About Tweedle Dee

Adoption Fee: $175.00

‘TWEEDLE DEE’ is a precious, solid black, domestic short hair, female kitten born on 3/18/2022 along with her 5 adorable brothers. Tweedle Dee will soon be ready for placement into a loving, forever home. Tweedle Dee and her siblings are all healthy, active, affectionate and playful kittens! Tweedle Dee and her littermates have tested negative for both FIV and FELV. These kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations and treatments.

If you are interested in pursuing the adoption of Tweedle Dee as a single kitten or along with one of her littermates, please carefully read the information below before completing PAW’s Cat Adoption Application. PAW’s Cat Adoption Application can be reached by following this link: http://www.paw-rescue.org/adopt or using the “Adopt” button on this kitten’s profile page.

Once Tweedle Dee has reached the acceptable weight and age, adopters will be responsible for scheduling a follow up veterinarian appointment for their kitten/s to receive their required Rabies Vaccination.

PAW’s ‘Cat Adoption Team’ typically prioritizes applicants interested in adopting young kittens as a pair and adopters with a resident cat at home already; however all applications will be thoughtfully considered and these kittens can be adopted as a single addition to your home and family.

Due to their small, fragile size and nature at this young age, PAW’s ‘Cat Adoption Team’ generally discourages the adoption of very young kittens to homes with children under 8 years old.

The Kitten Adoption Donation Fee is $175.00 for each kitten adopted.

Due to the COVID pandemic, once an adoption application has been approved and selected, we will conduct a virtual ‘Meet and Greet’ via Zoom, Facetime, or another video conferencing platform. Since adopters are unable to meet our rescue cats in person, PAW is honoring a 2-week trial adoption period to ensure the match you’ve made is perfect! If you have questions, please contact Natalie at catadoptions@paw-rescue.org.

As an all volunteer organization we do our very best to review and respond to Adoption Applications as well as general Inquiries in a timely manner. However, we genuinely appreciate your patience as it often takes several days to a week to complete this process. Once an application is received, reviewed and approved, a volunteer will be in touch with you as quickly as possible!

****COURTESY POST*******Please Note: Brinx can be adopted through Best DAWG Rescue. I want love…NOW (please)! Hey, everybody. I have been called a teddy bear, a love bug, a piglet…and more! My mommy had me with her for over three years, and then one day she handed my leash to a nice lady, and she disappeared. I cried, I waited, I looked around every day, but she was gone. I am so sad that I still cry out loud for her. People always come running and try to make me happy, but they don’t know what could help. Can I tell you? I want someone who treats me just like she did. You know, like a puppy. I want love and cuddles and fun and stuff to do. In the meantime, I get so attached to anyone in my life that I sob if they aren’t around. I’m a mess. If you think you could make me the star of your life, I promise I will be a good boy. Ok, well, I might growl at a dog or two at times (they ALWAYS start it), and sometimes I pretend that I can’t hear you. I would really like a fenced yard if you live in a house. I am ok without a crate now that I’m a big boy (except I’m told I’m a little guy and a “runt” — very confusing!). I don’t care about other dogs and don’t like to share! I just want YOU. Do you think you could want ME? If you have the time to give to Brinx, please send us an email via dawg@dawg-rescue.org! Better, please apply online through our website, www.dawg-rescue.org. Note that we do not accept electric fences and place dogs only in the DC metro area. If you wish to meet Brinx, we will require an application. Meetings occur from time to time, outside, at a generally convenient location. They are not arranged every week, but we try to accommodate as quickly as possible. show less

Carlos is small, all grey male who was rescued from an outdoor colony nearly a year ago. After being in the shelter for more than 6 months, PAW pulled him and brought him to a foster home where he could decompress and mellow into his true self. We know that Carlos wants attention - when he was in the shelter, he'd meow for someone to come over, but then when they did, he was anxious. He was so anxious that he would scratch himself on his face which left a scar that doesn't seem to want to grow hair back. We know it's from the scratching because he's been thoroughly tested negative for ringworm or other skin aliments and isn't itching anywhere else. He's come out of his shell a bit in the last 6 weeks that he's been in his foster home. He is very food motivated and his foster mom has been using treats to gain his trust. It's important to Carlos' long term happiness that he have a kitty companion or two - he really loves the other animals in the home and their companionship. Carlos uses scratching posts and has had no litterbox issues. He is up to date on his vaccinations, negative for FIV/Felv, and is neutered and microchipped. If you would like to meet Carlos via a Facetime or Zoom video call, as well as ask questions about him, please complete the application here: www.paw-rescue.org/adopt and we will be in touch.
