Alfie is a 3 year old male.  He's your typical orange tabby - wants to be involved in all the fun, wants to be the center of your universe, and wants to give you non-stop snuggles. Although he loves attention, he seems to do just fine with other animals. He's just a happy guy and would likely fit right into any home! Alfie is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations. He tested negative for FeLV, but has tested positive for FIV. Alfie's FIV+ status does not mean his lifespan will be impacted - lots of FIV+ cats live long healthy lives. FIV is not transmittable to humans or dogs and is only transmittable to other cats through deep penetrating bites. While Alfie doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, to be extra safe, Alfie should probably be an only cat or with other FIV+ cat friends. For more information about FIV, please check out this informative article: https://vbspca.com/what-you-should-know-when-adopting-an-fiv-positive-cat/.
