About Toby

Adoption Fee: $250

Toby is a fantastic boy! He is 4-5 years old and weighs about 40 lbs a great medium size! Breed Guess Cattle dog or Red Heeler.

Toby loves to play with toys, run in the yard and be with his people Toby didn't always have that growing up. He was found tied outside in the woods. He was at Paulding Animal control for a while before coming to rescue. We got him neutered and vetted but found out he was positive for heartworms. Thank goodness he got rescue help, Heartworm treatment can be expensive. Toby went through heartworm treatment and was cleared through the vet. Toby is forever home ready!!!

He is crate trained, walks well on leash. knows basic commands. Great with other dogs.

At adoption events he can be found just chilling out on leash near foster mom. Such a good boy!

Anyone looking for a 30lb bed hog??!! Bonnie is 1-2 years old. A beautiful pointer/terrier mix (best guess). She enjoys snuggles and cuddles and hanging out with the other dogs. She doesn’t bother the cats in her foster home. Bonnie came to us after living her life outside with dozens of other dogs. She loves other dogs but was not socialized with people. Bonnie had been with us now 10 months and still learning. But was a soooo pleased with her progress. She still takes a little time to warm up to new people. But once she knows you can be trusted, she is all snuggles. She is not crate trained, absolutely terrified of the crate but does well just hanging out in her "safe room" on the bed or couch. A safe room is just a non traditional crate, It's a spare room in the house she goes to when no one is home or when new people are over. Bonnie needs a special home: She will need a patient person/family that will give her time to trust. Bonnie would do best in a home with another playful dog that could take the lead and show her the ways of the home. She freezes on leash, and will not potty on leash, so she will need a home with a fenced in yard. Mostly she need love and lots of snuggles. Bonnie loves to curl up on the bed and take naps. If you are interested in learning more about Bonnie send us a message or To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic Adoption fee $250 Bonnie is Spayed, up to date on vaccines, micro chipped and heart worm negative. show less

** going through heartworm treatment*** 3 year old Derek is such a love. He is a little uncomfortable in new situations, but once he knows you, he will be your shadow for life. Derek's family was living out of thier car,  Derek was given a few weeks with a place to stay. His owners never came back for him and stopped returning calls. Derek went to the shelter, where he was scared. Once he got to foster care, that fear started melting away. He got into a routine and was house trained and crate trained in no time. He does great with most of the dogs in his foster home big and small, but in not a fan of dogs that like to get in his crate or bowl and can be vocal about it. We have started feeding him in his crate so he can be a little more comforatble. He was vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and heartworm tested. Ready to go!!! .....and then his heartworm test came back posiitve. Derek has started treatment for heartworms. He has started doxicylcine for 30 days, then he will need 30 days no med before is first injection  mid January. After his heartworm injection he will need crate rest, leash walking and lots of snuggles followed by another injection 4 weeks later with more crate rest, leash walking and extra snuggles. Derek won't be done with Heartworm treatment and recovery until MARCH!!!! That is a long time to be in foster care watiing for happy ever after. So we decided that if we can find someone who is comfortable enough to help Derek go through treatment, we would let him go to his forever home as a foster to adopt. Heartworm treatment is paid for already just need someone who will follow all the instructions and love him every step of the way. Diamond!! This girl is so full of personailty. She will keep you on your feet, or possibly knock you over with kisses!!! Diamond is almost 2 years old, about 55-60lbs athletic built. She is a mixed breed. I see Pitty in her face but her long, tall kangaroo legs and longer thicker coat could be possible husky. She will keep you on your toes while knocking you over with kisses. She is good with most dogs. She would also be okay as an only dog as long as she had plenty of toys to play with. Not sure on cats. She is excited to see kids and will run to them. But has not spent enough time with children to see interactions. She gets very excited and would probably knock over a small kid easily. 8 years old and up would be preferred. We continue to work with Diamond everyday, while embracing all the amazing things that makes Diamond, Diamond.Diamond came to rescue as a crazy out of control, fence jumper, with extreme crate anxiety and separation anxiety. We were up for a challenge! adoption fee is $200. Diamond is fully vetted: vaccines, spayed, microchipped, tested negative for heartworms. She was fully vetted in August, but she was a hot mess and would need a gem like herself to adopt her otherwise she would quickly be returned. So we worked with her, we learned her quirks and we have fallen in love with her. Diamond is still a puppy at just over a year old and has lots of puppy energy. She has periods where she is energetic and playful and other times where she Just want to snuggle and be nearby. She thrive with consistency, structure and routines. First thing in the morning she is excited as soon as you open the door. She is ready to go out and run some energy out. She loves to play with her puppy friends, chase tennis balls and brings them back, frolic with a stuffy and play tug of war with a rope, leash, or tutu. After ten mins she is ready to come inside to eat breakfast and be with the family. Inside she looks for where her people are hanging out and wants to be on the bed with you, laying at for feet while your are working, or just hanging out near by. She gets a treat each time she goes into her crate. Frozen peanut kongs for long hours the days the foster family goes to work. She will rest quietly in her crate until the foster family gets home. She will be so excited to see you when you return home from a long day. She will go outside to potty but quickly run to you and possibly knock you over with hugs and kisses. When you pet she she will fall to the ground, roll over on her back and smile The kind of smile that can melt away all the stresses of a long work day. A lot of work has been put into Diamond to get her where she is today. The first obstacle was crate anxiety, we had to keep her safe! She busted her way through a few crates before our heavy duty puzzle lock crate came in. Knowing that she cannot escape she started calming in the crate and learning it was a safe place to hang out while foster mom was not there. Foster mom was able to sleep better too knowing she wasn’t getting into things and chewing things that could be unsafe. She requires a heavy duty crate to keep her contained. She would not be for someone that doesn’t believe in crate training or doesn’t use the crate properly. The crate is there to keep her safe while waiting for her family to come home! Fence jumping was the next obstacle, she will clear a 6 ft fence in seconds flat. She enjoys her supervised fenced time/playtime and has learned to go to the gate and paws at it when she wants to come back inside. She will still jump the fence but only if she see a puppy friend outside or a worker’s truck with all the doors open inviting her to take a car ride. We Love car rides, she gets so excited seeing new things, jumps hopes right in as soon as you open the door. We have spent a lot of time on leash walking. She still needs a little fine tuning and often times she will grab the middle of the leash in an effort to walk herself. Just part of her Diamond charm.  To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic show less

He’s an easy dog, gets along with all my fosters big and small. Fine with the cats and loves people. He is very friendly and will reach out for affection.  Best Guess: Rat terrier about 20-22lbs but tall and lengthy not fat. 12 years old with good energy still. He is housetrained with no accidents as long as you stick to the routine you two come up with. I admit I was two hours late for our night time after dinner potty break and he had an accident but that was on me. I normallly don’t crate my seniors instead they  hang out in the living room that has tile floors for east clean up. Iggy has extreme crate anxiety (like rub his nose till it bleeds and pull your teeth out trying to escape anxiety. 2 hours in the crate when he first got here and I realized I had to have a different plan for Iggy.) The only quirk I have noticed is he doesn’t like when he is picked up under his front arms. But if you swoop him up from the side and carry him he is fine. Something I have noticed trying to help him get up on the couch with me. However he doesn’t really need help getting up on the couch he can and often jumps up on his own. The couch is his preferred spot to sit. He likes to curl up in the corner of the couch on top of the two pillows to be as comfy as possible. Hey he deserves all the comforts in life. Vetting: Hw negative, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Senior bloodwork is good minus still that is normal for dental disease. Iggy came to rescue with horrble teeth. He had a dental and they pulled all but 2 teeth. With two teeth, I would figure he would want canned food, and he does, but he will also go around and eat any dry kibble dropped on the floor or left over in someone's dish. After a month of being back in foster care, JuniPurr is back at the Petco cat house. She is on the prowl for her forever family. What we have learned about JuniPurr... She likes to be an inside/outside kitty. She likes to go outside in the mornings and will be waiting in the driveway for you when you return back home. However she does not like to go out on cold or rainy days only when the weather is purr-fect. She does okay with other cats, but needs slow introductions. She had been an only cat for most her life, so she is a little rusty on cat social skills. Dogs she is still not a fan of. Junipurr wants to be the center of attention. She can loud and vocal about it. She wants to help you cook, clean, fix things... She has to be involved in everything. She likes to perch up high and can often times be found on railings, counter, bookshelves... She LOVES canned food and treats, but we have had to limit her because once she started eating canned food, she wouldn't eat her dry anymore. Most importantly, we have learned that JuniPurr is sooo sweet and loving! If you are looking for a cat that will follow you around and demand your attention, Junipurr is the cat for you. Adoption Fee is $125 JuniPurr is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and combo tested negative.
