About Arthur - Located in Arizona

Adoption Fee: $450.00 - Adult Dogs 1-9 Years

"King" Arthur is a super sweet, low-medium drive boy. He thrives in a structured, boundaried home! There, he learned to relax and enjoy his life! He does best with more mellow, non-dominant dogs with slow and proper introductions. His foster parent says he is "killingn it" regarding training. He walks nicely on leash and is doing great with obedience. He has great recall as he is very motivated to come back to his person!

He has great food drive and could do well with scent training!

He likes kids and we think older dog-savvy kids would be good.

He's a true velcro dog and just loves his people and sometimes forgets how big he is [lapdog anyone?]. Arthur does have abandonment issues and will need someone to continue his training to help him feel safe. Someone experienced with anxiety will be helpful. He is doing well though with crate training! He's a true protector, saving his foster mom from a coyote who was trailing them - he scared it off by barking at it. He will not leave your side!

He also rides really well in the car!

Blanca is an approximately 3 yo spayed purebred Malinois love bug who enjoys long walks with her person. Loves toys, dogs ok if they are dumb boys (can be dog selective, males seem better than females).  Good in a crate for periods of time, will definitely tell you when she has to go potty. She wants a best friend and will stay around in the garden and help you weed or plant seeds! I think weeding may be her favorite thing about that. Large horses are of little importance. But food? Food rules all! Will do pretty much anything for food. When we asked Blanca to describe her ideal home, this is what she said. Meet Bullet.  Affectionally called "Bullie," he is the sweetest dog with a wonderful temperament, and an all-around goofy fellow.  He is a gorgeous one year-old neutered Malinois (possibly GSD mix, which lends to his goofy personality) that was owner surrendered because his family was moving. Staff reported he was delivered to the shelter in a wire crate strapped onto the back of an open trailer. Being accepted by MAD is the best thing to ever happen for Bullet as it became apparent that he was unvetted but thankfully healthy, underfed, and had never been inside a home or vehicle. As such, he is quickly learning leash manners and house manners. Riding in a vehicle is still a challenge for him, but his foster mom is working with him on this as well.  Staff also said he had a young boy upset to be losing his best friend who must have loved him dearly and played with him for hours. Bullet loves to play hard and he leans against you for affection before racing off to find a toy for you to toss to him. His favorite thing to do when you let him out of his crate is to take a biiiiiig stretch and slump down on your feet for belly rubs. He is a handsome, fun loving guy who is learning fast and has the temperament and talent to be the best dog you ever had. Bullet recently went through a two week board and train to evaluate what he knew, his skillset and to really get to the bottom of his nerves around riding in a vehicle. Watch his video! Bullie is currently working on not showing a redirection when he is overwhelmed in new situations. His redirect inlcudes jumping up and or putting an arm gently in his mouth. Cami is a 2 year old, DOB 6/20/20, she comes with a past (but don't we all), she was found as a stray in a rural area of Western New York. Currently being fostered near Buffalo, NY. No one claimed her, so we gladly scooped her up. This little girl, like seriously petite at 45 lbs, is unbelievably sweet to every person she meets.  Being the princess she is, she does come with a few demands. Playing ball all the time is a must, literally rain or shine. She will do ANYTHING for her ball! Cami doesnt let a little wetness ruin her fun. Actually she LOVES water, fighting the water from a hose is another favorite pastime of hers. Food? Eh she doesn't really care unless it's something she's not supposed to have. Cami has her sights set on being Queen one day, already tries to run the roost, but we already have a queen in this foster home. She does well with other dogs but needs to be managed as she can get reactive to high excitement energy. She is house and crate trained. Has wonderful obedience!! Like rally worthy (Videos available on request) Off leash reliable, e-collar trained, Great training/sport prospect! Older kids are fine, she snuggles with her 13 year old human foster brother. And he runs her through her OB routine. Rides well in a car, actually would probably live in a car if you let her. After a good day of running and mental games she does relax and sleep curled up at your feet. But I will warn you she can be a bed hog! Cami is not recommended for the first time Malinois owner, she can be a pet but needs to be worked daily! This sweet, 1 year old male Belgian Malinois was found injured in a ditch and is now in good hands with a loving foster. Chief has been described by both his foster and vet as a "very good boy" who loves other dogs and people. He is also good with cats and kids -- a real gem!  He hasn't been with us for long, but he does know some basic commands, does well with leash and collar, and doesn't have a problem with bath time or nail trims. He is a very calm, low drive pup. Medium food/treat drive and no food agression at all. He hasn't shown reactivity towards noises, traffic, or strangers and does well in car rides. Very respectful of boundaries and all around a chill boy.  If you're looking for a friendly, social family dog, Chief is for you! Do we have the lapdog for you! Donna wants nothing more than to be your snuggle partner for the rest of forever. She is eight years old, loves dog-confident people and is very much the chillest Mal/GSD ever. She needs less than an hour of exercise a day and would be perfectly content with a modest backyard. A great introduction to the breed. She loves snuggles, playing tug with her stuffy toys, and a good frozen marrow bone. She loves puppies but is not the biggest fan of dog socialization overall. She would do best as either the only dog, or with a puppy she can raise, or another older dog that's socially tuned in enough to leave her be. She is cat selective and people selective. She would love a quiet home with no children where she can love on one owner, or two with some time and proper socialization. She does best crated when company comes. Donna is incredibly sweet, is fully crate trained and housetrained, lounges and cuddles like a champ, walks beautifully on a leash, has mid-level obedience skills, and will gladly do anything her owner asks her to do. Do you have a chill home and a warm lap? Apply for Donna today.   If you are interested in adopting or fostering this pet, please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic. Fury is a spunky small [48#] female and has the most beautiful coloring! She has great ball drive and is starting to develop some tug drive. She has great food drive. She could do really well in nose work and someone even suggested cadaver search! She loves to swim and with some training might be into dock diving. She is the fastest little thing! She might be a Fast Cat candidate. She can do well with dogs with slow and proper introductions but she is very undersocialized so will need continued help feeling safe around strange dogs - she is easily redirected. She gets along well with her foster sister. She will need siblings who are not confrontational. She's a very green pup who needs guidance and training but so far she's learning sit, stay, come, down, crate, place and her name - all in progress but she's a quick learner. Her recall is really great [w/o big distractions]. She is very motivated by praise and love and stays close to her pack. She has a very goofy side and loves to slide into her human's lap in a little judo roll.  She would do best with no prey animals or small children in the home. She is a bit high strung and seems to need someone who can run or bike with her and mentally stimulate to expend that energy. She has great house manners and rides well in the car. She will need an experienced handler who can help her along on her journey. She will need someone patient and boundaried. She's a very sweet girl who seems to not have known much love! She's a cuddler and totally lover! Quirks: bark first and ask for pets later. she needs help calming down from zoomies. she is an intense face licker lol Follow her on FaceBook: #madlovefury We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location. Ginger could be the dog for you if you want to make a difference in a dog's life -  Not a small difference, but a difference so great that the bond between you and the dog, once you overcome her past, will be like non-other!  Ginger is a young girl, under 2 years old and appears to be a working line Belgian Tervuren. Learn about the difference between show and working line at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7VCtU3wHmM She is absolutely beautiful! At 8 months old she was found as a stray and went to a shelter where she spent 5 months before MAD was called to help place her. Now with a wonderful foster in southern Wyoming, she is learning manners, basic obedience, and enjoying life with walks and playtime.  She loves being loved and spending time with people. She is excited to learn new things and see the world! Ginger is crate-trained and has been learning to wait at doors, sit, and down until released. She waits to be released for her food too. She has also been worked on leash skills and how to play with a few rules. Training is fun for Ginger and she loves water!! She'd love to live on some land with a pond. Ginger seems to prefer men. It seems anyway. Ginger's dark side: When uncomfortable or overwhelmed she can try to bite out of anxiety and fear. If corrected on the leash, she will turn around and try to bite the leash etc.  Ginger will need her new person to follow a strict development plan of 3-6 months of absolute positive, joyful fun doing things she loves.  She needs a bond developed where she trusts you and sees you as a kind leader where things happen that she loves.  She then will need you to slowly start pushing her outside that comfort zone, slowly so she feels secure and to up her confidence. We have people who have adopted dogs similar who can talk to you about the process and they will tell you that the bond you develop with the dog will be something you have never experienced. You will not regret it and will feel so fulfilled in having saved this dog literally from a worse fate. If you think you are the person who can save her and develop that bond with her, let's talk! She should not be around children at this point as she desires affection one minute and then gets overwhelmed the next and can snap. She is unknown with other dogs, but possibly good with a very calm, non-reactive dog. Cats? Probably not a good idea. Ginger needs an owner who can work through her insecurities and give her a chance. She is not a 'coffee-shop' or 'brewery' dog right now, but could be eventually as she does love people. She is unpredictable likely due to a lack of confidence and fear.  If you are interested in adopting Ginger, please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic .  We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location.
