Meet Ellie May: Ellie May is a 16 week old (as of October 13, 2023) lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 20 pounds. Ellie May and her brother Jethro were seen being thrown out of the back of a truck! Luckily a wonderful human grabbed them and got them to safety! Ellie May is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ellie May is a super sweet baby that loves to be cuddled! Ellie May is great with kids and other dogs. As a puppy, Ellie May will need some patience while she works on her house training, but she has done a great job of consistently going outside. We would love for Ellie May to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely! Ellie May is up to date on her shots and will be spayed when age appropriate. Meet Eva: Eva is about a 6 month old (as of September 2023) lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 30 pounds. Eva was picked up as a stray and taken to a shelter. We were able to scoop her up and get her into our rescue. Eva is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Eva is a little shy, but warms up rather quickly. She has been good with other dogs, both big and small. She can be just a little nervous with new introductions, but with slow introductions she has done great.  Eva is very loving and likes to play. Eva is crate trained and working on her house training. We would love for Eva to have a home with a fence so she can play and run freely. Eva is up to date on her shots and spayed. Meet Ezra: Ezra is about an 11 week old (as of September 29, 2023) terrier mix (best guess) that weighs about 17 pounds. Ezra was found with his buddy, Quinn, abandoned by a creek in Mississippi. They were picked up and we were able to recently get them into our rescue. Ezra is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ezra and Quinn are both very friendly pups. They are not too hyper and the love all people! They both love attention from their humans and will make great dogs for a lucky family! Ezra gets along great with other dogs. Meet Fable: Fable is a 14 week old (as of August 29, 2023) plott hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 17 pounds. This rootin tootin cowboy litter of 3 (Farley, Farris and Fable) are sure to steal some hearts! These cuties were found abandoned in a rural area and luckily made it to our rescue. Fable is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fable is a sweet, playful handsome boy that is looking for his very own family! He loves people  and will lean against you to be close to you. Meet Fe Fe: Fe Fe is one year old (as of Nov 2023) and guessed to be a lab/shepherd mix that weighs about 35 pounds. Fe Fe and her litter mates (Patches, Goose, Maverick, Minnie, Pickles and Zoomie) were found with their mom as strays.  The finder is planning to keep their mama and are fostering the pups until we can find them great homes. This lovable litter is a group of friendly and active pups.   They love to romp and play around with each other outside.  They are currently in an outdoor kennel in the south, so they will need some patience while they work on their house training. We would love for Fe Fe to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play! Fe Fe is up to date on her shots and will need to be scheduled to be spayed. This girl is absolutely beautiful! She has a lovely brindle coat and her personality is just as lovely. She is very sweet, and loves to get pets and give kisses. She is all love. Fergie is still learning how to be a dog. She's not sure what to do with her stuffies, but she really enjoys her chew bones. She will run in the play yard, and she is catching on to the game fetch. Fergie does great in the car and is so interested in all the things going on as she drives by. Oh and her favorite band is Def Leppard while cruising in the car with her human. Please don't forget the drive thru too, because she knows that is where chicken nuggets can be found. Fergie gets along well with other dogs.  Fergie knows some commands, is very smart, and is working on her leash manners.  She listens so intently when people talk to her, and with a few treats, she could learn so many new fun things. Fergie is hoping for a home that has a fenced in yard, maybe a fur sibling, and a human that is home more often than not. She would do best with kids over 10 just because she is still learning not to jump on people. She would love nothing more than to hang out and give all her love to her new family. Hi! I’m  Fernando. I’m just a puppy who is a lap dog. My foster mom says, I’m a big baby and I’m not a lap dog, but who can you believe? I’ll give you lots of kisses while we talk about it. Fernando is a strong boy, who doesn’t know how big he is. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. He needs an experienced pack leader who will remind him of his manners.  He is very smart and additional training will only take a handful of treats to keep his attention. Fernando enjoys walks, playing with his toys, and getting pets. Running in his yard is a favorite past time of his. He will chase his ball all day! After a fun day of play, the only thing left to do is cuddle with his human. He loves belly rubs and back scratches. He will sit on your lap and give kisses while you enjoy a movie night. Fernando would like to have a family who will be firm but loving. It’s important to have breed experience. He would do best with kids over 12 years old. He would do ok with other dogs with a slow introduction that are the same size or bigger than him. A fenced in yard is a must. Fernando is UTD on vaccines, preventatives, and is neutered. Meet Fred Flintstone: Fred Flintstone is about a 4 year old (as of August 2023) pit mix (best guess) that weighs about 50 pounds. Fred Flintstone had a rough start to his life. A kind woman found him near her home in the south and took him in.  He had clearly not been treated well before and would tuck his head and try to hide with any attempt of touching. Fred Flintstone has been with his foster for about a year and has overcome so much and is so ready for his forever home! Fred Flinstone is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fred Flintstone is a chunky hunk of love that wants nothing more than a comfy place to be a couch potato - lounging is his favorite pastime! Fred Flintstone’s ideal home would be laid back and on the quieter side. He doesn’t prefer loud and rambunctious behavior, so we think he would do best in a home without young children. Fred Flintstone has gotten along well with all of the foster dogs in his home, but he tries to keep away from the puppies or higher energy/hyper dogs. Meet Geddy! Geddy is an adorable 2 year old Lab/Pointer mix (born around 4/19/2021). He is a sweet, lovable, energetic boy that loves to play with toys, especially squeaky toys. Geddy will need a home with a fenced in yard and a family that will spend lots of time with him and is dog knowledgeable with dogs that can be reactiive while eating. He will do best in a family that knows how to keep an excitable dog busy and well exercised. We would recommend children in home should be over 12 as he still has a lot of energy and loves to jump up and show his love. Geddy would benefit from working with a trainer and needs guidance from a "leader of the pack" as he approaches adolescent age. Geddy is up to date on all his shots, is neutered, house trained, and walks well on a leash. Geddy gets along with other dogs with proper introduction. Their mama (Penny) was rescued from a southern high kill shelter after she was scheduled for euthanasia. Once in the foster’s home it was discovered that she was pregnant and these 3 little ones were born into a home of love and attention. Hagrid is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Hagrid is your typical happy, curious, playful pup! Meet Harley: Harley is a 23 week old (as of October 13, 2023) terrier mix (best guess) that weighs about 40 pounds. Mama Cookie’s litter (Sheena, Benny, Harley and Theo) are survivors! Mama Cookie was a family pet until the family grew with a human baby and then she found herself as an outside dog. While living outside, Mama got pregnant and had a litter of 10 sweet babies that she carried off to a safe place to try to care for them.  When our rescue heard of the situation, we went to try to help and were only able to find 4 of her sweet pups. We are committed to this little family and want these survivors to find the best homes! Harley is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. This litter is full of your typical happy, playful, curious, and oh so loving pups! Harley is super sweet, loving, and he loves attention and affection!
