About Jace
Please read the entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application. Thank you!**
Meet Jace (formerly "Ace"), an approx. 5 month old lab mix who is looking for his family! Jace is about 30 pounds and is fostered here in New England. He's great with kids and cats but would prefer an older, calm dog in the house or to be your one and only love!
Please note: The information provided is based on our Southern partner's feedback we have been given as of the day of posting. HHAR does not guarantee the breed mix of any dog or the adult size of any puppy. Any breed(s) listed are the veterinarian’s opinion based on the information they have, usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a Super mutt! All dogs are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. Any dog adopted from HHAR will require professional training once adopted to become the best family member they can be. Our dogs are rescued from high-kill situations in the South and brought to New England for foster and/or adoption. We are entirely volunteer-run and foster-based, so we do not have a physical facility for you to visit or call, and we cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken, crate trained, or cat/kid-tested. To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must fill out an adoption application. To learn more about our shelterless rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website. Pre-approved adopters can arrange a meet and greet for dogs over 6 months old who are already in New England, and the adopter is expected to travel to the dog's location. Applications must be submitted for consideration. We estimate it can be up to a week before you hear from one of our volunteers, depending on the volume at the time of submission. Thank you!
