About Beatrice
Meat Beatrice (aka Bea)! She is approximtely 6 years old, but don't let those grey highlights fool you! This girl has plenty of fun energy! She loves to chase toys and play, but calms easily and loves to curl up on the couch next to her person. She is the best of both worlds!
Bea came from an over crowded Kentucky shelter at the end of January in very sad condition. Bea had clearly been neglected for most, if not all, of her life. One thing we know for certain is Bea is a survivor! She has overcome emaciation, demodex mange, kennel cough, urine burn with open sores and last but not least heartworm! Her skin is healed and fur has grown back in nicely.
Despite the cruelty she has endured in her short life Bea is the sweetest and LOVES people, even kiddos! She insists on being everywhere her people are, and if possible touching them at all times! She loves to rub her whole body all over you and give kisses. Bea is potty trained, crate trained and knows commands like shake, down and sit! Bea is very food motivated and smart which makes training easy!
Bea prefers to be the only pet in the home and we think she deserves that right after all she's been through. If you are looking for a fun companion with moderate energy, Bea is your girl.
