Meet Kipper:  Kipper is a very sweet 6 month old male English shepherd/Australian shepherd/husky/pit bull mix. I am fostering him for Charlie's Crusaders Pet Rescue. He arrived from Mississippi a week ago.  The monster that had him previously clipped his ears and tail off with a scissors to make him appear intimidating. He was and is still fearful of many things but he has made amazing progress with the help of my mentor dogs. He has learned how to use the dog door, been bathed, had his nails clipped, been introduced to the lawnmower, weed eater, and vacuum cleaner. He has never had an accident in the house and I only crate him when I leave the house or when I am preparing their food. He is not food aggressive with humans but he has not yet learned to be respectful of the other dogs boundaries around food. He has started to play with my other dogs and my seven year old granddaughter is teaching him that hands are not toys. He is playful but he settles down nicely and sleeps through the night in my bedroom. He walks nicely on the leash staying close to you because he is still unsure but he is very interested in critters. He is very smart and responds to corrections quickly. He cannot wait to get to his forever home!  He is available for adoption through Charlie’s Crusaders.Kipper is up to date on all his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting the sweet boy please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org And fill out our adoption application. show less
