other dogs, his energy would be better with older children who are more experienced walkers, but he does love kids. Just doesn't know his size or energy level.
