Available for Pre-adoption! Lucy is a sweet, docile, quiet, gentle and easy going girl. She is a senior, believed to be between 8-9 yrs old. When first rescued she was very weak, lethargic, not eating nor wanting to even venture off her bed. She tested positive for Ehrlicha (Tick Fever not contagious to humans or other animals. Treatment was 28 days of Doxycycline which has been completed. Blood work was done shortly after rescue (see copy below). Blood work was done on 1/16/2023 and was not great however we knew she had a way to go in order to improve. Her kidneys were not functioning properly especially fighting Tick fever. Slowly she did improve with continued fluids, exercise, diet, medication, vitamins and lots of love she has improved drastically. She is walking longer distances and now will follow us around the entire yard. She is very happy, will bounce around in the yard and has a great appetite. Her blood work was repeated on 3/1 (see photo below). Blood work shows continued improvement. She has lost many teeth in the past (prior to us) however eats with no issue. Lucy and Pepe are now on the right diet with Hills prescription kidney care. Lucy and Pepe are a bonded pair. Pepe is believed to be her son and he is between 6-7 years old. Both are so easy and such low maintenance. Whatever their age they deserve to finally find their forever home where they can live out the rest of their lives being loved and cherished. She is mellow, she can be playful at times, is extremely obedient, well mannered, well behaved and low maintenance. Lucy is crate trained, potty trained, piddle pad trained, great with kids, cats and all dogs. Private message if interested show less

Available for adoption! Micky aka Rocky is a very sweet, snuggly boy and very loyal. He is pretty easy going and loves being wherever his family is: he'll lie down at their feet while at the computer or he'll wander around the backyard when they're outside. He is affectionate (kisses!) and loves to be petted. He loves all food and his favorite treats are peanut butter ball treats...but he'll eat just about anything. He is active so children over 7 would be a better fit for him. He loves toys, loves to play tug of war, loves to play chase and likes to play fetch (but he's still learning the rules of this game). He enjoys walks and does not bark in the backyard. He is a great dog however he is timid of men. He would do best in a family who either has a man who can work with his fear issues, or a family without men present. He is not nervous around boys, girls, or women; just some men. He is not aggressive towards men but he will walk away or leave the room if a man is there. His foster family has been working with him to help him through his fear, but it is a slow process and any family who adopts him will need to be aware that he is still working on this.  He is crate trained, potty trained, doggy door trained, good with kids and all dogs.
