Meet Adamae:  Adamae is an adorable 2 year old Pit mix who weighs 50 lbs. Adamae was rescued from a high kill shelter and is now in a loving foster home. Adamae gets along with other dogs and people. Adamae has the most gorgeous and soulful eyes: one is blue and the other is brown.  Adamae loves to play in the yard, chase toys, and then collapse into a deep snuggle with you on the couch. Adamae would make a great family pet or companion dog.  Adamae will require a home with a fenced in yard. Adamae is up to date with vaccines, spayed and is currently going through heartworm treatment. Meet Arrow: Arrow aka Zachary is up for adoption because his current adopter is returning him because he moved to a new home and he can only have 3 dog’s and no Pit breeds. The adopter adopted Arrow and his sister over a year ago and is keeping his sister because she looks less scary then Arrow. Adopter also took in two small dogs a friend of his had to rehome and so now he wants Arrow gone. Our hearts are breaking for Arrow and we need a loving home for Arrow. Arrow has a high prey drive and is very rambunctious and when he smells something he wants to pursue, he will!!  Children in home should be over 12 years of age as he doesn't realize his size and strenght. Arrow is a Bully mix that is 2.5yrs and weighs 60-65lbs.  Arrow is a lovable and energetic guy. Arrow loved to play with his sister and run around the yard. He is somewhat obiendiant and easily trainable. He is housebroken and is up to date on all his shots and neutered. Arrow loves people but will need to be an only pet. Arrow will need a home with a fenced in yard and a family with big/strong dog experience. Meet Arthur:  Arthur is a cute 10 week old Hound/Shepherd/Beagle mix. Arthur and his 6 siblings were rescued when their owner was not taking care of them and wanted them gone. Arthur is so sweet and lovable. Arthur loves to play with his toys and run around chasing his siblings. Arthur loves other dogs and children. Arthur will need a fenced in yard and active family. Meet Banjo! Banjo is a 4 year old Plott Hound mix weighing about 65 pounds. He is a beautiful boy with his brindle coat and white chest and markings and he has the most expressive face. Banjo is a sweetheart and a fragile soul that likes to be told he is a good boy and he just wants to please. Banjo loves to be active and is a high energy dog. He enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and playing. Most of all, Banjo enjoys cuddling with his people on the couch. Banjo struggles with confidence and anxiety issues, but has been working on these things with a trainer and will do wonderfully in the right home while continuing his hard work and with an adopter that is knowledgeable with anxious dogs. Banjo is reactive to new situations and he is learning to come out of his shell and be more engaged in the world and not so selective and nervous around strangers. Banjo is also very food motivated! Banjo is well versed in obedience training and knows sit, crawl, down, stay, bed, speak, and roll over. He is muzzle trained, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Banjo will not chew on bones or play with toys and his fosters are working on getting him to learn what toys are. Banjo would be best in a home with a single person or couple. Banjo gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly, he will play with them, and could do well in a home with multiple dogs but needs the proper iand slow introduction with an experinced dog owner. Banjo would prefer a home with no children and likes women more than men. Meet Bentley: Bentley is a Chihuahua mix that is 10 years old. Bentley was surrendered to a high kill shelter saying they did not want him any longer. Bentley had a big mass on his chest and had not been to a vet in years. We took him to our vet immediately and had the mass removed. He did well with the surgery and mass was non cancer so his prognosis is good. We got him up to date on all his shots and now he is ready for his forever home. Bentley is great with other dogs and loves attention. Bentley is house trained and loves snuggling. Bentley will make a great addition to anyones family. Bentley is being fostered with a wonderful family in Lilitz, Pennsylvania. 🔴 PLEASE NOTE MUST OWN YOUR OWN HOME AND HAVE A FENCED IN YARD🔴 Meet Betty.  Betty is a six-year-old  American Pit Bull Terrier. Betty is the sister and litter mate of Billy who is also featured at Charlie’s Crusaders Pet Rescue.  Betty has been home-raised all her life.  She did go to a new home for nine months but was reclaimed by the original owner and breeder because the new owner failed to provide shelter for her.  Other terms of the puppy contract were also ignored forcing the original owner to take possession of her.  Recently Betty’s owner was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension making it impossible to care for four dogs.  Betty is a spayed female, current on all her shots including rabies.  Vet records are available.  Betty loves kids and other dogs but is probably too much dog for small children.  She will be a great companion for children eight years and up.  Betty is housebroken.  She loves to go for walks and loves to play with her brother Billy.  She is very friendly and loves attention from visitors and strangers.  She settles down quickly after an initial introduction.  She loves human touch and really loves to cuddle in bed or on the sofa.  She and Billy will be wonderful additions to any family.  Betty and Billy are crate familiar but have rarely been crated.betty and billy are a bonded pair and would like to stay together. Bunny was born 3/22/22 in one of our foster homes.  Her mommy had been left at a groomers with who we believe was the daddy?  They left them both with a fictitious phone number.  The groomer reached out to us for help.  Mommy and daddy both broke with Parvo so we immediately got them to an emergency hospital.  Upon examination of mommy, it was discovered she was pregnant with 4 babies.  When mommy was clear of Parvo she moved to a foster to prepare for her delivery.  She delivered 4 healthy, beautiful babies; 2 boys and 2 girls.  We believe them to be Pug, Chihuahua and terrier mix and will probably to be around 20lbs fully grown; that’s a best guess.  Bunny is super sweet, well socialized and knows how to use pee pads.  She is a young puppy, so she’s not crate/house trained and will need lots of patience going through puppyhood.  Puppies are a TON of work!  Please be sure you are mentally, physically and financially able.  Too young to be altered; we will discuss options with an approved application.  She’s had 3 sets of shots and been dewormed regularly.  Children in home need to be over 6 years of age because of the her size.  A fenced yard with wire is required due to her size.  Applications can be found at; charliescrusaders.org show less

Buster is l very friendly and very low keyed.  Buster gets along with other dogs and loves people. Buster would love a family that would love him and become part of his life. 🔴 PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST OWN  YOUR HOME A FENCED IN YARD & BREED EXPERIENCE 🔴   Meet Diego aka Jefe aka Deuce. Deuce is estimated to be about 4ish years old and a pit mix..
