About Delta - Located in Maryland

Adoption Fee: $450.00 - Adult Dogs 1-9 Years

Meet Delta!  If only she could tell us about her adventures!  She was found as a stray along I-95 in Virginia. It took 3 days for a wonderful group of local animal rescuers to trap and capture her.  No chip and no one claimed her.

She's definitely a mover! Loves car rides, playing with humans and dogs alike in the backyard as well as any brain game you could give her.

Allegiance is an enthusiastic and lively pup who absolutely adores playing ball and sprinting around. He has a great rapport with other dogs and is incredibly intelligent, making excellent strides with obedience training. Toys, balls, chews, and stuffed animals are amongst his favorite things. Although he can get a little too excited during mealtimes, he waits patiently for his turn and never shows any hostility. In fact, he is so food motivated that he has been doing wonderfully with some hand-feeding training, demonstrating remarkable gentleness. His leash training is also going splendidly, and he is even quite comfortable with baths and water. While he still has much to learn, Allegiance is making fantastic progress and has enormous potential. He's incredibly curious and loves to explore, but we've had to limit his access to the first floor for now as he has a habit of investigating everything with his mouth. However, with more toys and focused play, he's become more engaged and less prone to doing this.  He's a good sleeper and does well in his crate at night, although he does need a bit of a bribe to go in initially. He does have a bit of a prey drive, but can be easily distracted with the right motivation. The biggest challenge we're facing with him is his jumping and impulse control, so young children may not be the best fit for him.   While he seems to be okay with cats at the vet's office, we're not entirely sure how he would do with them running around. He's had limited interactions with small dogs, but seems to do fine with them. Ideally, he needs someone with experience in training Malinois/Dutch Shepherds or rescue dogs, and an active lifestyle would be a perfect match for him.   All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and one-year subscription.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Ripley update: Ripley plays hard and has quite a bit of stamina for long stretches of fun. Still not openly affectionate, Ripley is getting better at learning that she can play and enjoy down time as well. Ripley enjoys the water, balls, toys, climbing, jumping, parkour, playing with her siblings and resident doggos. Ripley know this is the good life and she makes every minute count. Ripley will be a loyal dog, who is a constant guardian to her family and will be super intelligent. The best of everything you would want from a dutchies.   Area 51 baby Ripley is the second in command to her big sister but first in your heart. This fierce little lady is full of sass and attitude but also has an off switch. When she plays, she plays hard, as soon as she is done with a wrestling match, tug of war battle or game of chase she is ready to chill in your lap and relax. Ripley will definatley need someone to engage her and teach her, she is smart and very curious about her world. Ripley may be interested in agility or maybe something that puts her brain to work. She does have an independent streak, so like a typical dutchie, she will remember exactly what her agenda is. Ripley has met resident dogs and was very playful, she had no fear and was ready to play right way.  Ripley was dumped at a New Mexico Shelter with her siblings. She was not given the opportunity to grow up with her momma and hung on until MAD was able to rescue her and her family. Ripley has a long recovery ahead of her already, but her glow up will be so worth it. Stay tuned for more details as we learn more about Miss Ripley All MAD dogs come with a Fi GPS Collar and one-year subscription! She is enjoying being able to snuggle and get away from the chaos of her sisters. Scully is super interested in learning, she is curious and calculated. Scully is happy to survey the chaos and then get involved when she has had enough of the noise. Scully enjoys you lap, a bench right next to you or at your feet, she will thrive in a house who allows her to be with her family always.   Area 51 baby girl Scully is the leader of the pack. While it is still to be seen whether she is an alpha or not, she definatley has the confidence and drive to do something amazing and be the boss. This girl is going to be a fiercly loyal, intellegent and a fun loving doggo. Curious about toys and games, Scully isnt shy about seeking attention, affection or engagment. Purdy Birdie loves children! She will follow them all around the house being their shadow. She recently attended a pool party for a bunch of kids and did superb! Like all Mals, she can be mouthy when excited.  She seems to do well with other dogs and enjoys their company. She lives with other dogs at her fosters and enjoys their company. She plays with the Mastiff all day long (see video). She had a pretty healthy interest in a cat that ran across the road, so we do not recommend cats at this time. It's possible she could be taught to leave them alone, but we do not know. She loves playing with soft toys and throwing them in the air. She does like to chew things too. She is playful and a joy to watch. She will chase after a ball, but hasn't quite figured out the benefit of bringing it back ;-).  It doesn't appear she had lived in a home prior to her foster's. Everything seems new to her and she is enjoying learning and exploring, and growing closer to her circle of people. Her Story: Purdy Birdie was found by a good samaritan on the side of the road, after having been hit by a car. Her interior pelvis was fractured and her hip. She was brought to the vet, treated for hookworms and mites, and given basic vaccines. They did a fundraiser in their community for her and took her to an orthopedic doctor who performed an FHO. Her recent check up revealed she is healing quite well and he was excited an FHO was able to be done instead of an amputation. She is now good as new with all four legs intact!!   Let's give this sweet girl that has recovered from so much, a loving, committed home to call her own. A place to explore and be loved.  _______________________________ All MAD dogs come with a Fi GPS Collar and one-year subscription! Hi everyone they have named me Bruno around these parts and I'm as friendly as they come. I get along well with all children and do good with both small and big dogs. I have a low prey drive so I'm told, but I don't even know what "prey" is. I do like to chew things when I'm bored, but only things mom says are safe for me to have. I really don't care much for toys or treats but I do enjoy chewing soft toys when bored or alone. The occasional beef trachea is nice too. I'm the goodest of boys, and I even get along with my not so nice foster sister(she's always moody). My rents have human pups from the ages of 1 year old to 10 years old and so far I like them all! My foster grandma has a chihuahua and even though he is bossy and tries to intimidate me I am still nice to him when he comes to visit. We get along well and I only get upset when he tries to take my treats from my kennel. I'm house trained and I'll go into a kennel if you need me to. I'm a little nervous on tile/plank flooring but mom says so was my foster sister and ill grow out of it with training. I also don't like bathing very much but my foster mom says I'll get used to it eventually also , so for her I tolerate my bath time patiently. I walk calmly on a leash and rarely to never pull. Mom says I'm handsome. She always says I'm the sweetest Belgian Malinois she's ever met! Apparently that means a lot because mom has been around tons of dogs like me. I'm looking for a permanent family to call my own. I'd love to snuggle you , enjoying your company if you'll have me? Thank you for reading and feel free to reach out to ask my foster mom or my adoption counselor about any additional questions or concerns.
