Meet Avila! Avila is a sweet, highly trainable puppy searching for her forever home. She does not have a mean bone in her body and enjoys playing with humans (children included!) and other dogs. Walks and park visits are appreciated as she loves to socialize, run around and expel her puppy energy; however, she might just be happiest to cuddle up next to you and sack out. She quickly learned how to potty outside and is comfortable with being in a crate, although she should not be left for too long as she is very attached to her person, and would rather be with you than alone. She's thrilled with any and all toys, but food and treats are the biggest motivator of them all. She will make a fantastic companion to someone who is lucky enough to adopt her! Luna is an incredibly smart sassy girl. She will sit herself and her big belly upright, and look straight through you with her deep black eyes and get what she wants. She is quick to learn new things and will let you know if she’s hungry or if she just wants to play. She loves to chill and cuddle and will sleep in the cutest positions. Consider yourself lucky if this bright star becomes your future companion. She is amazing with other dogs, since she cant get enough game time and kisses from the dog of her foster parents. Meet Baxter! Baxter is an 8 month old puppy who is quick to love and eager to please. Baxter loves playing, cuddles, kisses, pets, treats, bones and toys. Baxter will scoot as close as possible to you when you are lounging on the couch and goes crazy for a good belly rub. Baxter loves all people; he gets the strong case of “wiggle butt” and urge to give many kisses when seeing his human friends. He loves saying hello to people on the street too! He is a great city dog, as happy walking on loud busy nyc streets as he is on quiet roads. He also has the perfect energy level. He is calm during down time and full of energy when its time to play or go on walks. He does well on runs but tires out just as well from walks. When it comes to training, Baxter is house trained. He is potty trained, can sleep in crates at night without a problem, does not chew on things, respects your meals. However, two things Baxter needs to work on are leash training and socializing with other dogs. While Baxter has not been properly leash trained, his behavior has already had tremendous improvements with patience and positive reinforcement. After only a few days he knows commands like “come” and “sit”. Unfortunately, Baxter can be anxious around other dogs. Baxter will need to socialize more with dogs who are very calm and good with other dogs. With some patience and love, Baxter will be an intelligent and fun loving dog for all! Betta is very easy going and affectionate. She spends a lot of time napping and socializing with others in the apartment. She may wake you up with a couple of licks to the ear- but she’s so well behaved and very low maintenance. Betta still gets nervous outside of the apartment, but becoming increasingly confident everyday. We’ve only had her for 4-5 days and the progress is huge!
