Snoopy is a 7-year-old, 21-pound male beagle mix from Alabama. He is an absolute sweetheart and will hop onto every strangers lap for pets and affection. He's indifferent towards other dogs while on walks and will always walk on the right side of you (he also checks in every now and then to make sure you're still behind him). Don't let his size fool you, Snoopy is truly a bottomless bucket and will never say no to more treats or food. He is gentle, and will simply sit at a distance, starring longingly until you give him a sample, or until you accidentally drop crumbs.
Snoopy would do best in an adult-only household, as he is skittish if suddenly awakened during his doggy naps and will vocalize if he's uncomfortable or nervous. He is otherwise incredibly trusting and cuddly. If this doesn't pull your heartstrings, Snoopy's story pre-freedom ride certainly will - he was being given away on Facebook as his original owner was sent to jail and ended up abandoning him to a person who was getting their children taken away by DHR and was expecting to go to jail so they needed to get rid of Snoopy.
Despite all this, Snoopy is truly the sweetest, most loving dog you'll ever meet. If you want a little shadow to be by your side (especially when you're in the kitchen) this guy is your match!
Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, lepto, and bordatella. Neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Dental and bloodwork done on 3/24. Flea, tick, and heartworm preventative due 4/16.
