If you are looking for a plus-size feline so you can participate in the "oh lawd he coming" trend, Aboo is where it's at! There is so much of Aboo to love and he is ready to share. He is very people-oriented and was a favorite of the Spencer County kennel techs. His owner sadly passed away, so we don't have an exact age for this guy. He previously lived in a multi-cat household. Aboo is hopeful a new home is just around the corner for him! Ari is a 2.5 year old male. He was surrendered when his owner moved to a place that didn't allow pets. Ari has a medium-length tuxedo coat with a cute little black nose spot. This tuxedo-wearing cutie is four month old Azula. She is small for her age with long legs and a long face that give her a leonine appearance. Azula has been raised in a lively (re:noisy) foster home since she was just a few weeks old. She has grown up around dogs, cats, and young kids. The kids can carry her around and she has been known to cuddle and play with the dogs. Azula always has a purr going and loves to sleep on a warm lap. Beethoven is a male pit mix. Like his famous namesake, he is deaf. Our Beethoven has yet to compose any symphonies, but he's only nine months old so has plenty of time! He has THE cutest spotty nose and a white coat. He currently weighs 55 lbs, so will be large when fully grown. Beethoven was at a partner shelter who told us he is good with kids and other dogs. He has done some meet and greets and playgroups with other dogs at the rescue. He likes to play hard, so other dogs would need to be compatible. Adopt by applying at ITVrescue.org. Benji, the photogenic pup with the adorable head tilt, was found as a stray in Spencer County. Our vet estimates this mystery mutt is about a year old and he weighs 44 lbs. Benji would do best as an only pet in a home with older or no kids. He is ready to give his whole heart and be a loyal companion to the right person. A recent arrival from a partner shelter in Kentucky, Beretta is a nine month old female. The breed mix provided by the shelter was boxer/pit, so we're not sure where that bit of fluff in her coat comes from. Beretta currently weighs 62 lbs, so will definitely be considered large when fully grown. Beretta was previously housed with another dog and is open to meeting potential doggie friends. She will be spayed in mid-August and adoptable after, but can go to foster in the meantime!
