About Andy

Adoption Fee: $400

My name is Andy, I am 17 months old and my foster Mom says I'm the sweetest, softest most beautiful boy she has ever seen!  I was surrendered by my previous owner because they did not have the resources to properly care for me. I love humans and other dogs, I haven't met a cat, but I think I would be okay.  My 5 year old furry foster brother and I romp around the yard, play tug of war with toys and really enjoy wrestling matches when we're not napping.  I am a love bug and will sit right between my foster parents during movie night.   I'm going to be on the small side, the vet said a good weight for me will be about 52 pounds.  My previous home was a little quiet and I didn't get out much so I can be a little skittish with new things - but my foster brother leads the way and I happily follow!  I walk okay on a leash but initially walks have been short since all these new sounds make me a little nervous.  Mom says I have made amazing progress in just a few weeks!  I don't need a crate and when I'm alone I just go to my safe place and hang out, although I have been known to take paper from trash cans so best to keep some doors closed and cans covered - just to keep me safe.  I know sit and no, but I know I can learn more with coaching.   My ideal home would have a structurally fenced yard and someone home more often than not.  I would love a furry brother or sister to show me the ropes and help me feel safe and secure. Probably should be on the younger side so we can play.  Human kids are great but a bit older so my wiggles don't knock them over!  But I can be an only dog too if I can get exercise and socialization.  The doctor said I didn't get the best luck when it comes to my hips, but I don't let it get in the way of running and having fun.  I am on joint supplements as my hips are weak and I need to keep the rest of my joints safe as I rely on them to compensate for my weak hips.  I'm not in any pain and love life but will need a family to watch me and take care of me as I age.  I have a huge heart and can't wait to find my forever family!

Hi my name is Prince! I am a two year old goldendoodle who is looking for my new furever home. I am a very active and high energy dog who would best fit with a family who can keep up with me. I love to play with toys and can play fetch for hours. I am fully potty trained and let you know when I need to be let outside. I play well with other doggo friends and would do great in a home with another dog, however, that is not necessary. Overall, I am a good dog but have a few behavioral tricks to learn that I sometimes forget when I get so excited. My foster Mom thinks I am a quick learner though and have improved everyday she has had me. I love to play in the backyard and run zoomies so a fenced in yard would be best, but not required. When I go on walks I do better with a harness because I get easily distracted and overly excited when I see squirrels. I sleep in my crate at night but usually only enter it if my foster Mom bribes me with treats. During the day I follow her everywhere she goes because I prefer to be around people than be left alone. When I get worn out from all my playing I love to snuggle up next to any human while I rest. My foster Mom said she is happy to answer any questions you may have about me, hope to meet you soon!
