About Angel

Adoption Fee: $100.00

Angel has had a rough start in life and at only 3 years old, she is really hoping there is someone out there with the patience, and love she needs.  Angel started off living with an elderly woman whose health began to deteriorate.  The woman became bedridden and was placed on hospice at home but, her caregiver did not like cats and refused to care for Angel or show her any affection.  Angel soon began to feel unloved and unimportant.  Thankfully, a kind neighbor would stop by and feed Angel and clean up after her but, Angel still remained love-starved and unbrushed - which she really, really likes!  She is a long-haired kitty with an incredibly soft coat!   We are uncertain of her exact breed but, with her cute little nose and rabbit-soft fur, we're pretty sure she has some Persian or angora in her.  She's certainly not your typical long-haired Tabby cat!
Angel was brought up-to-date with her vaccines in March and she was given a bath and shaved during the same vet visit.  The pictures of her in the carrier show the length of her fur before she was shaved.  Angel has taken comfort in food and could use some help shedding a few pounds.  She loves to chase the laser light so, that could definitely help!
Because of Angel's rough childhood, we think it would be best that she goes to a very calm home where someone will be home often, without children.  She will most likely need up to a couple of months to adjust to her new home and finally feel cherished.  Angel is eager to form a bond with her forever guardian and will undoubtedly appreciate her second chance at happiness and loving home to call her own.  Oh, and some catnip too!  Angel has recently discovered she loves catnip!
Angel has no bad habits, uses her litter box like a champ, and just needs some love and patience so she can blossom into the lovely sweetheart she really is!

Should you ever decide Angel isn't the right fit for your household we would gladly welcome her back!
Thank you for considering adopting a rescued furkid!!
