About Bailey

Adoption Fee: $80

Adorable, snuggly, and playful. You will instantly fall in love! Bailey is just about 3 years old.  He is super soft and super attentative.  He LOVES people.  He wants to be around you, sleep with you, help you with homework or any task you need to get done.  Who doesn’t just LOVE a darling orange boy? Bailey is as sweet as they come. He’s never met a stranger and won’t let you put him down. Yet, this gentle, cuddle monkey is “hard to adopt.” This young man copes with asthma and while he’s a champion with his treatments and would adapt perfectly to all types of households and housemates, requires a little more than the “typical” cat does. He’ll sit patiently and purr through his twice daily inhaled medications and occasionally takes oral prednisone and antibiotics - he LOVES his pill pockets. Yes, this chonky fella is a little “extra” but we promise he’ll reward you with unconditional love.

Do you work from home? Want a snuggle buddy for movie night? Prefer avoiding candles and air fresheners at home? Committed to helping him lose a few of those pesky Covid pounds? If so, drop us a note or apply on line for BAILEY today and get ready to fall in love again.

Info on Cat Asthma

He is neutered, microchipped, negative for both feline leukemia and FIV, and up-to-date on vaccines.

Round faced Amelia is about 3 years old. She had a very rough start to life and has been through so much, therefore she is very timid and skeptical of humans. Amelia now plays with the laser and with toys when she thinks humans aren’t watching. However she is still scared of humans for the most part. Believe it or not, this is progress from when she first came into our care (hiding 24/7, not knowing how to play, when her next meal was, and never feeling consistently secure and safe). We know that with the right adopter who can provide consistent and patient care for Amelia that she’ll blossom into the confident happy girl that is buried beneath her traumatic past.    Amelia very much loves her other kitty roommates, and they’ve helped her tremendously. They’re her therapy cats, if you will. Because of this, we want Amelia to get adopted with one of her roommates. (Sophia, Kenzi, Konrad, wisp, Stache, or Millie)   While we can’t undo Amelia’s past, we can and will continue to help build her confidence and search tirelessly for the right family for her. She has been in our care far too long and gets overlooked because of her shyness and care required to help her adjust.   Please reach out to our adoption coordinator to hear how other cats like Amelia have made complete 180s with their new families.   show less
