About Bergman

Adoption Fee: $150

Bergman, from the movie star litter, makes cute chirping sounds! She is shy and will need time to adjust to new surroundings. She would also be happier if she could be adopted with one of her siblings for companionship.  Bergman is a beautiful Tuxedo, and she loves playing with toys that dangle.  Her siblings are Hepburn and Gable.  Gable and Bergman are currently hanging out with Madison, Harra and Kahlua as well and all get along nicely after a couple days of space together in a large room.  They will be attending our adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, 6-8pm Wedneday and 12-4pm, Saturday.

Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens.  All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated (whatever they can have in the period they are in our care, some will still need additional vaccines after adoption), given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us.

Hello!  This is Scout, isn’t he adorable?!  He LOOKS like a miniature Australian Shepherd, but frankly, his breed is more accurately classified as “miniature norwegian horntail dragon.”  Being a dragon, Scout does have a bite history.  However, Prozac and love have lulled him into the belief that he can mostly get his way through cuteness and good behavior.  And dang it, if he isn’t right about that!  Scouts new family will need to set good boundaries. If you’re up for earning a loyal companion, Scout would like to get to know you, sleep on your couch and in your bed, and accompany you on walks.  He doesn’t want to meet your friends at the bar (he was social distancing before it was cool), and he doesn’t want wild parties at your/his house every weekend.  He does want a routine, a quiet home, a good supply of stuffies and a nice rug or carpet to rub his belly on.  In return, Scout won’t damage your home or things, will DEFINITELY let you know when the UPS truck arrives and promises to greet you at the door with his current favorite stuffie each time you arrive home. Scout rides well in the car and is housebroken. He also loves walks and we suspect he would enjoy some agility. Scout has A LOT to say, especially when he is left alone or separated from you, so apartment life is not where he belongs. Please consider taking our Scout-a-roo and loving him to bits and pieces.  Fill out an app at mpravl.org  show less

BONDED PAIR: Simba is a handsome, large, orange boy. He is quiet, but more outgoing than his bonded brother, Ninja. Often times, Simba will stand on his hind legs and caress his person with outstretched arms.  He loves to utilize a variety of scratching toys : sisal posts and carpeted cat posts, and is fond of playing with the little plastic strips that are on gallon containers of milk & water. Given the opportunity, I think both Simba and Ninja would be accepting of another cat or older quiet dog.  Simba has what seems to be an old eye injury that flared up recenty.  With a few days of a steroid drop, it cleared up but there could be a recurrence on occassion.  There is a surgery that could be done if it became an ongoing issue not managed by medication and we can explain that further to any potential adopter.   Simba loves to play with bottle caps. He rather have this over toys! Simba is a very quiet cat, sometimes you don't know he's even around! He gets startled easily around loud noises. He is good around kids as long as they are not to loud or otherwise he will go and hide. Simba and NInja were recently returned due to no fault of their own.  They have been together since they were adopted from MPR as kittens in June of 2021.  Meet them at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, on Saturday from 12-4pm.  They are currently in a foster home.     All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated (whatever they can have in the period they are in our care, some will still need additional vaccines after adoption), given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us.     Apply to adopt to coordinate a meet and greet with this lovely pair of boys! show less
