About Grayson

Adoption Fee: $75.00

They call me Grayson.  Everyone who sees me says "OMG, what a beautiful cat!  Don't they know I am an alpha male?  I am Handsome, and I know it.

When we first meet, I may be a little nonchalant.  But, if I like you, I just might sit next to you or, if I really like you, I’ll sit on your lap and allow you to massage me.  I know what you’ll say when you touch me, "His fur is so luxurious".  I take very good care of my appearance.  There’s a lot of pressure when your only outfit is a velvet, gray tuxedo.

My friend, Oscar, is my best bud.  We’d like to stay together, if possible.  As I said, I’m an alpha male.  He’s not.  So he lets me be the boss.

Sometimes, I get very scared and I act crazy.  The first time I went inside, I freaked out and went berserk.  But, now, I love being inside where it is safe and clean and my paws stay much cleaner using a litterbox than digging in the dirt.

Although I may take a little time to trust you, I am a very loving, gentle companion.  If you don’t have any other pets, Oscar and I would love to be a part of your family.

I am FIV+, but don't let that scare you - I can live safely with spayed/neutered, FIV- cats inside without any problems. Ask my adoption screener and she can give you all the information you need. You can also Google FIV+ cats and learn about us. We are awesome cats!! Seriously? Do I look unhealthy? Do I look like a cat that fights? Of course not!!  I can't wait to meet you!!

This is Possum, a 1-2 year old tortie who was found as an injured stray by animal control.  Possum had severe injuries to her eyes -they were causing her extreme pain and she could not see so we made the decision to remove them.  Posssum's other senses have been heightened and she is navigating the world just fine now.  She needs to be initially brought to her where her food/water bowls and litterbox are located and then she will go back to them on her own.  Possum is very sweet and was obviously someone's cat at some point.  She is playful but also enjoys laying next to her humans, just relaxing.  She would be an ideal pet for an apartment or more confined living space as she could be tempted to hide in very wide open spaces.  She seems to be OK with other pets as long as she introduced properly.  Possum is up to date with shots, declawed, spayed, negative for FeLV/FIV and litterbox trained.  If you would like to adopt Possum, please submit an adoption application at Adoption fee is $75 and includes all veterinary care We prescreen all applicants prior to a meeting.  To be screened, please submit an adoption application at We do allow out of state adoptions.  However, we DO NOT ship nor transport sight unseen pets for many reasons.  We require travel in person adoption. show less
