Meet Bette Davis: Bette Davis is a 3-4 year old female terrier-lab mix who is 40-50 lbs. Bette is a fun and energetic girl who loves water of all kinds! Bette gets along with people and dogs, but prefers not to share her food with other pooches. Bette is the life of the party and wants nothing more than your time and attention, though she wouldn't turn down a pool (kiddie or otherwise). Bette is up to date on all of her vaccines, has been spayed, and is ready to find her forever family.  Bette is currently in a loving foster home in Lancaster, PA.  Bette would do well in a home with children old enough to understand not take take treats or food from her, ideally age 8+. Meet Brynn:  Brynn is a sweet 2 year old (as of February 2023) Lab/Pit mix that weighs around 40 lbs. Brynn and her two puppies (Brooklyn and Brinks) were living in a ditch behind a gas station when they were rescued. Her pups have found their forever home and now it’s her turn! Brynn is a happy and very loving girl that gets along great with other dogs and loves people. Brynn has a very sweet personality and wants nothing more than to be loved. Brynn loves to snuggle or be by your side - she can be a bit stubborn and won’t take no snuggles for an answer, so she will work her way in to be sure she gets to snuggle with you. Brynn forms tight bonds with her people and will be loyal and can be protective of them. Although Brynn has her sweet disposition, we think an experienced owner will be best for her. Meet Buddy:  Buddy is a cute boxer mix that is around 18 months old and weighs 43 pounds. Buddy was found as a stray coming up to a business when we were called to come and rescue him. Buddy has a very playful and sweet personality, loving everyone that he comes into contact with. But he gets along with other dogs and loves children. Buddy loves to play ball or to snuggle with you on the couch. Buddy is house, trained and leash trained. Buddy is very active loves to run in the yard and will require a fenced in yard. Meet Buddy:  Buddy is an adorable 2 year old Lab/Hound mix.  Buddy is a very friendly and happy boy that loves to play and run with his toys.   Buddy does really well with dogs, people and children.  Buddy has been in his current home for 18 months and just recently Buddy and the older dog in the home are not getting along.  The family is very upset becasue they love Buddy but cannot keep both dogs together.  They say Buddy is a great dog, very smart and knows several commands.  They also said Buddy loves to be held and cuddled. Buddy will need a fenced in yard and a family that can spend lots of time with him. Meet Carmella (aka Peanut): Carmella is a 11 week old (as of October 30, 2023) hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 10 pounds. This lucky hound litter of 7 (Pervis Wayne, Delagene, Yolanda, Peanut Butter, Quinn, Carmella and Charlotte) was born on the correct property!  Their mom was a stray that wandered up to a safe location to have her litter and the property owners have decided to take in mommy and reached out for help in finding her pups great homes! Carmella is currently being fostered in the York, PA area and would love to meet her forever family. Carmella is your typical happy, curious, playful pup! As a puppy, Carmella will need some patience while she works on her house training. We would love for Carmella to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely! Meet Chico: Chico is about a 2 year old (as of November 2023) pit bull terrier mix (best guess) that weighs about 35 pounds. Chico was rescued from a shelter after making their euthanasia list. We are so happy we got this sweet boy in time! Chico clearly had a tough time in the past - it is evident that someone took their scissors to his ears to try to do a home dock job. Luckily it doesn’t phase him that he’s missing the top parts of his ears and we think he’s super handsome either way! Chico is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Chico is a fun loving, sweet boy who is always ready to party! Chico easily will become your best bud! He is very interested in everything around him and is always interested in being involved with the activity.  Chico will need a fenced in yard, preferably with a privacy fence…if he sees a party next door, he will try to go join in. With his build, we recommend always keeping a martingale collar on him in case he starts to pull to the next fun event. Chico likes to play with other dogs but we would suggest an older (mid aged) who still has energy but that can correct him without a fight; he does listen, but like any teenager, he pushes him limits to see when no means no. Chico has been ok around the indoor cats he has been with.  They sleep on top of his wire kennel with their tails hanging down in the slats and he doesn’t mind at all. Chico’s favorite treat are McDonald’s French fries; he LOVES them!  Chico has a sweet temperament and is soft mouthed when taking treats. Chico seems to be house trained. Chico is up to date on his shots and neutered. Meet Chip: Chip is 6 months old and guessed to be a pit / lab mix that weighs around 25 pounds (the smallest of the litter). Chip and his litter mates (Belle, Prince, Hunter, Magic, Maurice, Maestro, Phillipe and FiFi) were rescued from being sold out of the back of a pickup truck at a grocery store. Chip is currently in a loving foster home in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to meet more prospective families. This Beauty and the Beast litter is your typical group of very sweet, loving, curious, happy pups! They all love to eat, play, snuggle and sleep. We expect this group of pups to be a medium size (mom is about 40 pounds). As a puppy, Chip is doing great on his house training. Meet Clark: Clark is about a 1 year old (as of September 2023) black mouth cur mix (best guess) that weighs about 55 pounds. Clark was found with his partner, Lewis, rummaging through the trash by animal control. They were picked up and we were able to recently get them into our rescue. Clark is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Lewis and Clark are both so sweet and overall great dogs! We aren’t sure if they are siblings or not. They are good pals, but we do not believe they are bonded. Clark is curious and loving. He is good with other dogs. Clark likes going for walks, playing with toys, and being by your side. Clark is currently in an outside kennel, so we are unsure on his house training status, however he walks well on a leash. We would love for Clark to have a home with a fence so he can play and run freely. Clark is up to date on his shots and neutered. Meet Daisy: Daisy is about a 4 year old (as of October 2023) blue pit mix (best guess) that weighs 47 pounds. Daisy had a bad break in life which left her in a shelter, on the euthanasia list and with an unrepairable right back leg. We luckily got her into our rescue and she received the love and medical care she needed. Since the leg amputation in fall 2023, she has healed beautifully! Daisy is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Daisy is all her name implies; pretty, friendly sweet and warm. Daisy is a true companion that likes to sit outside with her person, cuddle anywhere and watch the world go by. Daisy is quiet when you first meet her. She responds well to a deep quiet voice and movements. We believe Daisy could handIe children as long as they are respectful of her. Daisy’s ideal home would be a quieter house that has a family with a routine. Daisy walks GREAT on a leash. She would love to accompany you on a daily walk, stroll to an outdoor cafe with friends and then finish the day out with zoomies around a fenced in back yard! Since her amputation, Daisy now loads in and out of cars like a champ and has resumed her love of lightning fast zoomies in the back yard. She likes to chill with you, but if she sees a fast moving squirrel, cat or bird out back, she will be ready to go. Daisy is a young dog with an old soul who loves soft blankets and pillows. Daisy is house trained - she will let you know before she needs to go outside. Daisy is up to date on her shots and spayed. Meet Dew Drop: Dew Drop is about 9 months old (as of October 2023) and is a lab/hound mix and weighs about 38 pounds. Dew Drop was found as a stray in Mississippi with her presumed brother, Daltry. Dew Drop is now being fostered near the Lancaster, PA area and is ready for her forever home! Her foster mom says she is very sweet, gentle, loves affection and cuddling on the couch. She has a moderate energy level. She loves people and other dogs. Dew Drop loves to go for walks, but needs some work with her leash training, as she likes to zig-zag. We wouldn't recommend a home with cats, as she's a little too curious about the foster's rabbits. Dew Drop can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and shows nothing but love! Dew Drop sleeps all night long in her cozy crate and has nearly perfectly her potty training - just a few excited tinkles here and there. Dew Drop still gets a little scared in the car (drooly and queasy) but we're hoping she grows out of this with the help of lots of positive reinforcement. We would love for Dew Drop to have a home with a 5' fence (as she can jump a 4' fence) so she can play and run freely.  Dew Drop is up to date on her shots and has been spayed. Meet Ejay: Ejay is a 10 month old (as of July 2023) terrier mix that weighs about 45 pounds. Ejay was found at a local shelter and was on the euthanasia list. We are so glad we got this young guy in time! Ejay is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ejay is super cuddly and friendly! Ejay loves all other dogs and does really well with kids! Ejay is crate trained and working on his house training. What is an active guy so he will need a fenced in yard to run and play freely.
