About Scout
Scout and Shae are a super sweet and affectionate 5 year old bonded pair of Goldendoodles (brother and sister) that must be adopted together. They were surrendered to GRRACE when their family had a change in circumstances and could no longer give them the care and attention they deserved. These two want nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch with their new owners.
Scout could play fetch all day while Shae typically likes to just wander and explore the yard/garden so a fenced in yard would be ideal for these two. They both love to go for walks but are still learning their leash manners. They also know their basic commands but could use some consistent training. Because they love to play with toys, but are both experts at finding the squeakers and removing all stuffing, tougher toys are best for these two.
Scout does require someone with a relatively predictable schedule as he has epilepsy that requires medication 2x a day. His seizures are well controlled on the medication and he has no issues taking his pills, but it is important that he gets the medication at the specified times.
At 5 years old they are perfectly house broken and have pretty much grown out of their puppy energy Being litter mates, they can get a little rambunctious with each other at times. They are great with people but due to their size and Scout being a little clumsy (Scout 82lbs and Shae 60lbs) they may do better in a home with children over 7. They are also great with cats. They have done fine in their foster home when left alone.
Scout and Shae being goldendoodles need regular grooming and love being brushed. They are great in the car and are looking for owners who will give them lots of love and attention.
This is a bonded pair and hopefully will be adopted together.
