Kiera is the sweetest girl! She LOVES people and dogs! Poor baby was saved from SBC with a puppy who we still aren't sure if the puppy was hers but she sure did love the pup! Of course the puppy was adopted and Keira has been with us for a couple of years. She has some problems with her hips and her ACL. She had surgery on the worst ACL (right back leg) but will probably need another surgery for the other one eventually The vet said she has a strong case of hip dysplasia. Pretty much bone on bone. The vet warned us once they tear one ACL there is a high chance the other ACL will tear. Which looks like is the case because she limps off and on the left back leg. We had an X Ray done and the assistant vet thought she had a slight tear but wanted the head vet to take a look at the X Rays. Which I haven’t had done yet. Instead I’ve taken her to a chiropractor a couple times and give her supplements.     show less

Rocket is a (almost) 2 year old neutered Ger-moodle (Shep-a-doodle). He was born July 2019. His mom is a standard poodle and his dad is a German Shepard. Rocket is crate trained and will "ring" the blinds to go outside. He is very affectionate and loves to be the center of attention. He's a cuddler. He loves family adventures - especially if car / boat rides are involved. Rocket has been raised around older kids (10 years old +), and has not had many interactions with younger kids. Rocket needs a home where he is the only dog / pet. He usually gets along well with his pet siblings, but does have history of lashing out at them (which is sadly why we can no longer keep him). He has not shown any aggression towards humans.  Rocket has been around a cat, but would do best without one (he likes to chase them).  show less
