Agustin "Auggie" and Alma are a bonded pair of cockatiels looking for a loving home. They do not do well separated although Auggie does come out of the cage and explores the room and Alma is fine as long as she knows he is close by. Auggie loves a bit too much and has plucked Alma bald. They came from a hoarding situation where they didn't have much enrichment and had stressful conditions. We are hoping with proper enrichment and time out of the cage, Auggie will now find some other ways to entertain himself. Damage to Alma's follicles may be too intense to grow feathers again. Time and the next molt will be telling. Alma has been pretty quiet, but lately has been walking around her cage more and has even decided to come out a few times. She is missing a foot, so requires flat perches and a low long cage  because she falls off her perch often. She can perch on round perches so some natural ones should be provided, but the flat ones are easier for sleeping. Dishes low to the floor are easier for her to eat as bending over and balancing on a perch to get to a dish is difficult. She is fully flighted but is still building up her muscles and lung power from being cage-bound for so long. Neither is hand tamed and are still working on building trust. Auggie likes to whistle and play with toys. He is quite entertaining and will walk over close to a human to whistle and have a "chat" in cockatiel chitter. Auggie will go back into his cage on his own at the end of the day when his favorite seed is put in the cage so that is the only time it is made available. These two need a home with understanding patient humans. Their age is unknown, but they are certain to entertain anyone who adopts them with their unique personalities and antics.  The adoption fee for the pait is $100.00. Sweet 9 month old Boxer baby Axel is still looking for his family.  Axel is an amazing bouncing boy who loves everyone he meets. While we were told he was deaf initially, we do think he has some hearing, and may be only unilaterally deaf. He is  happy and playful the way a well adjusted boxer should be. He is dog friendly and crate trained, and working on his house manners. He is excelling with this training and needs a family that will continue it. His foster says while he is bouncy and energetic he can also be lovingly clingy and lay next to you for hours. Axel has been introduced to a cat in his foster home.  He does not chase the cat but likes watching her and is very curious. Our feathered friends flock of Frankie, Flynn, and Frances are excited to finally be ready to find their forever home. These three have had a rough journey coming from a hoarding case and recovering from malnutrition. Frances (yellow and green) is a younger budgie who loves to boss her elders around. They seem to tolerate it most of the time, and occasionally gently correct her when her rudeness has gone too far! Flynn (blue) loves hanging out with his ladies.  Frankie, unfortunately, has permanent liver damage from the malnutrition. She is living life to the fullest, flying in a big flight cage, eating her veggies daily, and chattering away with her flock. We aren't sure how long she will live with her enlarged liver condition, but she is a joy to watch with her flock however long that will be. None of the budgies in this group are hand-tamed, but they bring plenty of joy just watching them flying in a big flight cage, chittering and singing together, and hopping from perch to perch. They need to be adopted together and most likely would do fine being added to an existing flock of budgies once the proper quarantine time has passed and a slow introduction with cages side-by-side has occurred. My name is Deacon and I’m a 4 month old Labradoodle. I love other dogs and also my foster family's kitty! I love playing with my foster siblings and would love a family with another friendly dog. I enjoy squeaky toys, benebones, and keeping the tennis balls away from the other dogs. I am still getting used to going potty outside, but use pee pads fine. I have been a good boy and not chewing anything I’m not supposed too, so I’ve been sleeping in the kitchen with baby gates and am quiet all night. I know how to sit! That was an easy trick to learn. I’m still getting used to walking on the leash (I’m a little afraid of the scary cars going by), so I will need a patient owner who will help me be brave. I’m still a little scared of new things as I haven’t been exposed to a lot in my short time, but with encouragement and treats, I’m willing to learn. I love to be petted and especially like my ears massaged. My foster mom says I have great potential to be an awesome addition to any home!
