Meet Comet!!! This handsome man is looking for his forever home. Comet is as sweet as they come, he loves everyone and everything. He truly loves human attention and wants to be right beside you all the time. Comet was brought in to the shelter as a stray and the people who found him really didn’t want to give him up because he was just that sweet, however their dog wouldn’t accept a new dog at home. So Comet waited and waited on his people to come for him but sadly, no one ever showed up. We had to save Comet, he was so lonely and sad at the shelter.  Comet knows a few tricks already, he knows sit and he goes in his crate when asked, and is a good boy while in it.  He is estimated around 4 years old, heartworm negative, up to date on appropriate vaccines and neutered. Comet has tested well with other dogs as well. Edited to “Meet Comet!!! This handsome man is looking for his forever home. Comet is as sweet as they come, he loves everyone and everything. Introducing Skippy!!! AKA: Squeaky, Pippy, Pip Squeak, Skipper, whatever you prefer that sounds similar to Skippy, she likes it.🤣  Skippy is around 6 months old, full of energy, a little sass, and a lot of love. We believe she may be some sort of chihuahua/dachshund mix. She was picked up stray where it took the finder well over 30 minutes to finally lure her skin and bones little body over to her. She was so tiny and she was covered in fleas and had ticks all in both of her ears. She was in rough shape!  Fast forward a few months and she’s all fixed up, just as happy and healthy as she can be. Skippy is a very happy little girl, although she does have some MAJOR trust issues with humans. Skippy requires a home with other dog friendly dogs, the bigger the better. She is cat friendly as well. Skippy trusts the other dogs in the home and follows what they do, so if the resident dogs go outside, Skippy goes outside with them, if they come inside, she comes inside with them. If they come to take a treat, she comes to take a treat. She warms up to female humans more than males, but she is starting to take treats from her current foster dad. Although she’s come out of her shell some, she’s still a very timid girl, but she follows along to what the other dogs do and realizes if it’s okay for them, it’s okay for her.   Skippy will require a very secure fenced in yard, she requires a home with other dog friendly dogs, preferably no younger kids because we think they may terrorize her and scare her even more.  Our little girl weighs around 8.5 pounds, she’s around 6 months old, and she is not quite fully house/crate trained but she’s getting better by the day. show less
