Hello My name is Angel and here is some information about me:
- Breed: Chihuahua/Pekingese mix
- Age: 7 months old
- Gender: Femaile
- Weight: 6 Kg
My sister (Rebecca) and I was found by one kind soul when we were only a month old. Some heartless people put us inside sack and left us by garbage bin to die. We were lucky that she found us, but we had absolutely no energy and almost death from dehydration and hunger. She took us to hospital and later vet found out we have a leg deformation, and this seems to be genetic. This deformity is not stopping us to be happy and run around, we were lucky to survive and here we are all happy full of energy and ready to start our new life in Canada! https://youtu.be/SBIdcgJthf8
I’m a very happy little girt that love to play, I’m a bit shy at first but in no time I find my way to stole any person’s heart, just need to feel safe around people. My sister is very similar to me as well, we are very connected and like to be adopted by one family, we can not be separated. Our energy level is high, and we love to play all the time. We like to be only pets at your home because we love your attention. We are good with other dogs and not too sure about cats. I am a bit afraid of large dogs and men, I am scared of sudden movments. .https://youtu.be/mZ-Pc6QmJgY
I am not house trained or leash trainded, please be prepare to help me learn.
I’m not too sure how I’ll react around cats/squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise
Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems!
Basic training should be taken seriously and should begin within a day or two of arrival. After your dog has settled in, check out courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
I have been not been spayed/neutered yet but I am *vaccinated & micro-chipped.
My adoption fee is $700.00 CAD + applicable taxes, which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.
Due to ongoing limits on Vancouver (YVR) flights, additional fees will apply if I have to fly through another city. Unaccompanied Cargo costs within Canada range from $275-$500 per dog (size depending). LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. NOTE: once I find a family, I will be on the first available flight out of the Middle East seeing as I need to leave here ASAP! If a direct flight to Vancouver is not immediately available, the cost to fly me via unaccompanied cargo from Montreal/Toronto to Vancouver will not be optional. If you would like to increase the chance of me coming sooner, my rescuer may be able to secure a cargo flight from the Middle East. This cost will likely be between $1200-3800 USD, dependent on size.

LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. More information can be found on our website.[MID EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.
