I'm a good girl with a funky name. Banaboo. The person who found me a has kept me safe for months waiting to get me into Polk County Humane Society gave me that special name and I love it! I am a high energy gal, so I need a home where I can run and burn off this energy! I can be very dog reactive, but I have been able to get along with some other dogs, so I'd have to meet a potential new sibling before going home. I can jump (alarmingly) high! We were taken to the Bolivar Pound, and the people from the shelter found us a great dig to hang out at until we meet our forever families (the shelter is antsville right now)! Jeremiah, Prince Naveen, Princess Tiana, Rosie the Ribiter, Bud-Weis-and-Er. Kermit and Calaveras. We’d like to jump right into your life as soon as we turn 8 weeks old on Saturday, May 21. We can go home then, but will need to be brought back to PCHS to finish our vaccinations and have our neuter/spay surgeries over the next few weeks. Those services will need to be scheduled through PCHS and are included in our adoption fee of $250, along with our other basic vaccinations, microchipping, deworming and initial flea/tick/heartworm prevention. To get a jump on adopting one of us, you can complete the adoption application on this page: polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt and we can be pre-adopted before the 8 weeks (so catch one of us while you can!) show less
