Meet Aspen. She is one of six kittens born in a Logan's Heroes foster home on March 26, 2023. These kittens are all friendly and social. Meet Atlas. He is one of six kittens born in a Logan's Heroes foster home on March 26, 2023. He is the smallest of the bunch and he was born with a slight heart murmur which is getting better as he grows. Atlas is a very snuggly little boy. The foster has done a great job socializing all the kittens. Meet Avaline. She came to us from a shelter partner very pregnant. She had her kittens and is now looking for her own home. We think that she is less the. 1 year old. Avaline is super sweet and friendly. She loves people and to be with her kittens. Her foster mom says that she is wonderful and doesn't have the typical calico attitude. The only thing she doesn't seem to be a fan of is dogs. Avaline is litterbox trained and tested negative for Feluk/fiv. Meet Bianca.  She came to us from a shelter partner in Alabama with two other siblings.  Her date of birth is 1/27/2023. She will be a bigger girl when full grown. She is already over 20 lbs when she came to us at 11 weeks old. Her mom was a hound mix that only weighed 40 lbs but Bianca is well on her way to growing larger then that. She is a very friendly and social puppy. We do think she has lab in her or some other larger breed. She is a calm sweet girl who has a lot of potential to be a great family dog. She does well with her siblings. Bianca will do best in a home that has the time to train a puppy but has a good temperament to be around kids if you have time to train a puppy and children. Bianca will be ready for her forever home after May 9, 2023 once she has been spayed. If you are local to us and can get her to her spay appointment, we will consider foster to adopt.  Bianca has several sets of vaccines and will also have her Rabies vaccine by the time she is ready for adoption. Meet Buddy. He came to us from an Alabama shelter partner.  Buddy was surrendered along with his brother because the owner said his kids didn't want to take care of them.  We were told they were somewhere between 8-10 months old.  Buddy is the smaller of the two. He is about 45 lbs. Buddy is very people friendly and he is learning leash manners in his foster home.  He is crate trained and will need to be in a crate when you cannot watch him. Buddy is still all puppy when it comes to chewing on things. He does jump up when he gets excited so children over 10 will be best. He will need a home that has time to watch him and train him since he still has puppy behaviors. He is scheduled to be neutered on June 7, 2023 and will be ready for a forever home.  Knowledge of the Basset breed is a plus as there are health issues that can be associated with this breed as they get older. Meet Cassidy.  She came to us with her sister,  Shirley after they were to old to have puppies. She is 8 years old and weighs 11 lbs. She is a purebred Miniature Poodle. Cassidy is the more outgoing of the two. She is always wanting to be held and cuddled. Since she spent most of her life in a kennel, she is not housebroken. We are working on pee pad training for her. We do believe she will do much better with housebreaking in a home with a fenced in yard.  She has been with her sister,  Shirley her whole life and they look out for each other. We certainly like to see them adopted together but we will separate them if we have to. Cassidy is now spayed, had a dental cleaning, is up to date with vaccines,  microchipped and tested negative for heartworm. She did have an ear infection when she arrived but she also had a lot of hair in her ears. Poodles do need to groomed about every 6 weeks to stay healthy. Her adoption fee is $250. Meet Chili. She came to us from a shelter partner in Alabama as part of an unwanted litter of puppies. These puppies are very friendly and social. They were picked up by animal control after being found running around their neighborhood several time. There is definitely Heeler in Chili and probably several other breeds too. She is the little more timid of the three and enjoys being cuddled. Chili is definitely a higher energy pup and will need a home with knowledge of the breed and one that wants to be active with their dog. She can be nippy like a heeler so no small children for her. She is super smart and eager to learn. Chili should do well with someone that has time to train a puppy. She is the largest of the three and looks like she has more of a lab coat with the heeler colors. We estimate her date of birth to be around the middle of January 2023. Chili is scheduled to be spayed on May 9, 2023 and will be ready for adoption. Meet Chiquita. She is a heeler mix puppy that came to us from an Alabama shelter partner with two siblings. They were part of an unwanted litter that was surrendered by the owner after they were found wandering around town. Chiquita is very friendly and social. We estimate her date of birth to be around the middle of January 2023. She appears to be a heeler mix and has a lot of heeler behaviors already. She will do best in a home that has knowledge of the breed and wants to be active with their dog. She is very cuddly and eager to learn. Chiquita is the most dominant of the litter of pups with her siblings. She does like to boss them around. She can be a nippy puppy so no small children for her unless you have a lot of time to train her not to herd your children. Chiquita is scheduled to be spayed on May 9, 2023 and will be ready for adoption. Meet Dobby. He was one of many bunnies that were found abandoned near us. He looks like a New Zealand cross and we think he was born around February or March 2022.  He is a young and friendly rabbit. Dobby is in a foster home with dogs and a cat and does well with them. His foster mom says that he is a very clean rabbit and does his business in one spot. Meet Duckie. Duckie was surrendered to an Alabama shelter partner with several other small dogs after his owner passed away. He is a very friendly little guy and we are thinking he is a Chiweenie. He is about 5 years old and weighs about 12 lbs. Duckie gets along well with other small dogs and seems to be do ok with cats in his foster home too. He is very friendly and loves attention. Meet Duke. This little guy came to us from a shelter partner in Alabama along with his sister, Daisy. They do look like they have some Border collie probably along with several other breeds. We estimate his date of birth to be around the middle of February 2023. Duke is a very friendly and energetic puppy. He will need a family that likes to play, go for long walks and also has plenty of cuddle time. Based on his current size we expect him to stay more on the small to medium size when full grown. While he maybe the perfect size for an apartment,  Duke will need lots of exercise and does bark when he gets lonely so he may not be the best fit for an apartment setting. Meet Elsa. She was found as a local stray which no one has claimed. She looks to be about 1 year old. Elsa is very friendly and likes to go for car rides. She gets along well with other dogs as long as they let her be the boss which is a female husky trait. Elsa will need a securely fenced in yard that is at least 5 feet high. She is young and energetic with a prey drive to small critters like squirrels and cats. So no cats for her. She has done well with introduction to several small dogs. Elsa needs a home that has knowledge of the husky breed and time to excercise her. She does also like to relax in her favorite pet bed. She does seem to be housebroken and is crate trained. We do recommend crating when you are not home because she will chew when she gets board. Elsa is a wonderful young husky looking for a husky savvy home. Meet Ernie. Ernie came to us from a farm as a bull calf. Someone paid to save his life so he would not go to auction and we were asked to take him in. Ernie is now castrated, dehorned and ready for his forever pet home. He is a Holstein steer and could grow to over 2,000 pounds. His date of birth was November 29, 2021. Ernie would love a home with lots of pasture. He has been bucket raised and is super friendly. We will only consider Ernie to be adopted out as a pet. You do need to have safe fencing and housing for a steer. Another cow or pet steer would be a plus for Ernie.
