Rescue/Shelter Description
Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs in multiple states and finding them permanent homes. We provide foster care and rehabilitation for abused, neglected, and displaced Boston Terriers. We also provide them with the opportunity to successfully adapt to a new adoptive home. We strive to educate the public to the importance of spaying/neutering and heartworm prevention.
Areas Served
SCBTR primarily adoptions to the following state: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida Panhandle, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. All other states are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Adoption Instructions
Applications may take up to two weeks to process. You will ONLY be contacted if your application is approved. SCBTR Board reserves the right to deny any adoption for any reason at any time. Please note: The dog you apply for may have multiple adoption applications. If approved, you will be considered for other available dogs if the dog you applied for has been adopted. ALL potential adopters and foster homes are screened for suitable placement of animals. SCBTR may refuse placement of an animal for any reason. By submitting this application, you give permission for SCBTR to investigate and confirm the information that you provide. All forms become the property of SCBTR upon submission. All SCBTR dogs are fully vetted at the time of adoption which includes shots, fecal and heartworm test, worming and will be current on a monthly heartworm medication, been spayed or neutered, micro chipped, and have been treated for any current health issues. SCBTR adoption fee varies by dog and goes toward covering the cost of vetting our rescues.
