💙BINGO💙 Bingo is a 3 year old, 74lb Bull Terrier/Staffordshire mix. He loves people, other dogs and is probably okay with cats.  He is a big, strong beauty and always has a smile on his face.  Bingo is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and has gone through Heart Worm Treatment.   He was rescued with his BEST FRIEND, Zane, a 7 year old German Shepherd.  Bingo and Zane are a bonded pair and we would like to see them adopted together.  Zane takes his role as Bingo's best friend as his job and therefore Bingo and Zsne need to be the only two dogs in the home.        show less

💙BLAZE💙 This sweet boy is Blaze.  Blaze is a 16 month old German Shep/Husky mix, he is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, chipped and ready to light up your world.  He has one blue eye and one brown eye and weighs a solid 64lbs Blaze is good with people, older kids, other dogs, but not great with cats.   He is crate trained, housebroken, energetic and friendly.  He would love nothing more than to sneak up on the couch and sit in your lap.  Blaze is still very much a puppy and comes with puppy energy and will need a committed, active adopter.   He has many Husky traits (vocal) and antics, but doesn't try to escape. He is looking for someone who enjoys walks, hiking, visits to the dog park or any place else he can run and play.   Blaze needs consistency in a routine, continued training and MUST be exercised. He is friendly but can be cautious when meeting new people.  He  plays hard and rough with the 2 German Shepherds at his foster home and loves his evening walks.   This velcro boy will do best with a confident owner to allow him a few days to decompress in a new environment and will need to take his time to warm up to his new humans.   Once he knows the routine, he is an absolute delight.  He would be a great agility dog, running buddy, walking partner or as a handsome sidekick (this guy loves car rides).   Blaze will sit for treats and meals, and takes treats very gently.  He loves to howl with sirens and enjoys chasing squirrels in the yard.   Blaze continues to learn expectations, has received formal training and yearns to be part of his forever family.  Let Blaze spark a fire in your heart and apply to adopt today!  show less

💙CHEWY FRANZ💙 Chewy Franz is a handsome 8 month old male German Shepherd, fully vaccinated, Heartworm negative,  microchipped and neutered.  He came into the rescue with his brother Han Solo. Franz is the perfect pup for anyone wanting a sweet and loving puppy but not wanting to start at square-one with all the training that is required!  Chewy Franz  is already potty- trained, leash-trained, crate- trained and knows commands!  Franz  is so smart, well behaved in the house, sleeps through the night, and has never had an accident in the house.  He loves attention and is playful and curious but is also independent and content to entertain himself or rest while you work at home.  He loves to run and play outside in his foster mom’s yard but is ready to return inside as soon as she is.  He knows commands including “sit,” “crate,” “no,” “outside,” “inside,” and “down.”    Chewy Franz gets along well with other dogs and loves to run and play, explore, and engage in all sorts of dog games.  He’s a growing boy who is a hearty eater and treat lover.  He sits while you prepare his food bowl and independently goes into his crate when it’s time to eat.  He’s got giant paws and promises to be a big boy when he’s full grown!  The foster for Franz is also fostering his brother Hans Solo   These brothers are very bonded and we would like to see them adopted together, if possible.       show less

💗DAISY💗 Delicate Daisy is a 2 year old German Shepherd who is as pretty as a picture.  Daisy is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and on flea and hw prevention. This delightful little flower has been through a lot and would do best with a savvy adopter that understands German Shepherds and the odd quirks from a somewhat unsocialized girl.  Daisy is good with other dogs but needs her dog introductions to be slow and gradual.  Her adopter needs to be patient and slow to set her up for success and with children over the age of 10.  Daisy loves her crate and her toy bone. She will put herself in her crate to take a nap or to just get away and chew on her bone.  She is very affectionate, energetic and wants to be with her people.  Daisy is currently at a board and train and is at the TOP of her class! 💙FRED 💙 Fred, better known as Jax by his foster family,  is a 9 month old puppy who came into our rescue with his siblings (Scooby, Shaggy and Daphne). He is a happy go lucky boy that loves to be with his person. Jax is neutered, up to date on vaccines, weighs almost 50lbs, is heartworm negative and microchipped.    Fred/Jax is in an outstanding foster home with kids and other dogs. He loves chew toys, stuffed animals, especially the ones with a squeaker inside, is potty trained, crate trained and sleeps all night without incident. He loves people of all ages and enjoys playing with other dogs.  His foster home does not have a cat so we are unsure how Jax feels about cats.  His foster has been working on leash walking and simple commands (Sit, Stay) and this cutie is excelling.   This handsome Shepherd mix has both ears up, is treat motivated and easy to train.  Jax loves an adventure and has enjoyed many trips to the lake with his foster family and their dogs.  This boy is all about the fun and has excellent recall. 💙GHOST💙 Ghost is a handsome 2 yr old, strong boy.  He weighs 75 pounds and can be a little shy when first meeting people.  Ghost is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and housebroken.  This stunning boy is good with dogs his size, but does have some prey drive so NO cats or small dogs.  Ghost is a big fella and is not aware of his size, we recommend adult adopters. Ghost is looking for an experienced large dog foster or adopter and needs a big yard to run off his energy.  Ghost would do best in a home with another friendly dog, his size, to romp and play with.  Ghost has been through formal training classes and the adopter will need to continue these practices to keep him consistent.     Notes from his foster:  Ghost needs a lot of physical activity and stimulation. Ghost needs to be in a household where he can go out and spend extended time outside exploring, playing, and running around, multiple times a day.  Even with chewing and toys in the house, it’s still not enough stimulation for him, he needs a lot of monitoring because he will chew on things he shouldn’t and will find things because he is curious and explores everything!  Ghost Is skittish and reacts to very random things;  he barks at the ceiling fan every time we turn it off or on.  He barks aggressively (unprovoked) at our teenage kids a lot, like he doesn’t remember who they are when they come home or come downstairs in the morning.  It takes him a while to calm down and warm up to them again.   There are so many great things about him.  He loves to play and it is super fun to play with him.  He’s loves to play and run with our German Shep. If he’s going to be in a home with another dog, it definitely needs to be a dog that can match his energy or be very patient with him when he wants to play and they don’t.  He’s pretty much housebroken, but needs to go out often or he will have accidents.  He’s done great sleeping in the crate at night, but it’s a challenge to get him in there, even with treats.  He’s not a treat-driven dog.   He definitely still needs to work on manners.  He’s gotten better with sit, but he does grab food or treats.  Whomever is interested in adopting him needs to know he will need work and be willing to do that work with him and must be patient.   If you are interested in this big spritied boy, please fill out an application below for GHOST Https://www.sauverdeschiens.org/adopt     show less
