Callie and Splotchy are a bonded husband and wife who have been through thick and thin together. Together they have raised at least 7 kittens!  Both of them enjoy attention, pets, playtime, and cozy places to nap.  They like other cats, and Callie likes calm dogs.  Splotchy is weary of energetic dogs but tolerates his foster family's old dog.  Splotchy LOVES to be held and appreciates belly rubs.  Callie is very affectionate and can be held, but she does not tolerate being manhandled.  When you come home after a long day this sweet couple will greet you by rubbing up against your legs and asking for pets.  Callie is a very special kitty, she has been a fantastic mama cat to her kittens, but it has taken a toll on her body.  Although she looks like anyother healthy cat, Callie has a heart murmur that may reduce her life expectancy; at this time she doesn't need any medications. Despite this, Callie is sweet, lively, and LOVES a good playtime! Callie and Splotchy are a very special couple who need a very special home.  If you think Callie and Splotchy would make a great addition to your family please fill out an application.   Animal is Fostered in: Racine For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

We are prefecting my kennel trainning as I would much rather be in bed with my people but I am getting better everyday! I am sweet as pie and would make a great addition to any family. Meet 5 year old, Honey! This beautiful gal is as sweet as her namesake, and a gentle giant! Honey only weighs 60lbs right now, but should be around 80-90 once she fills in! We believe Honey is a lab/Pyrenees mix and can't wait to see her beautiful fluffy coat shine! Honey came from a Kentucky shelter and while we don't know much about her past, we do know that she will need patience and love to help her sparkle with her forever family! So far, we know she rides wonderfully in a car (loose or in a crate), walks very well- not a puller!, Enjoys chewing on bones, and eating lots of treats and food! Honey is cat-safe and more or less ignores her feline foster siblings. As a guarding breed, Honey would likely prefer a home without other dogs but she is dog social and may enjoy playdates with some canine pals! She is fostered with a medium and large dog, but eats food and high value bones/toys separately. Did we mention, she takes treats soooo politely?!   Honey is just starting to come out of her shell, and can be shy at first, so we think she will best enjoy a home without young children. We'd recommend children over 12 that will respect her boundaries, although we have not seen an ounce of concerning behavior!  Honey loves her crate and sleeps through the night inside. She does well crated when left alone too! She walks remarkably well on leash, and takes her time to sniff whatever she can! If you're looking for a sweet, mild mannered dog to add to your family, you might just fall for Honey!   Honey is fostered in Helenville, WI (between Milwaukee and Madison)   For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Juneau is estimated to be about 2 years old, but she's a pint sized little girl who still looks like a kitten. She started out a little bit shy in her foster home, but has come out of her shell and has shown that she is a very sweet cat. She has been introduced to small and large dogs, and other cats and has shown that she would be fine in a home with other animals.  She's not the type of cat to jump right up in your lap but she's definitely shown that she wants to be around her humans.  Animal is Fostered in Raymond, WI Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Micah is a spunky male kitty with a huge expressive tail! He wags his tail around when he's happy or will puff up at the sight of something new and exciting. He loves to run as fast he can through big open rooms or fenced-in backyards. The perfect forever home for Micah would have a playful cat companion or a dog that will zoom around the house with him, but also give him his own space. Micah is fabulous at using his litter box, but tends to make a mess when covering up - making use of high-sided boxes and an old rug would be in your best interest. Micah is still young and therefore prefers playing to snuggling, but when you finally tire him out he will cuddle up by your chest and purr like an engine. Giving Micah time to adjust to his new environment, a scratching pole, lots of toys and an area to do some zoomies would be a match made in heaven.  Animal is Fostered in: Racine, WI For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Sammy is a beautiful 12 year old husky/shepherd mix that weighs around 50 pounds. Through no fault of her own, the last 6 months of her life was beyond tragic. Her previous owners went through a divorce, which led to the husband living out of his car. It was decided to send Sammy to the nephews house to take care of her until other arrangements could be made. During those 6 months, she lost almost 30lbs!!!! She was also chained up outside for at least 8 hrs a day while he was at work. Luckily a family friend heard of the situation and was able to pick her up before the nephew took her to a kill shelter.  Sammy has only been in foster for a few days but she is starting to show how spunky she can be - so don’t let her age fool you!! She loves chew toys and playing tug of war with them. Sometimes she can get a little mouthy while playing but nothing intentional. She also enjoys a  good nap, and if you’re lucky she’ll snuggle up next to you. She’s been doing great with going potty outside. With her previous owners, she tapped the patio door with her nose when she needed to go out.  Sammy does have some medical issues that she’s lived with her whole life. She was born blind in her right eye and also having chronic ear infections. It was said she is allergic to some types of grasses, too. Both the ear infections and allergies can all me managed with medication. She currently has a double ear and skin infection, which is being treated with antibiotics and ear drops.  She loves all people she comes in contact with - babies, kids and adults. She would do best in a home being the only dog but possibly could be with cats if introductions are slow.  This sweet girl deserves a second chance to be loved and to live out the rest of her days as happy as she can be.  Animal is Fostered in: Twin Lakes, WI Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less
