Beck is amazing with the kids and dog in his foster home. He's a very well behaved boy and does well  out in public, and even meeting dogs who are not well behaved. Beck loves to nap throughout the day and is calmer than your average puppy. He loves to cuddle!  He doesn’t like his kennel, and will cry and bark at first but he calms down and sleeps well. He was housebroken in his Texas foster home and is getting back into a routine now that he's in his New England foster home. His foster family adores him and says he is an angel!  Beck was fostered with cats in Texas and did well with them.      (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you). Emily is an easy-going puppy that loves playing with other dogs. Her foster mom describes her as the "ultimate social butterfly.” She loves getting hugs from people and meeting other dogs and cats. She also enjoys car rides. She is good with her potty and crate skills but needs a bit more leash training. Emily’s finder in Houston thinks that she had been recently abandoned in her neighborhood. A SPR volunteer decided to foster Emily after seeing the finder’s call for help on social media. Linda is a fun and funny little pup. She was super nervous in the shelter after being found as a stray, but started to warm up quickly once she landed in her foster home. She always wants to be in your lap and currently sleeps in bed at night with her Texas foster mom. She hangs out with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys being perched up on the back of the couch with them to watch out the window. She has started playing with the other dogs in the house too.  She's just about housebroken and walks well on a leash. She does well out in public too. She may take a few minutes to warm up to her new family, but once she does, she will be your best friend for life! is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. Meet Lucky, a happy energetic guy who is definitely part Tigger. He bounces like a spring when he’s happy to see you. Lucky has never met a stranger and always up for a good time. He loves other dogs of all sizes, cats, kids and toys. Running and bouncing is his favorite. Exploring is his favorite. Eating is his favorite. Whatever Lucky is doing he is having the best time in the room. He does well in the car and would love to join you on any adventures! He’d love a playmate – two or four legged, doesn’t matter! He’d probably do best with kids who are at least 9/10 because he is still a bit mouthy, but his foster family is working on it with him. Lucky is doing GREAT with housebreaking. After a few accidents when he first arrived, he seems to have figured out how to signal now when he needs to go outside. He does very well in his crate and sleeps through the night. He is still learning that the leash is not a toy, and is working on not pulling on walks. He is super smart though and we know he will get the hang of it soon! He quickly learned "sit" and "down" in just a few days in his foster home.  is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. Micaela was found chained up in a place full of garbage, sitting in the hot sun with no food or water. Luckily our rescue partner found her and was able to save her from that misery and get her safe! She is such a beautiful and happy girl. Like a typical husky she is medium to higher energy. She does not seem to be an escape artist but she does jump. She's working on housebreaking and crate training, and walks pretty well on a leash already. she has been great with other dogs, cats and (older) kids in her southern foster home.  is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. Muneca is a very sweet girl who loves to snuggle! Muneca was a stray found in Mexico. She loves women and bonds quickly but can be reserved with men at first until she's comfortable. Treats and scratches definitely speed up the process! She also loves her crate and will go in on her own to chill with the door open. She's pretty high energy and will definitely require regular exercise and play time. She likes stuffed toys and will flip them up in the air and run around being silly to entertain herself. She's been very friendly (lots of licks) with both her foster siblings and has especially bonded with her male foster sibling. She's housebroken and loves to go on walks!   is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. Oyster is a very sweet, playful, and energetic puppy. She likes to nibble on feet when you walk by, but in a playful way. She's the most outgoing of her siblings, and is very friendly and excited when she meets new people! She is playful and affectionnate with other dogs, and curious about kitties but very respectful. She is working on housebreaking and already sleeps quietly through the night in her foster home. Like most puppies Oyster LOVES toys, belly rubs, snuggles and being held! She's a medium energy pup and is very treat motivated. Overall she's a great puppy who will make an amazing family member! Shrimp has the most irresistible ears! She is very playful with her littermates and likes to nibble on feet in a playful way. She likes to snuggle occasionally, and is happy being held. She loves playing with toys, and is very respectful when waiting to be fed (all the puppies are)--they'll sit, watch, and wait until their meals are served to them which seems very mature!  Shrimp is very excitable and jumpy when meeting new people but does settle down and likes to nap and cuddle. She's interested in the other dogs in her foster home, and is curious and playful with the cats as well (but respectful). She also loves to play with any toys, balls and bones. Meet Topper! Topper is 13 lbs of personality. He loves running full speed into your lap and demanding love and affection. He loves to be as close as possible to a person. Topper is good with other dogs, and is cool with going on a long walk or taking a long nap - he's just happy to be around you! Topper has been marking (little pee) on his dog foster brother's stuff. If you have another dog, you may need to look into training or belly bands. It has decreased in frequency significantly since staying at his foster home for so long.   Topper has been shy about meeting people at events and on walks. At his foster home, he quickly made friends with all the people and dogs. Just give him some time and he'll be your buddy in no time! Topper can be loud when left alone but is not destructive. His foster family is helping him build his confidence while he is left alone so he will not cry so much. Topper also hates his foster home's refrigerator. It makes a weird sound that makes him nervous. He's getting better at calming down quicker when it makes the sound. Otherwise, Topper is very quiet considering he's a Chihuahua! His foster mom works from home and she isn't worried about him interrupting her meetings.  Topper likes being picked up on his terms. He will let you know when he wants to be picked up by standing on his hind legs to get your attention. He will show his teeth and give a gentle warning if you don't respect his boundaries. When he's happy to be picked up, he will snuggle into your arms and is more than happy to be chauffeured around. Topper is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
