Available for Pre-adoption! Amy is an amazing, resilient and a warrior. 24 hours after being rescued we noticed her ankle looked strange. After closer inspection we soon realized she must have had a broken ankle at some point in her short life. We rushed her to our vet a few days later only to discover she suffered a horrific injury to her hip, tail and ankle. Our vet's best guess is that she was most likely hit by a car at a very young age. Her injuries have healed completely and she runs, jumps and plays normally. Once in a while she will twist around and lay down immensely but gets right back up like nothing. There is nothing that could be done to improve this old injury aside from amputation which is unnecessary in our vets opinion. She had a litter of puppies 4.5 months ago and had no complications meaning her hip was completely healed and puppies passed freely. Vet stated she should be on Glucosamine for the rest of her life and will live a comfortable life. She is the most patient, loving, gentle and has an angelic vibe around her. She is currently with 10 plus small breed dogs and is the most considerate and gentle with them. She will lay down so that they can play with her. She is obedient, well mannered, easy going, chill, tender with all and affectionate. She is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained , great with kids and all dogs. Available for Pre-adoption! Charlie could not possibly be any more adorable. He is super well behaved, easy going, happy, playful, obedient, gentle by nature and a joy. He loves his toys and can entertain himself and has a great time with his foster friends. He is scheduled for his neuter on 12/13 and can go home on or after that day. Charlie's mother was positive for Ehrlichia however Charlie's 4 DX test was NEGATIVE. We will require he be re-tested with us when he is 4 months old to insure his future health and peace of mind. Available for Pre-adoption! Fluffy is a sweet and super docile lady. She was surrendered due to financial hardship and had been with the family since a young pup. She is very quiet, obedient, easy going, aims to please and truly can do no wrong. She is currently being fostered with 10 furbabies of various sizes, ages and does wonderful with all. She is still acclimating to her environment and has a few anxious moments lasting seconds. In the photo she has a thunder jacket on only because it's been cold and that is the only thing that we have that fits her. She will not require one but would love a few new sweaters lol. She absolutely loves everyone she meets and is submissive by nature.  Sparks is currently under treatment for Ehrlichia and Anaplasmosis (Tick fever not contagious to humans or other animals).  Treatment is 28 days of Doxycycline which will be provided for and paid for by GTDR.  She is playful with her toys, is crate trained, potty trained, great with kids, cats and all dogs. Tippie is a super sweet and docile girl.  She is a joy to be around, loves toys, loves giving kisses and being held.  She is initially shy however it only lasts a few minutes.  She is submissive by nature as her mother is the same way.  She is smart, obedient, eager to please, enjoys being around other dogs, she is 90% crate trained, 80% potty trained, great with kids and all dogs.  She should do well with cats with a proper introduction. Available for Pre-adoption! Tommie is a sweet, and gentle puppy. He had a rough beginning as his fur daddy gave him a serious bite about 7 weeks ago prior to us rescuing him. He suffered quite a painful bite. Dad's canine went in just below his eye crushing a portion of the eye socket, through the upper pallette. Second canine went through the upper gums above his 2 molars. The gum line has a permanent indentation and damaged the baby teeth (which were removed at neuter appt.) and possibly any future teeth in that spot. The wounds were being reopened as he played with his siblings prior to us rescuing him. Now he is separated and finally can heal properly. Due to the severity of his bite and it's location by his eye he does have a large indentation and will most likely end up with a watery eye. He however is not phased by this as he eats, plays with toys and loves to give kisses. He is such a chunky and happy puppy with no other lasting fears around other dogs. He is smart, playful, and enjoys cuddling on warm laps. He is crate trained, 85% potty trained with us, great with kids and all dogs. Should do well with cats with a proper introduction.
