Hi, my name is Barry and I am 2 years old and about 65 lbs. I am a very energetic Labrador mix that would love a yard to run in or go on daily runs with you. I have a strong personality and am looking for my perfect match. Will you be my strong leader?  I can be very stubborn at times and try to be the boss of everyone which is proving to be too much for my human mom. I have an older fur brother that doesn't play like I do and it gets me in trouble for being too rough. She says I'm a bully too but it's just because I want all my mommy and daddy's attention for myself. I also have a human brother (8) and sister (2) who I love but their noises are too much for me and when I try to keep them in line my mom yells at me for putting my mouth on them. I've been around cats too...they are funny things that don't like to be played with, but I sure like to keep trying.  I want to add the following into Barry's info: "I use my mouth for everything, which can be off putting. I don't mean it in a bad way it's just how I ask for play and show love, but I also use it to say NO when I'm not comfortable with something. " I think I like active grown ups the most. Hi my name is Boo aka Booty. I am 11 years old and I am looking for my forever home. I weigh 36lbs but should be around 20lbs, I gained some quarantine weight (but lets be honest...who didn’t). As you can see I am living my best life in my foster home. I love sitting outside and sun bathing. I like to follow my foster mom wherever she goes, even up and down stairs. But to be honest I think she is just making my climb the stairs to get some exercise (I am getting quicker so that is good). I am also a great co-worker, I sit right by my foster mom while she works during the day.  I don’t pay any attention to the cats in my foster home, and 2 of the 3 dogs are young wild boys. They get on my nerves sometimes so I will sometimes growl or bark at them to leave me alone (they don’t like to listen). I would do great with another laid back dog but would also be ok on my own as long as I have that special someone with me ❤️. I wouldn’t mind being spoiled and being the apple of my owners eye. Cattie is in foster, from her foser mom:  Cattie is a 3 year old, spayed Female who weighs about 38LB, and has been in my care for quite some time, roughy about 2 years. She was a semi ferral dog taken from her owners house with several other dogs.  When I first got her, you couldn't put your hands on her. After some time, i was able to pet her for a short period of time. She was so scared of human touch, that when i did pet her she would poop and pee. She has finally got past that and is at a point where she finally will come up to you. She will walk on a harness a short distance.    Demi is an approximately 3 year old hound dog that was found as a stray in Kentucky and was very pregnant at that time. Demi has finished weaning her five puppies and is looking for her forever home. She weighs about 40 pounds.   She has lots of energy and loves to go for walks and run. Demi is shy at first but warms up to people once she gets to know them. Demi is timid and submissive and does not like loud noises. She gets along well with other dogs and prefers to have them around. She has also spent time with cats, lizards and birds. Demi does not do well with horses (they frighten her) and she refuses to go in to barns. She needs a family that is willing to be patient, spend time with her and has area where she can run.    Demi requires a few lengthy walks a day and benefits greatly from having a yard to sprint in. This is Kain, he's 4yrs and weighs 42lbs. They think he is a heeler mix. He was surrendered to the shelter, his owners gave him away because he doesn’t like wild kids and they have young grandkids that come over. He would do best in a relaxing home with older kids who know their boundaries. Kimber is a two year old neutered male in foster, from his foser mom:   Kimber has been in my care for about 9 months. He was found on a country back road close to where there have been known dog fights. It took me about a week to gain his trust and finally catch him. During that week i would stop by where he was hanging out and make sure he had food and water.    Being in my care, Kimber has become family to us.  But I know he will make a family very happy. He LOVES to play in pools. He will have a good ole time turning circles trying to get wet all over. He enjoys running and playing with mu 12 year old. He does get along with small dogs and large dogs. He also LOVES lot's of attention. sometimes when he's excited  and licking you, he will kinda nip you with his teeth.  I wouldn't recommend him being with a family that has small kids, toddlers, or even babies. He is very hyper. He will jump on you trying to give you kisses. ( We've been working on that.)  I hope the family that gets him loves him as much as we do.  Lori   show less

Lylac is a Terrier mix currently in Kentucky and is 2yrs, and weighs 41lbs. She is much skinnier than she looks. Lylac had to fight for food. She has a swollen jaw but it’s gone down since she started antibiotics. Lylac is very friendly and easy going. The shelter thinks Tulip is her daughter. She CANNOT go to a home with cats or chickens. A bath a couple days antibiotics has made world of difference as you can see in the before and after pics. Since she had to fight for her food she can not be fed with another dog, this will hopefully change once she realizes she gets fed regularly but it will take time. Mann- 2 year old, 54 LB Mann is very sweet, playful, kennel trained. Usually quiet in the kennel, very happy, very food motivated. Mann was handled by 2 Fosters he did not know on 3-24. He readily accepted strangers asking him to walk and sit - the sit was a bit slow but he did it.  He mostly ignored the other dogs who were close-by, wagging his tail at the people who were close. show less
