About Bev

Adoption Fee: $150 Senior

Do you remember the old country song “Close Enough to Perfect for Me”?  Well, that describes Bev.  She is house trained and crate trained.  She's quiet, walks well on her leash, and is smarter than a lot of people I know (!).   She is perfect for someone working from home and for someone who has to be gone alot because she can stay alone without any problem.  Her only request is that she be an only “child”.  So are you the perfect parent for her?

This sweet boy is never far away. Always with a ball in his mouth too. He's also officially live! Acey is looking for his furever home!  Ace is a two year old pit. He is fixed and hw free. Loves to play with my other pitbull but his first love is destroying tennis balls. He is super sweet and affectionate. You'll never find a pup that loves to cuddle as much as him. He will also never say no to a car ride either. He is crate trained and housebroken. Unsure how he is with kids, cats, or small dogs. He is a little skidish at first with people but gets over it within minutes! Would probably do well with a dog that is older than him. He follows Bellas lead on almost everything. – About Renegade Paws Rescue: Renegade Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-based organization dedicated to providing the highest level of care for unwanted, abused or injured dogs in the Coastal Empire and surrounding areas. Adoption Process: Complete an online application via our website or for a specific dog or cat using Petfinder. Completing an online application is the first step and does not obligate you in any way. An adoption coordinator will contact you. Applications are regularly reviewed, but please allow up to one week for processing. Once you have spoken to an adoption coordinator, we’ll call your references and veterinarian to ensure that your current/previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for. For renters, we’ll check with your landlord to verify applicable pet policies, and whether there are any size or breed restrictions. Due to Covid-19, home checks are currently virtual. If everything looks good and you want to proceed, we will arrange a Meet and Greet. We require all members of the adopter's household, including current dogs, to meet our adoptable pets in person and therefore prioritize applicants in the Savannah, GA area. After a successful Meet and Greet, with all parties agreed, we will complete your adoption with a contract, payment, and transfer of medical records. It is our hope that adopters will join our community of adopted Renegades by participating in pack walks (for the dogs), providing updates, and keeping in touch with foster families! show less

Applesauce (better known as AJ) has championed all attributes of your typical lab girl while still adding her own undeniably unique twist to the mix: •    AJ is immensely sweet and loves to love. Everyone is an instant friend. Dogs, cats, and humans of all ages alike. Her best friend is an 11-year-old human boy whose bed she chooses to sleep in every night. She is the most loyal of dogs and loves her tribe with all her might. Nothing compares to a proper snuggle. •    AJ is goofy and at times the most adorable of airheads. Sorting her legs and staying focused on anything but fun is tough work and simply not always prioritized. Because… •    AJ is a fun-loving adventurer who knows how to turn up the volume and cause the grass in her backyard to feel dizzy from of all her zoomies. She loves to play catch or tug-of-war, run fast with her foster siblings, or stay active with you. Despite working hard and successfully on her leash manners during her short time in foster care, AJ will need a forever-someone dedicated to continued training. Nothing major… it’s all just a matter of reeling all of her excitement back in and teaching her confidence out there in the big, wide world.  •    Behind all of her goofiness also lies an extremely smart girl. AJ is super motivated to work for treats or toys. Food is her love language and will get those brain cells of hers rattling into a straight line again. One of her favorite pastimes is puzzle toys, closely followed by peanut butter lick mats. She loves a good challenge or relaxing snack. She does know how to relax and wait patiently in her crate for her foster family to return from work and school.  All in all, AJ is a rockstar and gem of a dog. Her gentle demeanor and carefree joy are infectious and something her future home will undoubtedly cherish beyond measure. show less
