Callie is a 2 year old Boston Terrier that weighs about 23lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention. Callie is a very sweet and very energetic little girl.  She does well with other dogs and loves the chance to play tug and never passes up the opportunitiy to destroy a stuffie or 10 if given the chance.  She can occasionally be a little stand-offish with new people at first, but she always warms up really quick.  She also loves children - a lot! Callie will do well with other dogs as long as they're young, playful and energetic enough to not be offendded by her energy and exciement level.  Of course, she would also be just fine as an only pet as well.  Callie must, however, be in a home with a fenced yard so she can have a safe and secure place to run off her puppylike energy. She came into rescue severely emaciated and has overcome a lot.  Callie has a very sensitive stomach and needs to fed specific amounts of food and very few treats. Her current foster home uses a slow feeder for her and that works well. Callie will need a home where she doesn't have free access to food.  Her new forever family wiill need to have the understanding to make sure she is only fed the correct portions of food twice daily.  As long as that regimen is followed, Callie shouldn't have any issues going forward. If you would like to give Callie her forever home, please submit an application at southerncrossbtr.com. The adoption fee is $375. She is being fostered in the Louisville, KY area. Approved adopters must be willing to travel to where the dog is being fostered in order to adopt them. If you'd like to know more about Callie, feel free to contact her foster parents directly at jasonscbtr@outlook.com.  For a complete listing of all of our available Bostons, or to learn more about SCBTR, please visit our website at www.southerncrossbtr.com. Gibbler is a 2 year old Boston Terrier that weighs about 25lbs. He is altered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention. My Name is Gibbler, AKA "Gibbs". I love to play with both dogs and people alike! I am also the biggest cuddler and love to give kisses to anyone that will accept them! My foster mom says I am the sweetest!  I was born with a condition called penile bifida but that has been surgically corrected and I am doing well! I would do best in a home with passive dogs, or even as an only pet! I don’t do well with cats and will need a home without them. I don’t know a lot of commands, but I am working on it. I do well with being in a crate and am housebroken. If you would like to give Gibbler his forever home, please submit an application at southerncrossbtr.com. The adoption fee is $375. He is being fostered in Crown Point, IN. Approved adopters must be willing to travel to where the dog is being fostered in order to adopt them. Thad is a 2 year old Boston Terrier/Boxer(or Border Collie) mix that weighs about 39lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention. This cute-as-a-button pup is Thad! He’s a happy guy with lots of energy to burn, and he would love to share his favorite toys with you! He can also show you how nicely he can sit, shake, and down for treats. He is very smart and is eager to learn. Thad is a doll. He is bouncy and always ready to play. He loves to run, play fetch, and explore, so a fenced in yard would be great for him. He needs an active, experienced family that can keep up with his energy and attention. He gets really excited when seeing his people after they've been away, so his first instinct is to jump, but his foster is working on that. He is house trained and crate trained. He walks well on leash and he enjoys his walks. He is friendly and sweet and also likes giving kisses. Thad will make a wonderful companion. Thad loves everyone he meets! Thad would do best in a home with other active dogs and older children.  Is Thad the love you've been looking for? If you would like to give Thad his forever home, please submit an application at southerncrossbtr.com. The adoption fee is $375 He is being fostered in the Memphis, TN area.  For a complete listing of all of our available Bostons, or to learn more about SCBTR, please visit our website at www.southerncrossbtr.com.
