0420178 I have been through the CCI prison training program. This means that I have worked so hard to be my best self--I knows commands like "place", "stay", "heel", "sit", and "down." I have worked on my socialization with other dogs and people as well and I have done amazing. With your continued trianing and support I can continue to be the best dog. This training program is awesome because I also come with a training booklet to educate you on what I know to keep up with my training. They also offer training refresher courses to help you if I need extra support! If you’re looking for a smart, silly and extremely loyal dog, Amber Red is your girl. Her birthday 1/31/2020. She is a female Doberman mix who is potty trained, leash trained and crate trained. She just returned from prison training in which she learned that she doesn’t have to resource guard her people from strangers and new dogs; she is doing great but in order to set her up for success, she still needs very slow and controlled introductions to new people and dogs. Amber Reds’s foster home has 3 dogs and cat and she adores them all. She LOVES playing with toys (independently or with her human), walks and cuddles. Sierras ideal home would be a mellow house with active grown ups. Amber Red has been let down a lot in the past so she NEEDS someone who’s going to continuously work with her to gain her trust and show her she can be a silly, lovable, and spoiled dog all at the same time.  Disclaimer: All rescue dogs may have a percentage of pit bull or Staffordshire breeds in them. show less

0321084 I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation! Hello! My name is Benjamin and I am a male, neutered lab mix. My birthday is 1/18/2021. I get along well with other dogs most of the time. Occasionally I show resource guarding behaviors toward people and furniture, but I have never been aggressive, I just get a little anxious when I think other dogs are approaching my “treasure.” My foster family doesn’t have any children, but I have always been friendly to kids when I see them when I am outside of the house – I even try to give them kisses sometimes. I can be a little timid at first, but I warm up quickly and once I trust you, I am an absolute cuddle bug! I adore snuggling with my humans on the couch or in bed, and I’ll even fall asleep with my head on you if you let me. I am fully potty trained, and I am almost fully crate trained as well. I do have a little bit of separation anxiety so I don’t like being left alone for long periods of time. I am working on my manners and am starting to learn basic commands. I enjoy playing with my kong and my chew bones, and I get really excited when I hear the ice machine because I LOVE eating ice cubes! I need a forever home with a family that will be patient with me since I am a little shy and still learning. I am an active boy, so I need a family that will play with me and allow me to get exercise. I love my humans so I will do best with a family that has lots of time for me. They also offer training refresher courses to help you if I need extra support! This handsome fellow is Cadillac Jack and was born around 12/6/2020. He is a white Shepherd mix and weighs about 50lbs. He recently attended a month long training program to work on building his confidence,  loose leash training, and other fun and important commands.  He is looking for a family that he can just love on and also buddy up with, go on hikes, and play ball with. He has a foster sister who loves balls, and hogs them, so it would be great if he could be with a family he could get the ball once in a while. He does great making friend and playing at the dog park.  He has marking around his eyes that look like he has eyeliner on, and gives him that distinctive look. CJ is all an white, long haired shepherd with probably bully mix of some kind. He has the most gentle disposition. CJ loves to cuddle and plays great with his young foster sister and his older foster sisters. He has been teaching the younger one the rules of the house and playing with her.  He is UTD on shots, potty trained, and the most gentle loving dog who would do well with a young family.  Disclaimer: All rescue dogs may have a percentage of pit bull or Staffordshire breeds in them. show less

0421150 I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation! Meet Fizz! The dog formally known as Bubbles. She was born around 4/19/2019. Fizz loves cuddles, food/snacks, playing with toys- she’s a chewer so black Kong and Lacrosse balls were the biggest hit, and totally responds to positive reinforcement paired with kindness.  She’ll do anything to please. In fact, in one week she became:     ⁃    potty trained (but doesn’t know how to ask to go out yet)      ⁃    is cat friendly due to dedicated training socialization      ⁃    Sits     ⁃    Stays (just started and it’s paired with waiting to eating her food)     ⁃    Kinda rolls over      ⁃    Walks on the left as a part of her dedicated leash training     ⁃    Despises being in the crate but will go with coaxing  She has a prey drive toward bunnies and squirrels, but interestingly is great with cats. She gets very excited around other dogs. She's been through the prison training program so she has a great foundation on being obedient and controlling her excitement. She needs a home with someone who can continue her training by going over it with her often. She also needs someone who is firm. She's loving and sweet, so you won't regret taking her home! 0121062 I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation!  Let me tell you about Gucci, she’s approximately 3 years old Boxer Mix. Gucci has come a long way from when we first brought her home, she was overly rambunctious but with regular walks she has settled down quite a bit. She’s great on a leash but if she starts to pull just walk the opposite way and then she’ll fall in line and if you stand in place too long she’ll try and take the leash from your hand, so keep walking lol. Obviously she is great with other dogs and fantastic with our kid but she hasn’t been around cats yet. She’s such a sweet girl that loves spending time with us and she gives me lots of hugs. Gucci loves playing catch, hide and seek, tug a war and chasing after our 5 year old Son. I love it when she takes the rope and pushes it into my kiddos hand to encourage him to play with her. At the end of the night she’ll snuggle up to him while he watches TV and falls asleep. Gucci does have selected hearing when I tell her it’s time for bed but when I gently pull on her collar she reluctantly goes into her kennel. She does know some of her basic commands but loves to dance on her hind leg. She’s a toy hog and needs to have durable toys or they won’t last long. She’s extremely gentle when taking treats and for some strange reasons she’ll bark like crazy if there’s another dog on the other side of the fence but if the dog is in front of her she’s chill. My only hope is that someone will notice how precious she is and give her a forever home. Disclaimer: All rescue dogs may have a percentage of pit bull or Staffordshire breeds in them. show less
