She is the QUEEN... you live in her kingdom... you will do her bidding and abide by her rules!  She will give you all of the love she has and she really enjoys spending time with her people - ONCE SHE GETS TO KNOW YOU!  More often than not, if you are sitting or lying down she will be close by, preferably using you as a pillow.   Laps really do make nice, warm, cozy napping spots. She is the Queen after all... and wants to be treated as such. She is a playful girl.  She still acts like a kitten when it comes to playing and small toys she can swat around seem to be her favorites. When not playing, she enjoys lounging at the top of her cat tree so she can see everything.  She likes to survey her surroundings and see what is going on. So, really, the best of both worlds = playful and chill!   She needs to make sure everything is as it should be in her little kingdom!   Abby needs to be the only cat in the home--she does not get along with dogs or other cats.  She, and she alone, is QUEEN OF THE CASTLE!   She will be a wonderful companion to the person who will commit to loving her and accept her terms. She does well with adults and should be okay with older children who understand to take things on Abby's time.  A little patience goes a long way with her - she may be a bit shy and timid at the first meeting - but once she gets to know you she will be "all in"!  Until she gets to know you and trusts you... she will be standoffish and likely give you the eye.  If you move too fast for her comfort, she will swat at your hand.  Remember... her kingdom, her rules. Aggie is a very sweet and friendly 6-month-old kitten.  She is confident, curious, and affectionate.  She loves, loves, LOVES to have her head scratched.   She doesn't seem to mind being held while you take her on a tour of her surroundings so she can see the things that are up high.   She enjoys a soft, squishy cat bed.   We do not know how she is with dogs but we believe she should do fine with a proper introduction to a kitty-friendly dog(s).   She shows interest when she sees one and she does not bow-up or hiss.    Believe it or not, she came to us with a litter of kittens. Kittens having kittens! She still has some growing to do but she is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.  She is ready to be pampered and loved!! Amelia has the best ears and such beautiful expressions on her gorgeous face!  Don't you agree?  She is medium size (~48 lbs) and would love a home where she is given a lot of opportunity to play and be a pup. She loves playing with her foster fur family and would do great with another playful pup. She loves snuggles and play time with her humans.   She loves going for walks, is curious, eager to please her family, very smart and treat motivated.  She is learning good leash manners but does pull if she sees something that excites her. We use positive reinforcement training with treats, and she is responding well. It is a great part of her wonderful daily routine.   She is also content being outside and soaking up all the sunshine.  A fenced yard is required for Amelia; she needs it to run, play and burn of energy.  Another dog isn't required for Ameilia; however, a fun, furry sibling to play with would be great fit for this young, playful, happy girl! Her new family will need to make sure they have the appropriate amount of time to spend with her burning off her happy excitment. She loves all kinds of toys, so stock up on a variety for her to play with. Probably not a perfect apartment pup as she will bark when she hears noises outside.   Not only is she dog friendly, she was tested at the shelter and was curious about cats. Her foster kitty sibling has not given Amelia the opportunity to interact. She will chase if they run, and she likely wants to play.  So a family with dog-savvy cats should be ok.  Amelia is also good with kids and lives with 2 little ones in her foster family (2 and 4 year olds).  She knows no stranger and loves everyone she meets.    Once she has burned off her energy, Amelia is really a bit of a couch potato, so someone to sit with her and watch, TV, read and relax would be wonderful. She loves spending time with her humans, too!!  Ameilia is doing both crate and house trained; no worries there :). She sleeps in her crate night.    Amelia isn't quite sure about the lawn mowers and they scare her a bit. She has really become a road trip fan and loves going on car rides, so don't hesitate to take her with you. DOB 09/27/2021. Annie is a quiet girl that would like someone who will snuggler her, let her crawl up next to you and lay across your lap.  She has a gentle and sweet personality.  She would be fine with a not so super active person because she is fine chilling out and is a bit of a couch potato.   She is quiet and happy to just be with her person.  She would be fine in an apartment, condo and townhome as long as her very special person would take her out 4-5 times a day to go for a nice stroll and make sure she has the appropriate number of potty breaks.  She would likely prefer having someone home more than away, so someone who works from or goes to school remotely would be a good fit.   Annie’s ideal home would probably be her as the only pet. She’s a sweety and would do well as your main priority.  She is ok with some dogs but needs a slow introduction.  Older kids who are familar with dogs would be fine in Annie's new home but not young, rowdy young ones as she likes a quieter lifestyle.   Annie is learning what life is like with lots of new people, places, pups and new things to do.  She is still shy and needs someone who is patient, understanding, and who will go slow.  Talking about going places, Annie does enjoy car rides and would like to take rides with you, so she would love for you to pack her up and take her with you.   DOB 12/30/2020. Aspen would be an awesome addition to your family! When you see her you will see she has the most beautiful brown eyes that sparkle in the sun against her gleaming, sleek black coat.  She has a big, bright smile guaranteed to brighten your day with two great ears that are most often found - one going up and one going out. What's not to love??   Aspen is very smart, gentle, and loving. She gets along with other young, playful dogs and would love another fun, furry sibling in her new home.  This girl is also good with kids. She plays with her foster sibling who is 3 year old dog off and on most of the day.  Aspen would like a little time being introduced to new dogs and get to know them.  She isn't a huge fan of doggie daycare or dog parks...she likes a smaller playtime environment.   She loves toys of all kinds and has no problem "stealing" them from another pup!  Make sure to have a variety on hand for her to play with! Aspen does not require another pup in the home as long as her family makes sure to give her lots of love, attention and spends a lot of time with her playing and burning off energy.   Give this girl a yard with a 5ft fall fence so she can run and play.  She loves the out-of-doors and has a fun time chasing any of those little creatures like rabbits, cats, squirrels or birds so if they find their way into the yard off she goes giving chase! She would much rather be in the yard then walking on a leash.  She hasn't tried to jump so a 5ft fence should be fine; she will dart at an open gate so keep those latches/doors secured at all times.    Aspen also loves the car so feel free to pack her up when you are on the go. She will be a great road trip companion. Plus she is good with strangers; just a little shy at first.  With some love and attention, her beautiful Aspen smile will greet everyone! She has the shiniest, black coat with the cutest ears that go this way and that. Baxter's cute underbite will make you smile! He has a great personality, and he can be describe as happy, energetic, and loves attention. He loves to be with his people and leans into you for a ear or neck rub! Isn't he what's missing in your family?    He hasn't had an opportunity to be around kitties so he has not been cat tested.  As far as kids go, he is good with older kids/teenagers due to size/energy/playfulness. Baxter is social with people & dogs.   Baxter is crate trained and house trained. Baxter sleeps all night in the crate and is quiet. Since he is still young, he goes out to potty every couple of hours to build his routine and ensure his success.  Someone who is gone for long periods of the day, would not be a great fit for Baxter and his age. He has a few road trips and seems to be fine and adjusting well to the world on wheels. In addition, he is doing well practicing on walking nicely on a leash! He is eager to please and is also easily redirected with positive reinforcement only training. He needs someone to spend time training him as he is still young and learning.   He enjoys to be outside on a sunny day. In addiiton, he LOVES to play in the water so a doggy pool would be an ideal activity for him and his family to play in the back yard! Baxter also loves chew toys to play with and he is sweet and shares toys easily.  He is also up for a good game of tug-o-war!   Little Baxter could be in a condo, apartment or townhown; he does not require a fence. He does; however, require a family that would then commit to lots of daily walks, playtime and activities to burn off his energy.  Remember he loves being outside, so a family that enjoys the outdoors is best suited for him. At his age, he is high energy, so no couch potato for this cutie!  Baxter would do well with a family that has time to walk him a few times a day. He wants to spend time with his humans in the house but tends to be a bit overexcited running around and not setting down if doesn't get the appropriate outside energy burnt off and giving him lots of time for exercise. He would love to join your fun family.    He's DOB 01/22/2022, 35lb male Pug mix. He wakes up every day ready to take on the world! He LOVES to play! He loves his toys and can entertain himself, but would much prefer to play with another pup! His goal in life is to eat, play, play, and play some more and then rest to get ready to play again! He’s very curious and loves to follow his people around to see what else he can learn about! He talks to let you know what’s on his mind and has quite the conversations. He will snuggle up and nap when he’s tired and it’s the sweetest thing ever! Boris is a loving boy and make no mistake about it, he is 100% a little boy!  He likes to tussle with his brother, Boris while trying to take his toys. He keeps the room safe by sitting up high on things so he can watch everything.   This little guy is observant and wants to KNOW what is going on.  When his shift is over he is ready for some napping time with his person.  He is a great kitty and needs a home in which he can be his boyish self! He does like playing with other kitties so he would benefit from having a friend.   His brother, Zorro, is available if you are considering a pair.  He currently lives with 2 dogs that absolutely love cats but he is still unsure about them. Will you BE MY VALENTINE? I love other dogs my size or bigger that have a lot of fun, positive, energy so we can play throughout the day.  So if you have a 5ft fenced in yard and at least one other dog that would love a playful, new brother, let me know!  I will definitely want to have furry friends in my fur-ever home. I also love kids, just no little children due to my size and energy.  I'm eager to please for sure and want to learn!! I like to be with humans and other dogs.  So I really want a family who will have someone home most of the time. Or if you are on the go, that's fine to, I LOVE car rides, so pack me up and take me with you.  I am a great road trip companion.  I love everyone I meet and everyone thinks I am so adorable, so bring me with you, it'll be fun!  I am good on a leash too, but will pull if I see something exciting. Cats really fascinate me and so far, I haven't taken the hint from my foster kitties, that they don't really like me back.  Silly, kitties what's not to like?  So if you have cats make sure they are big dog savvy and can hold their own. I AM A CUDDLER and licker, so I am happy to share lots of love with you!  I will easily bring a smile to your face and "wash your worries" away with lots of kisses.  If you have room for me on your bed, I would love to lay with you at night, but I also don't mind just laying on my own bed in your room. This sweet young, handsome boy is a great size and only about 35lbs. He gets along with everyone he meets. Once you meet him you will fall in love with his gentle playfulness and charming nature.  He is a super soft cuddle bug and can rest his head in your lap for hours on end if you pet him.  He is social fellow and doesn't know a stranger.  He is good with kids as well yet older ones would be best as he could accidently knock over young children.   Are you looking to get more exercise starting in 2023?  Bronco is still young and has playful energy. He does not require a fenced in yard but does require to be walked several times per day. He is very good on the leash, and a great companion if you walk or jog. He could be a pup that could live in an apartment or condo with the proper amount of outside time. He is also a fairly quiet guy, but we are currently working on his crate training due to his barking when left alone in the crate. He is a great walker and will occasionally pull if he sees a squirrel or rabbit.  With that said, if you have 6ft+ solid fence that he could run and play in; he'd love that to burn off his happy energy. Bronco would really like an active family, likely another dog to play with regularly, and a family that likes to snuggle, pet and love on him frequently.   He loves all kinds of toys and wants you to spend some time each day playing together.  He shares his toys nicely with others and just another way he demonstrates his gentle demeanor. He can be a little curious and clumbsy with his long legs and hound nose...it's very cute.    He loves playing with other dogs.  He does not require another dog in the home but it would be fun if he had a furry friend or got to hang out with other pups frequently.  He has foster dogs and likes them very much.  He has not been cat tested but our guess is he would chase them if they ran.  He may do ok with dog savvy cats but that is undetermined. He is also a good companion in the car and is pretty chill.   He isn’t super fond of the crate, but once in it he usually settles down pretty quickly.  Just give him some high value treats to help him get in and get settled.  He would just much rather be hanging out close to you. Like many hounds, he is curious by nature and likes to check everything out. Just keep an eye out or he may get into things he thinks are fun.   He will do a little counter surfing if you aren't keeping an eye on him..."his nose just gots to knows." I’m super affectionate and I love to play. If you’re around, you can bet I’m going to try to convince you to pet me or hold me. I want to help you brush your teeth, do your laundry, or cook dinner. I’m your shadow. I use my good looks and cute meows to my advantage; I know I’m cute and so I’m going to meow at you to guilt trip you into taking me with you around the house. I am a talker; I’m going to try to tell you what I want, or just trill about the house as I wander.   I want and need a lot of attention.   I’m also really good at napping, and I prefer to nap with you. I will try to snuggle you like a cat, so don’t mind me if I come sniffing around your neck or face so I can snuggle you like you’re my momma.   I am a bit of a love nibbler.   When I am feeling especially "lovey" to do try to suckle on your skin.    Foster mom redirects me... and I am learning.  I want to love you like you are a cat, too.   I know I need lot of attention.   A home with another kity for me to ineract with is my dream home!   I’d love a fur buddy to chase and kitty wrestle, so if you have another kitty at home that’s itching for a playmate, I’m happy to volunteer!   Becuase I am a needy guy and I demand a lot of attention a home with someone home a lot would be great, or even a house bunch of human hands would be great, too!    Small children probably aren't a good fit- I am a love nibbler and they might think I am trying to bite them.   I'm not... i am trying to give kitty kisses.
