About Clyde

Adoption Fee: $395 for Adult Dogs and Puppies

Dog Name: Clyde
Suspected Breed(s): Terrier/ Chinese Crested mix
Gender: Male
Age: 5.5 years old
Weight: 24 pounds
Personality: Energetic, Quick Learner, Playful, Funny, Protective, Smart, Trainable, Snuggler, Defensive
Observations with Dogs: Clyde is generally good with meeting other dogs off leash and is working on introductions on leash. He does well with other dogs in a home environment.
Observations with Cats: Clyde prefers to be in a home without cats.
Observations with Kids: Clyde prefers to be in a home without children.House Training Progress: No accidents, but will have anxiety accidents when left alone.
Crate Training Progress: Unknown
Location: DC area foster
Rescued From: Smyth County, VA
Additional Information: Clyde is 24 pounds of love and absolute devotion. He would do best in a single family home where his adopter loves going on long walks. Exercise is key for this little terrier guy. A home with a fenced yard is ideal but not required. Clyde is currently in training for separation anxiety and is working on not barking while alone or crated. Clyde also needs a home where his new family is dedicated to working on his leash reactivty through exercise and training. While he is generally doesn't have accidents, he may have anxiety accidents when left alone. Despite his challenges, he's a very quick learner and has great potential to be the best boy when housed in the right environment! He is ridiculously sweet, devoted, and loving. Clyde loves rubbing his head on your chest and snuggling up in any and all nooks. He is also quite adventurous and hardy – he enjoys being outside, laying in the sun, and playing with his toys. He loves a good squeaker and is also a huge fan of chasing after his ball. Clyde looks forward to greeting you with tail wags, hind-leg circus dog dancing, and an abdunce of cuddles when you walk in the door. He can't wait to meet his forever family! Apply today to meet Clyde!

Clyde's rescue was sponsored by Gaby Richeimer in honor of her move to Clyde & Co.
