At the moment, I live with another dog who is my best friend. Because I tend to have a bit of energy, I like my walks! While I haven't had much interaction with those other four-legged creatures that hiss, I bark at them when I see them outside.  One thing you should know about me is that I'm a foodie. Also, my favorite inside toy is the "indestructible bone". Playing fetch outside is also one of my favorite things to do! Andrina is a beautiful mixed breed who is just so much fun to be around. She loves taking naps and relax watching TV. When I first brought her into my home I was nervous she wouldn't get along with my dog but I was wrong and they instantly became best friends. She loves to go on walks and explore the neighbourhood. She's real quiet and down to earth. Andrina just seems to be really happy to have a home and a warm bed to sleep on. Meet Arista! She is such a sweetheart, follows you wherever you go in the apartment. She is working on crate training, but prefers to sleep by you on her dog bed or anywhere you are in sight. She is quickly learning to go up and down the stairs and walk on her leash. She is almost completely housebroken and is has had no accidents during the night. She is very curious when I take her outside, wanting to greet anyone who passes her, even was wanting to help the garbage men work this morning!  She would be an amazing addition to any family and has so much love to give.  ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. No I’m not the Tiktok celebrity K9 Arlo but my name is Arlo. I’m not a police dog but I do have many of my own talents!The most important thing to know about me is I’m a bonded pair! I have never spent a day apart from my litter mate Rover. There are plenty of perks to adopting a bonded pair.  When we are adopted, we keep each other company. We can play, exercise, and keep one another from boredom or separation anxiety while our owner is away. It’s true! The benefits of keeping a bonded together highly outweigh the drawbacks.Now about me, I love to cuddle! Especially with kids!! I love them! I like to hang with other dogs too but mostly just with my brother. I’m house trained and crate  trained! I also like to go for walks.I don’t love the bath but I don’t hate it either. Whenever you call her over, she runs over with a smile and shows you her belly to give her rubs! We don't have any children to bring her around at the moment, but I am almost certain she would be great with kids. Billie is is a very special dog. As soon as Billie got out of the van from Georgia she jumped into my arms and tried to lick my face off. Even after being abandoned to starve, taken to a shelter malnourished and being transported to New York, she is trusting, loving, and excited about her new surroundings. I cannot stress enough how loving and cuddly this dog is. As she has been decompressing at my house her personality has been emerging day by day.  Billie is a medium size dog with alot of energy. She would do best in an environment where she could get regular exercise. When she is inside she is calm and loves to chew a bone on my couch. I have been crate training her and she sleeps through the night easily. While she came to us not house-broken, after only 2 days she now is totally house-broken! Billie is very receptive to attention and training. She is certainly intelligent. Understandably, because she was chained to a tree her whole life, she did not receive basic training. She needs help learning how to walk properly on a leash. I am going to be trying to work with her on this and other basic commands over the next few weeks. Honestly I want to adopt Billie myself. Unfortunately the other female pitbull in my house has made it clear that she does not agree. Billie has been nothing but friendly and curious towards all the dogs I've seen her in contact with but mine is territorial. I don't have children but I think Billie would do great with kids. Billie is very special dog with a special energy. The shelter she came from said that she was one of their favorite dogs. Hi, I’m Bruno, your new best friend! I am a polite, sometimes shy, wiggly tailed boy, currently living my best life in NYC! I love cuddling on the sofa, either napping or finding my way into your lap for a scratch - I even like to hold hands! I'm really smart, good boy - I know all the basics (sit, stay, lay down), and I like to sleep in my crate at night - I don’t even snore! I’m happy to play by myself (I LOVE toys!), so don’t worry if you need to leave me for work! Equally I’ve been getting along really well with my room mate (a grumpy Frenchie!) - we like to nap together and have the odd 30 second zoomies, before we both need a sit down! I love going on errands with my foster mum, and meeting new people and dogs, though I’m always polite and don’t pull the lead, or approach dogs that are scared; a little sniff to say Hi and off I go! MEET CARLOTTA (Lottie)! Lottie is the sweetest and happiest mush with so much personality. She’s truly the most affectionate, lovable, and goofy girl and loves to give hugs and kisses to her humans. Lottie is very expressive and responsive and when she gets excited about something, she will make sure you know it by pawing the air and wiggling her butt. Her favorite activity includes just about anything that involves her humans. She LOVES cuddles and is big on physical touch - she will perch onto your lap as soon as you get home for a big hug and is quick to cuddle up next to you on the couch. She's really just an oversized lap dog. Lottie also wants to please people - her foster parents think any training will be easy because she’s obedient/very eager for your approval, is a great listener, and loves snacks. She has already mastered sit! Lottie loves to be in your company and will follow you around the house, but her foster parents think that could change once she’s fully adjusted in a forever home since this has already leveled out a bit since she arrived in her NYC foster home. That said, she settles quickly both when you're around the house or when you leave her for a few hours, snoozes very often, and she loves her dog bed. Lottie is really just a big couch potato and loves to take lots of naps throughout the day, especially if it involves snuggles with you. She will match your energy throughout the day and is totally happy to have chill/lazy days but enjoys walks as well. She is currently being crate trained when her foster parents leave the house and is doing extremely well with it (no separation anxiety), but would probably be well-behaved and calm without the crate too (she doesn’t chew things!).  Lottie could keep up with an active lifestyle if that’s what her forever humans like, but she’s probably happiest when she's lounging with you. Despite likely not having had much experience with leash walking in her previous life, Lottie’s foster parents have seen quick progress with her leash manners. She does not lead or pull at all and sticks close by you and is generally on the lower-maintenance side with walks.  She gets happy when she sees strangers and other dogs on the street and loves to say hi, but she will follow your lead with either greeting them or letting them pass. She really enjoys meeting other dogs and is very gentle and sweet with all of them. Her foster parents think she could live with another dog in the family, but she might enjoy being the only dog in the household given how much she likes being the center of your attention :) Lottie is also fully potty trained. Overall, Lottie is absolutely AMAZING and her foster parents are truly obsessed (and would adopt her in a heartbeat if they could!). She's great with all people and dogs she meets and she has SO much love to give -- her one true love in life will be her next and forever human/s!!! Cecaelia is the sweetest snoot you’ll ever meet! A nature girl at heart, she loves long walks in parks with grass she can sink her paws into. Cold and rain don’t slow her down, she is a strong spirit with a curious snout that wants to smell the world! Sisi (her nickname, after Princess Sisi of Austria) has started to let her playful side shine through, but she always loves to stare out the window and watch the world below. If you join her in this past time, she’ll be cuddling up with you in no time. She even enjoys being picked up and held close to you while you’re gazing together. She is a treat motivated and fast learner, especially with Blue Buffalo Turkey Training Treats or the best of all… real turkey slices! Greenies are also a favorite treat! She is working on not jumping up as well as facing her fears of busy intersections, which can make her skittish. However, she is getting more comfortable with cars every passing day! While she tends to get some zoomies before bed time, once she settles, she’ll let you sleep through the night! She has never woken her foster human up, and even after a morning alarm goes off, will continue to rest on her bed until she’s said “good morning” too! This sweet girl would do best in a calm and loving home! She’ll also make a great outdoor buddy for an active owner that enjoys long walks or hikes as much as she does! Meet Chef Louie! Chef is an adorable boy with big puppy paws. He is extremely loving and affectionate and loves attention. Chef has a healing skin rash from mites caused by living outside as an unwanted puppy. This explains the white spots on his body - they’re areas of exposed skin due to hair loss from the infection. However, good news! His hair is growing back! Chef is healing very fast from the infection and barely has any irritated skin left. He does get itchy every once in a while (typically his bum and legs) and loves to be soothed with coconut oil. Despite his hard puppyhood, Chef is an overly cooperative puppy and a great listener. Bath time is a breeze and he doesn’t mind the water. He is very grateful for some scratches on his itchy spots while he’s getting washed. Chef is already house trained and rarely has accidents. He truly prefers to keep his home clean! Chef is a quick learner and rarely needs to be told “No” more than once. He does not bark or bite. You will quickly notice how smart he is! Chef loves play time, but snuggles are his love language. His favorite toys are chew toys - he still has some puppy teeth! He is also very intelligent and loves toys that involve puzzles or a hidden treat. When he’s not playing, Chef is a bundle of love. It is very common for him to approach you with a light head bump or brush against your legs, meaning he wants to snuggle. If you’re sitting on the ground, Chef will gladly crawl in your lap and fall asleep. He also loves to be carried around like a big baby! Chef does well on walks and with a leash. He even gets excited to put on his raincoat! Chef is a little shy around other dogs. He will sit and watch them, but rarely approaches them. It is obvious that he is curious about other dogs, but seems a little apprehensive to play. Chef loves all people and will go up to strangers for a pet! He has given us no reason to worry about being around other pets or people.  If given the option, Chef would love to sleep on the couch, but he has learned to spend most of his rest time lounging in his pet bed. He loves his sleep and does not cry or bark. Be sure to have a rug/blanket/something soft on the floor in every room he is allowed in - he has a sensitive spot on his bum and is uncomfortable sitting on hard floor. Coming from life outside in GA, Chef did not encounter many sets of stairs. Upon his arrival in NY, he did not know how to use a staircase and was very scared of them. But he is learning! Chef will go up and down stairs with a little vocal encouragement! He might still stumble a bit every so often, but he’s getting the hang of it!  If you’re looking for an easy, calm, affectionate puppy who loves snuggles, Chef might be your gentle giant! Christina Aguilera is such a good girl!  All she wants is to cuddle up to you play in the house.  She has been going to the bathroom outside most of the time and sleeping in her crate at night.  If you leave a wee wee pad out she will usually go on it if you haven’t taken her outside to go the bathroom.  She is good on the leash and enjoys walking just not too far yet as she is still learning the area she is in now.  Has been getting along with my cousins dachshund perfectly as well and I don’t see a problem with this dog being around anything such as kids, cats and other dogs. Hi I’m Demi Lovato, a smiley pup named after the pop star.  I recently made my way up to New York City from Georgia and I love going outside and exploring.  I am getting better on the leash, sometimes I pull or zigzag because there are so many exciting smells.  My human tried to get me to run after a ball in a park but I’m not sure how I feel about that yet.  I am good about going to the bathroom outside only.  My favorite thing to do is to lay on top or next to my human, I'm a real couch potato.  I enjoy a good bone to chew on and am starting to play with other toys.  My human is starting to work on basic commands since I haven’t been taught any yet.  I am doing better when my human leaves me since I know she always comes back!  My human said how exciting it is that my playful personality is coming out more and more everyday. I am such a loving puppy I hope I find my forever family soon and can smother (and sit on) them with all my love.  ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract.
