Hello! My name is Annabelle. I am almost a year old and my foster mom says I'm a "medium energy level, med-build" dog.... whatever that means!! Hopefully that's something you're looking for :-) I would love to find my forever family soon so I can celebrate the holidays with them!  I am completely house broken and have had no accidents. I walk well on leash and love to play fetch. I love to be around my people as much as possible. Afterall, I've got a lot of love to give!!  I'm also good with other dogs and school aged children and I've been working on listening to my foster moms commands! Animal is Fostered in: Mount Pleasant, WI She is scheduled for alteration on 1/5/2023.  If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration.  We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK.   Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled.  If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded.  We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us.  We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments.  Missed appointments also delay care that other animals could be receiving. For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Apollo is the sweetest boy!  He loves people of all ages and gets along with other dogs as well.  Apollo's favorite toy is a ball!  He will nicely bring you the ball, drop and wait for it to be tossed to him or down the yard for fetch!  He is great at catching it mid-air!  Apollo loves to curl up with his humans or lay on a bed/blanket for a nap.  Apollo would make a great addition to your home!   Apollo was hit by a car prior to being dropped off at the shelter.  When he came to us, he did not not have any medical care.  We swiftly brought him to the vet for xrays.  Apollo had a shattered femur and needed surgery.  FHO surgery was completed on 11/08/22 and Apollo is doing great!  The healing process is going very well but it will take a few months for Apollo to be back to the normal activitty that he enjoys.  He is no longer on crate rest and is able to go in the yard and on walks.  Apollo should still be limited on his play (no tug of war, copious amounts of running) until he is well healed.  Apollo would love to have a family to call his own for the Holidays! Apollo is fully house and crate trained! Animal is fostered in Racine, WI  For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Looking for the ultimate holiday present for your pup this year? How about a canine best friend?! Apple is a one year old, 35lb mixed breed looking for her forever family this holiday season! Apple does wonderful with dogs of all sizes, is cat safe, crate trained/fully housebroken, and as sweet as her name! We are unsure how Apple will do around children, but recommend children at least over 12 due to her reserved nature. Rescue Outreach is requiring Apple  go to a home with another dog to continue building her confidence, and have a play partner for life! Read on to learn more about this beautiful pup! Apple came to Rescue Outreach in early September from our partner shelter down in Kentucky. We don't know much about her background, except that she was a stray for a few months before making her way to the shelter. We are certain that at one point Apple was loved and in a home, because she is housebroken and has wonderful house manners- she won't even go on furniture! Because of her time as a stray, Apple can be skittish and shy around new people and places and will need a patient family that gives her the time and freedom to move at her own pace. After about 2 weeks in her foster home, we began to see Apple's personality come shining through, and know that someone will fall in love with her once she warms up! In addition to being housebroken, Apple is crate trained and thinks of her crate as a nice little den where she sleeps, eats and relaxes! Apple can be crated while her new family is away from the home- she does not whine, bark or panic! Apple sometimes sleeps overnight in her crate and will wait patiently for her foster parents to wake up in the morning. Outside her crate, she sleeps mostly through the night, but will wake you up if she has to go potty.  Apple is used to going outside on a tie-out, and does very well on it! She knows her name, and will come to us when called! Apple would love a fenced in yard to sniff and explore and call her own, as she really enjoys her outside time! (Check out the video of her playing in the first snowfall of the year!) Speaking of playing, Apple is happiest playing with her canine foster siblings, and has a wonderful adaptability to play with dogs of different sizes and play styles! She has even learned to play with the cats in her foster home! Once she has bonded with her new family, Apple may be the type of dog that enjoys doggy daycare or dog park visits!  Apple is also learning the joy of toys! She has lots of fun with plush squeaky toys, and plays without destroying them! Apple is great at entertaining herself with appropriate toys and loves chewing on bones, playing with her snuffle mat, or working on a Kong! We have not seen her chew on anything she shouldn't! Apple is highly treat motivated and a very smart girl! We think she will excel with a training class and make some dog friends there as well! If you have patience, love and an open dog bed in your home, Apple might just be the perfect fit! Animal is fostered in Helenville, WI For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Looking for a buddy to play catch with? Meet Arlo. Ball is his favorite thing possibly in his whole puppy world. He absolutely loves to play catch and no one is faster than him. He’s crate trained and doing well with potty training. He’s working on his basic commands but that can sometimes be tricky for him. He wants to learn, and he really wants that treat in your hand but he’s a young, energetic puppy and is sometimes easily distracted by the world around him. He’s good with kids, dogs, and cats. Arlo will make a great companion to just about any family. Is there room in yours for him?  Animal is Fostered in: Mount Pleasant, WI He/She is scheduled for alteration on 11/2/2022. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Callie and Splotchy are a bonded husband and wife who have been through thick and thin together. Together they have raised at least 7 kittens!  Both of them enjoy attention, pets, playtime, and cozy places to nap.  They like other cats, and Callie likes calm dogs.  Splotchy is weary of energetic dogs but tolerates his foster family's old dog.  Splotchy LOVES to be held and appreciates belly rubs.  Callie is very affectionate and can be held, but she does not tolerate being manhandled.  When you come home after a long day this sweet couple will greet you by rubbing up against your legs and asking for pets.  Callie is a very special kitty, she has been a fantastic mama cat to her kittens, but it has taken a toll on her body.  Although she looks like anyother healthy cat, Callie has a heart murmur that may reduce her life expectancy; at this time she doesn't need any medications. Despite this, Callie is sweet, lively, and LOVES a good playtime! Callie and Splotchy are a very special couple who need a very special home.  If you think Callie and Splotchy would make a great addition to your family please fill out an application.   Animal is Fostered in: Racine For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Meet Lila! Lila is a purebred Belgian Malinois and is approximately 3 years old. Lila was bred to be used as a K9 officer, however this sweet girl didn't have it in her to be bite trained. If there were a job giving kisses to babies, she would be the girl for the job! Although Lila does not have enough drive to be a police K9, she still has many traits of her breed. Belgian Malinois are very intelligent, high energy and require an extreme amount of exercise and mental stimulation. Without the proper mental and physical stimulation they can become problematic, so she will need to go to a family that understands her and is committed to meeting her needs. For this reason we are requiring working breed experience for her adopters.    Lila is potty trained, and working on kennel training. She does not love her kennel, but she tolerates it when she has been given sufficient exercise. Lila MUST be kenneled when unsupervised.    Lila is friendly with everyone and everything. Great with other dogs and attends daycare regularly. She is also cat friendly and LOVES kids. She is a little nervous around men at first but warms up quickly.  Bottom line is Lila's breed requires a lot of time and work. Her adopter must have experience and a plan in place to meet her needs.    Animal is Fostered in: Racine, WI For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less
